Episode 6 in and I'm still not fully into the story yet. I will give it 10 episode to decide whether to continue or drop. Sigh...I really like LXY but I keep dropping his drama I feel so bad for him.

After watching a few xianxias in the recent years, they don't even need demon or devil to be antagonist anymore. I am not even surprise that the true evil is from immortal clans and the divine group of hypocrites. Wearing all white and pure but so evil in their core. If I exist in xianxia world I wont hesitate to join demon clan. LOL

ahh I get what you mean now. I've watched quite a few of xianxia too and from your list, my personal favourite is Love and Destiny. I too, prefer the character slightly older/mature. I also watched a few 'baby fairy' xianxia too, (The Last Immortal, LBFAD). This year I enjoyed watching 2 xianxia, Moonlight Mystique and Divine Tree, (unfortunately I dropped Blossoming Love) and I can't wait to start this.

After watching Divine Tree I understand why I love watching xianxia. Their magic system is just so ridiculously FUN to watch. LOL

She said many times throughout the drama, she is only defending herself and never see any of them as her enemy. She never want them to die (except for her father). She cried not because she loves him or misses him, but she was traumatise that he died in front of her. Step-bro was a product of poor parenting, a fool but he was not evil.

This kind of complex family drama, usually they are either forced to marry, or marry for convenience (to work together) and then only they will fall deeply in love after they get married. In the trailer, I see Haiyan is not too happy on her wedding day.
