Yes DramaQueen, i find something quite special when i do put my mind to watching it. I last finished Sugar & Lies that totally took me by surprise. Lots of romance & angst!

I give this vertical 9,5/10 stars! I mean wow, the passion & angst! Despite the prolonged misunderstandings this was very enjoyable because of the stark longing between the leads and ML (My first time seeing him on-screen) is one hell of a actor who SHINED IN HIS PERFORMANCE AS THE DARK BROODING CEO who hated to love his heroine.
Wang Xuan always makes my heart beat faster in everything he does, wow! He is so good in portraying sensual masculinity, showing through his eyes how he worship the ground his heroine walks on!
This was top on in terms of chemistry and story and acting! Loved it!

I grew up in Europe which resulted in me growing up watching Hollywood Movies, as a die hard Movie fan i kept interest in many of my favourite actors work especially their movies from 80s & 90s. You name it, L.DiCaprio, R.Phoneix, T.Cruise, A.Banderas, B.Pitt, M.Dillon many others, i even kept track of actor from Golden Age of Hollywood as a huge fan of Gone With The Wind (and the book) , Duel in the Sun, Spellbound and many other old movies.
But then i read The Godfather one day, as i was really into the Mafia genre, i was incredibly perplexed by Johnny Fontane`s storyarc (that is not shown in the film) especially since he is a famous artist and actor in Hollywood and the DEPICTION OF CHILD SE* TRAFFI**ING was wild. I hated his arc, and i hated the mentioning of how child artists were sold and abused in Hollywood.
When i started watching Candace Owens Podcast few years ago she repeatedly recommended a book called "Hollywood Babylon" written by the Occultist and director Kenneth Anger. When i read it i was astounded by all the deaths that have been going on since the START of Hollywood, its ties to the Maffia and the Occult.The same with "Hollywood Babylon 2". More mysterious deaths and so called "suicides by overdoses". The only reason Anger never made a Hollywood Babylon 3 is because he was afraid to be sued by T.Cruise and the Church of Scientology (Church of Scientology is by the way involved in so many evil occultist shit, its current leader`s wife has been missed and NOT seen public since 2007.Her mother got shot by a rifle in the 80s....shady)
And i was even more astounded by how the Government was involved with the Charles Manson murders when i read another book Owens repeatedly reccomended: "Chaos:Charles Manson, CIA & The secret History of the 60s".
We have seen the Club Shay Shay interview explode with Katt Williams, when he clearly told us all that to make it in Hollywood you have to sell your soul to the Devil. The biggest job for everyone in Hollywood is to act like they didn`t.
Many of the artists and actors of today are sold into Hollywood as children or underage and they get STUCK with slave contracts. We have Britney Spears, Charlie Sheen, Rihanna, Justin Bieber, Usher, DiCaprio, Jennifer Lopez, Joaqin Phoenix, (his older brother`s tragic death just outside Johnny Depp`s Viper Club, omg) and many others...
All of them have their own Handlers in every situation and contract in Hollywood. To keep control of them in every regard.
(sigh) and we still have those unreleased Jeffrey Epstein Files.
Corey Feldman who was a very famous child actor and teen idol during the 80s is one of the FEW who really said it out loud that Hollywood is FILLED WITH PEDO****A. That he was surrounded by them!
Interesting enough, Feldman starred as a child in "Stand By Me" which is a film directed by Rob Reiner.
We have the killings of Rob Reiner & his wife Michele Reiner that occured in december 2025. I am not TRUSTING the Media Outlet one bit about the cause of those killings. The son may have done it, but for what and why. What happened for him to MURDER BOTH HIS PARENTS LIKE THAT! IT DOES NOT MAKE SENSE!
The Occult, the Rituals, marks of Devil worship...everything reminds me of Yu MengLong`s tragic fate. The sadistic nature in it...i can say it clearly. This is going on in ALL KINDS OF ENTERTAINMENT APPARATUS. I would not be surprised if this has been going on in Japan or Southkorea either.
I don`t trust all the so called "suicide" cases either. I just don`t, not anymore.

I know what you mean, it’s more of a Open ending actually, where the viewer gets to choose. The writers of c-dramas are known for creating endings like these.
I however know what kind of ending the writer TRULY intended and it was the tragic ending cuz it was formulated so well into the ending arc. The other so called ” happy ending ” is for the other viewers who need to be soothed.
But I did not believe in that ending cuz it just did not fit right, I knew what the Writer Really intended to do here.
