I dont hate them too but I feel it’s a very lazy writing for both second leads. They both are obsessed with first leads for no reason. Urghh..Dear writers, stop making characters fall in love with people who doesn’t love them. Such wrong message for audience and it’s not fun to watch.

My third drama for YCY (unfortunately dropped the other 2 too). For BFTB, it’s my first for HMH and YH. Love them both!! The chemistry is sizzling! and story was captivating from the very beginning.

I am trying my best to like the FL, she was ok at first but just didn’t spark joy watching her. And I read that she will be a simpleton in the next lifetime, I don’t know if I can take it anymore. 😅
Of all the MC from Jiulufeixiang’s story (drama), I like Yan Hui from BFTB the most. Strong, practical and funny.

Not really. Few years ago cdrama used to be much longer. I'd completed Ruyi Royal Love (87 episodes) and Story of Ming Lan (78 episodes). I don't know how I did it, but I did.
Nowadays drama with 40 episodes are just piece of cake. And also fast forward button can be your best friend. LOL

Yes! I am intrigued to watch this drama because of the sypnosis in MDL (which is based on the novel) and later found out from the first 2 episodes it’s nothing like the novel, so I am a bit disappointed. They don’t have to start all xianxia with a God of War. Or Demon God.
