The ending is very sad, although it can also leave a chance for the Open end since she looks up with a smile by the end. But i feel like a gotta have a more realistic POV to it since you literally see him dying and she sees him in spirit form. So sad, i cried so much.

I watched this drama a while back, its a really moving story in the feelings it invokes. Anguish, pain, depression and regret. Male hero is absolutely gorgeous and the female heroine is beautiful as well, these two just CLICK as in a perfect portrait.
Their story did not start off in a good way, and its a very emotionally challenging watching these two circle each other in a voltage of pain & suffering. They obviously love each other but hurt each other to much.

I saw some shorts of him in To My Shore, and BL is just NOT my thing. But darn it he took on the badass sexy Anti-hero look to a whole new level for being so young! I WILL BE BACK TO SEE IF HE IS IN A NEW DRAMA! Romancing the HELL OUT of a female heroine in the future!
This actor gave a very memorable performance as SML in "Endlessly Your Sweet". So when i first watched him as Male Lead i was shocked because i totally fell for him in "The Night Mist". So much chemistry he had with his co-star!! Glad that he get ML roles now!

The plot was a LOT similar to Once Upon a Dream.
I love the way YanQing just refused to let the heroine go.
