no idea who edits what for what reason on MDL, if your question is what happened with Zhao Lu Si, her old agency…
I am really confused as to why you are writing about all this in an MDL article about Zhao Lusi, who recently went through bad times and is thankfully on the rise again.

This is a site for people who like drama's, not a scandal site for people who love celebrity sexploitation and sensationalism, maybe you are in the wrong place.

I didn't watch this drama as it aired, instead binged it over two days after it concluded - while initially thrown by the small town dynamics and characters, I quickly got wrapped up in the overall story and ultimately enjoyed the ride and conclusion.

its in the second episode when the ml said something about a disease called “African Encephalitis", ppl…
Google is so easy to use, type in African Encephalitis and you'll see it is an actual disease, but as with many other medical conditions it is also known by other names as well.
People appear to be actually more offended at the use of the word Africa, being associated in a negative light, as in with a disease.
By this wisdom and thought process, I guess citizens of Germany must be offended by the medical condition German Measles or Spanish Citizens by the term Spanish Flu.
There are many things to fight about in this world, THIS is not one of them.

"African encephalitis" i rolled my eyes when i saw that like the casual racism in kdramas is getting BORINGGGGG…
Luckily they did not mention German Measles or Spanish Flu - imagine the outcry! Would you of felt better about West Nile Virus or is any African named illness such as Ebola Hemorrhagic Fever (Ebola River, Zaire) or Lassa Fever (Lassa, Nigeria) also racist and off the table?

I enjoyed the first two episodes of this drama, the rom-com tropes are coming fast, but to be honest I don't really care. It's fun to watch something that's light and not serious, after having watched series like Queen Mantis or 9 puzzles (which were great, but quite dark)
Jung So Min is as dazzling as ever, I really like her comedic timing and chemistry with the other actors. Regardless of rom-com tropes, this feels like a favourite meal that I always appreciate and makes me feel good. Looking forward to the rest of the drama.

Nearly all the above comments sadden me greatly, but I think they are more of a reflection of the people writing…
So your comments, 'sketchy as fck' or I hope she gave to everyone, were in no way negative or related to anyone - you really are too funny.

So you give to charity let me revise my comment, if you have given even 1% feel free to cast shade - but lets face it, not going to be even close are you.
I'll repeat, you DID cast shade, anyone reading your comments can see that, so be a man and take it when its reflected back to you.

Sounds like bribes to me...
Nearly all the above comments sadden me greatly, but I think they are more of a reflection of the people writing them and their values, rather than anything to do with IU. Just a few minutes on google would inform you of how much IU has given to charity during her career, how she is continually given gifts to those who work alongside her on projects. I'm going to take a wild guess that none of you guys have given 2% of what she has - this is very much a case of people in glass houses ....
I know there is lots wrong with the world, but when someone in kind and generous, maybe be quiet unless you yourself are a saint and can prove it, not just say it.

A beautiful and touching story, featuring three of my favourite actresses - one of the last scenes broke me, you'll know it when you watch the movie. This movie definitely deserves more attention and appreciation, its a gem with a 9.0 score from me, I highly recommend this movie.

I wish I had lost the memory of this series so I could rewatch it again. I was on edge throughout the whole 8…
I agree with everything you just wrote, both Queen mantis and Nine Puzzles were well produced, paced mystery / thrillers - both had some great acting and are worth a re-watch, even knowing the twists and turns.

If you have not watched Kill Bok Soon - watch Kill Book Soon first, its the superior movie (by far in my opinion)
They are both action flicks, I hope you enjoy them both - let me know which you preferred .

so to understand mantis, do I have to watch? kill Boksoon ?
My opinion is different, Mantis is okay, Kill Bok Soon is just better in every way - judge for yourself, but I'd advise watching Kill Bok Soon first as it is what Mantis is based on (same world)

So who is the copycat killer?I have not seen the French original series and am only guessing here as to who it…
My guess is the wife's best friend Seo A Ra.
I think it was in the first episode, where the wife put milk in her coffee and said she'd made a mistake as she always has it black. Odd scene, made no sense, why was it there? From then on, I was very suspicious of the character - suggested to wife to visit husbands hometown, made friends immediately and got close with with husbands childhood friend. As of episode 6 we know think that the killer at least looks convincingly female. I would be horrified if it turned out to be the wife, but I'm still guessing her best friend.

So who is the copycat killer?

I have not seen the French original series and am only guessing here as to who it is. In a previous post which has mysteriously disappeared, I wrote three reasons why I suspected one character ....

Who do you think it is and why, tag as spoiler to keep everyone guessing and coming up with theories.

I think I'd be more upset if the other detectives had not discovered the truth of his identity and the fact that…
We see things differently and that's fine. The lead detectives identity is not the BIG lie here, it's hiding where he is getting all his conclusions / guesses from, his mother. Even queen Mantis being his mother is NOT the problem - again it's hiding Mantis from the beginning as a source of information.
There is literally no point in having a team in this series if they are not privy to the same information. They are working in the dark with one arm tied behind their back because everyone above them is hiding information.
To solve a problem, you need all the information to brainstorm and come at it from different perspectives - the team have about 50% of the information, I'd be very mad if I were them.

Regarding the hotel room situation - BOTH are in the wrong. Female detective disobeyed an order to not ring the alarm, fair enough, BUT Cha Su Yeol, had already decided that sacrificing the man's life was worth catching the killer - that is not his call as a policeman. As a police man saving a member of public is his number one priority. Now if this was the army trying to capture the serial killer I'd get the greater good decision, but as a police officer it doesn't ring true at all - Any family of the man in hotel room could rightfully sue the police force into oblivion for not doing everything they could to save their loved one.

This show is kinda messy...Also, Minjae's death was not convincing at all. The writers did Minjae really dirty…
The show is a bit messy, totally agree with you about Min Jae's death (bad writing)

Regarding the team however I disagree, how many shows have corruption in the upper ranks of the police, where facts and information are being held from the team to lead an investigation astray. The team have been lied to from the start and are playing catch up with the full facts. Trust really is a two way street, I'd be inclined to not trust my superiors in their situation after so much being kept from them. WE can see the full picture, such as it is, they have been kept in the dark and lied to ....

OMG been along time since a character annoyed the shit out of me. Pardon two, the right armof the female detective…
I think I'd be more upset if the other detectives had not discovered the truth of his identity and the fact that they'd had masses of information hidden from them from the start. How many shows have we seen, where higher ups in the police are trying to hide information for their own ambitions or people they are beholden to. I think it's perfectly reasonable for the team to feel betrayed and lied to. We can see the full picture as viewers, they don't. The team are in fact playing catch-up the whole show. Yes Kim Na Hui (the female detective) made a huge mistake allowing a suspect to escape from hospital, but that is about the worst she has done. WE can see the greater good perspective, the team wasn't allowed that point of view until late in episode 6, they knew something was off and being detectives started checking things out that did not add up. All this is of course, just my point of view, but maybe its food for thought .......
