Another beautiful version of Mulan! xD Loved it! :D Although I found it a bit draggy, and the story was not 100% perfect and there were some flaws, it was still an awesome story! <3 Also loved all the characters and cast, they were all awesome! ^_^ Definitely worth a watch! :D

What I liked in this version is that they made the main actress go instead of her father's place in ep 3, which I wanted and thought I would have found in the other version of Mulan, in the other chinese drama The Legend of Hua Mulan, which took her some time until she took her father's place in the army.
Also, although they made Mulan's character kind of weak and always getting help from others, and just wants peace.......I still liked her character :) Although I wanted to see her as a leader and intelligent, it's like her sister got it instead. Mentioning her sister, I liked that they also showed about her and not only Rou Lan, I think the story would have been boring if they showed about Rou Lan only.
Moreover, I found it a bit fake, in the beginning of the drama, that Ruo Lan's father was told to go to the army again, and even though his daughter took his place, she did not take her father's name but choose another name. It does make sense to not take his name because he is famous in the army and they know he is old, but what is fake is that they did not check whether Hua Wu went to the army or not, which means that his daughter went instead of his place for nothing!
Also, what I did not like in the story, was that they were confusing the audience whether Rou Lan likes the 3rd prince or the scholar Zhao Yu and I throughout the whole drama I kept trying to guess who she likes, which I hated! At least, I comforted myself is that they both were sure they liked her! In the The Legend of Hua Mulan drama showed that Mulan and the prince liked each other, it was clear cut and not like this version, confusing us! Well probably she liked the prince since she seemed kind of shocked that he was getting married......do not know :/
Anyway, although there were many deaths, tragedies, vengeances, hardships and pain, I still consider the story as a happy ending :) Even though the romance part was confusing, I still loved how they showed friendship between Ruo Lan, the scholar and the prince :3 Definitely watch it! :D
I remember watching this drama a long time ago, and I hated it! The main female lead's character was a disaster and did not know what she wants! Also, the story was not good either!
Currently watching this lakorn and I love it! xD Although the plot is easy to guess, it is nice, simple and not too complicated :) Also it taught me some lessons that love is not a fairy tale and you have to create love, not wait for it, that people change after marriage, that people can fall in love with other people even when they are married as they are bound by morals and traditions, etc. This lakorn really made me reflect and be more open-minded in terms of marriage.
Although I'm not married, I think that in terms of marriage and the story based in the 60's, it was realistic. Also, liked the fact that the main lead did not force the main actress (there were some forced kisses on the cheek, but I think it was not that bad) :D
Loved all the cast and characters, they are all great! xD Btw, definitely watch this lakorn, it is interesting and different from the usual lakorn that I usually watch......so watch it now!! <3
Really loved this drama! xD It had an awesome story, awesome characters, awesome couples, awesome everything! xD It was really funny and it also had its serious and crying moments :) Really really worth a watch and not draggy at all, even if they made 2 extra episodes!! ^__^ Go watch it now people! <3
Great and interesting article! :) I only saw him acting once in Kurokochi and I thought he was great! :D I will look forward to watch him in other dramas :D
