This producer/director is smart, they changed the story so that it will get approval to air fast. Nowadays C-govn doesnt favour palace drama, even if it's fiction. I am guessing probably this is one of the reason why SOKP is on hold.

xianxia and period drama are my favourite too but I find that they also tend to have more open/sad/disappointing/wtf ending. lol. Modern drama tend to have more satisfying ending.

Moving on to T&C right after I finished MJTY. I think MJTY spoilt us with those d*mn good visuals and also hot guys. Everything in T&C is not very appealing (especially the hairstyle). The only saving grace is ZLH's always angry character. This also has MLC vibe but lacking in many ways.
