Pure love and trust
Love in all phases. From admiration to crush to puppy love to romantic love and mature love.The purity of the love and trust of the FL to the ML is really heartwarming. And the ML is truly captivating as he navigates from an older friend's affection to a deeper and more mature love.
Zhao Lusi and Chen Zheyuan have perfectly portrayed their roles.
I've watched it a couple of times already and it still gets to me. The smiles, the tears, the romance, everything.
I hope Lusi and Zheyuan will have another drama soon.

Superb acting but heart wrenching drama
Great cast. Superb acting especially by ML & FL. i don't usually cry but this drama had me tearing up a couple of times. Spoiler Alert !!! If you can't handle heart wrenching endings then don't go beyond episode 35. I had to rewatch some scenes in Hidden Love just to appease my sad heart. I love the chemistry between the ML and FL. Acting is really believable. Some scenes could have been written better. The abduction episode was not done well. Writing and production in that episode is lacking. Another spoiler alert !!! The kind of death of one of the support cast didn't do him justice. Too flimsy. The writers could have given him a better death scene. Overall though its a great drama. i wasnt able to stop binge watching.Was this review helpful to you?

Good casting.
I love how Yangyang portrays his role. I'm really mesmerized not just by his looks but the way he makes me believe that he is Song Yan. I can feel his pain as well as his happiness when they got back together. This is the first time I've watched Wang Churan. Though she portrayed her role well as a helpless, fearful, and obedient daughter, there might be too many scenes where she is like that. i loved it when she started fighting back for herself and her love. I wish it was sooner though rather than later in the series. I think she is a good actress. She has brought tears to my eyes in some scenes.Was this review helpful to you?
Feel good romantic comedy
Overall it's a good series. Main lead and supporting casts delivered well. The storyline is not new but it still warms the heart. There are a few tear jerker moments as well. The only thing I'm really surprised is that although both Jun-ho and Yoon-ah did a good job, i really can't feel their chemistry. I can't pinpoint it but i wasn't convinced that they love each other in the series. Their kisses didn't excite me as much as i would have expected. But putting the lack of chemistry aside, its a good series to watch especially if you are looking for a feel good rom-com.Was this review helpful to you?
