I think very close to Xie Wei's constipated-and-always-angry ML vibe should be Prisoner of Beauty's Wei Shao which a lot of us are waiting rather impatiently.

TTEOM has more misunderstanding and angst than TLI but the problem with TLI was both FL and ML were immature characters thats why it’s not so fun to watch… I was more interested with the second lead couple.
