But I get what you mean, If you notice I also wrote something like yours. LTG and RY has a very weird and unhealthy relationship and that definitely is not romance like what the drama trying to show. LTG is an interesting character but I am also disappointed how this drama grow him. I am hoping NYZ’s softer and smarter approach could change him but he keep seeing him as enemy and as of now I am tire of this human child.

She was in An country when she hold that high Left post. Then she ‘died’ and she went to join the White Sparrow devision in Wu country. It’s quite far away. Back then their database is not so good like now, they dont have picture all that.

I love her when she is playing a strong character. First saw her in The Long Ballad, love her character so much, even though she is innocent and weak, I didnt see her as childish. but so strong willed. And also LYN as Haodu, omg 😍 Rewatching them over and over. Cant wait for their new Jewelry drama.

hahahaha. Just like the Longest Promise, that page was a war zone. First few episodes were quite bad and I went to the page to seek some motivation to continue but fans were raging at me because I didnt enjoy as much as them 😅

Yea, its not bad but not engaging. Some drama will just hook us in in the first few episode. Xianxia that hooked me right from first episode were TTEOTM and BFTB. I havent watch LYF but I heard so many good reviews. This is a very competitive year for xianxia genre.

For xianxia we need to force through 10-15 episodes before it start to get good. 😆

I love xianxia but also dropped many xianxia. TLI is not too bad but not very engaging, I might give it 10-15 episode and then drop it, just like Love You Seven Times. And you are right, both main leads are a bit childish and I try to ignore ZLS’s baby voice.

Yes, I am a fan but I avoid watching him as SML. Sooooo happy he is getting main role now. He is tall and mature and has no problem playing opposite older FL.

I am watching Last Immortal while waiting for this...so far not very engaging. Man, I miss this drama. Tomorrow is a long way to go.

I dropped many xianxia before but I still love watching this genre. Because no country make fantasy drama as OTT as China. LOL. I love it!!

For me, the first 4 was not too bad. But recently there's too many explosive xianxia drama (TTEOTM and LYF) so everyone has very high expectation on this, especially this has ZLS in it. ZLS herself already dished out many amazing dramas recent years so everyone expect this drama to have that wow factor. And not to mention ALP fans too. So this drama certainly has a lot of expectation to fulfil.

xianxia always get very low rating. It's not everyone cup of tea. But rating after 4 episodes, even I had to LOL at these ppl.

A guide for watching xianxia, (especially for those who have not try this genre before)
1. You have to give it 10-15 episodes before you decide whether you love or hate it. Xianxia story has a lot of characters and layers of story, it's always very complicated.
2. There will be a lot of CG, really a lot because we real human can't shoot spell. And yes the whole drama will be very video gamey.
3. Do not disheartened by the ending. Just prepare and embrace for the worse, or open ending.
4. Xianxia = fantasy. Do not watch with too much human logic.

And please do not rate after watching 4 episodes. Maybe you are in shocked but ladies and gentlemen, this is xianxia.
