You are still welcome to discuss. I check comments section very frequently LOL. One of the recent comment section that I enjoyed very much is TTEOTM's page. I'd made a lot of friends there. We all went through the angst together. Because most of us there are drama fans, and not idol fans.
Sometimes I do pity youtuber because they voiced their opinion publicly and this will provoke a lot of people, for ex AvenueX. She gained quite a lot of haters over the years.
Marcus is still ok because he only do updates and not reviews.

YES! hahaha and when I am struggling through a drama, I get grumpy and will come to make some comments, which I did in TLP and was targeted by some very angry and offended fan of the actor. Scares the sh*t out of me. LOL

I could be one of those that said going to drop but keep coming back LOL because I really really want to finish watching the drama even that I dont like it. I really need the motivation to go on. Sometimes the struggle is real, but often times I still gave up, very good example is Goblin. T_T

Agree with you. Healthy debates are fun. So far, this comment section is still ok. Some may like or dont like the drama, which is perfectly normal. Human are emotional, some might get angry if they don't like the drama (especially if the drama has BE). LOL.
I like to go to comment section to discuss about the drama. But one of the worse comment section that I'd been to is TLP. Actor fans and drama fans are different entity. Actor fans will protect and defend their idol/drama at all cost, to the point of being toxic. Drama fans, imo, are more grounded, and we will discuss with an open mind.

like someone said earlier, they don't need award performance for actor/actress in cdrama. You dont like her because of her style. But this type of styling is very popular in China, like Esther Yu. And big eyed actress with bad acting is also very popular (like Yukee Chan and Angelababy). She has the demand and fanbase, that's why she get many drama offer.

I think comparison is because it's by the same author but story is very different. The outrage is probably because the drama change a lot from original novel story, which I am a bit disappointed too. Yes, tbh FL here is less cringe than Orchid, maybe a little over dramatic but still ok for me. I might drop this because of the story, but I will still give it a try until episode 10.
