I have watched all except Suzuki Sensei.....do not know if I will watch it and btw there is also the new GTO, the one shown on this article is the old one, both versions are great! XD Also, God of Study (Korean) is the remake version of Dragon Zakura.....they are both great versions! XD Moreover, Akumu-chan is very very interesting! I really loved it! XD
Although sometimes I did not get some parts of the story, but still it was a great and interesting movie! :D First time I saw Lee Joon Gi act this way....he had a really interesting character, and also the other actors were great too, especially Jeong Jin Yeong (The King) he did a great job portraying an insane, but yet vulnerable king! It made laugh in the first part of it, but it made me sad at the end. I think it is worth a watch!
Great article! Although I always love the perfect endings and the pure love that happen in dramas, but I do not believe that it can happen in real life.
Also, most of the dramas show that marriage is the happy ending, however what comes after and how to keep your marriage going is what is most important, and also you sometimes have to sacrifice for your marriage.
This is just my opinion, as I have never dated and I am not married, but it is just what I see around me. Moreover, people can change after their marriage and can just take her their partner for granted.
But that's why I love watching dramas as it lets me forget about reality and let me dream about the perfect partner and the perfect marriage, etc
Finished! :) I kind of liked it in the beginning, but it got too draggy and had to fast forward it to finish it. Although lots of tragedies and complications happened, it was a good ending :) I think it is worth a watch :)
Note: If you think this is about singing and dancing, etc you are dead wrong.....this only is featured for only a little while. It focuses more on the Xu family and the Jiang family. Also, loved all the couples! XD They were all so cute together :3 Shame they did not show Shasha with a boyfriend or something....I liked her character :)
I do not think that the story was that great, and was full of cliches and sometimes fake....but at times it made me smile or laugh! :3 Also, the lead couple had great chemistry! XD Loved them in Leh Ratree and now love them more! XD They were so cute! XD Even Gigi and Rayji were also cute! :3
For me, the best ugly duckling series was Perfect Match....it had a great story and the lead actors had great chemistry as well! My second favourite is Boy's Paradise, as at least the lead actors had great chemistry together :D
Actually Boy's Paradise lead actors had more chemistry than the Perfect Match lead actors, but I rate dramas or lakorns by their stories rather than the chemistry of the lead actors :) I liked this ugly duckling series :) although pity girl was a totally disaster, but I will close one eye since I liked the other 3 series! XD
finished! XD It was kind of idiotic and full of cliches.....but it was cute! :3 And it was definitely better than pity girl, however, up till now perfect match is my favourite! :D Btw, I loved Maewnam's dad! I have watched him in stupid cupid (unfortunately lakorn is raw) and he was awesome! It was great seeing him again, this time he was even funnier! :D Now off to watch boy's paradise :)
Interesting special! :D Although a bit disappointed that they changed the actress for Ayumi.....I was happy that they showed both Maya and Ayumi act as the Crimson Goddess (Scarlet Angel) as they did not show it in the 2005 anime. Unfortunately there were no eng subs, but I managed to understand a bit :D
Finally finished! :D It was a great drama, and the beginning was great, but along the way it got draggy and I think they ruined the story with the revenge plot. At least it ended well! :D
Currently watching this drama and I think it's great! :D
SPOILER AHEAD!
But, I think it was unnecessary for them to add a sub-plot that was not part of the 2005 anime......especially adding that she has a brother, when in fact she didn't in the anime. That made me a bit mad! :/ What made me madder is that removed various parts from the story that I loved from the anime and even reduced various characters, and then they ended up adding a new sub-plot and new characters! :(
If I did not watch the 2005 anime first and watched the live-action first, I would have liked it better, but since I watched the anime first, I totally fell in love with it XD And thus, I got mad that they changed various part of the original story! Therefore, I cannot rate it more than a 7.
However, do not get me wrong.....I still recommend that you watch the first season, move on to the second one and finally watch the special of the live-action one. It still has a great story and great actors! :) Then, just probably watch the anime or read the manga afterwards :) It would probably make you less mad :P
Great article! :D Thanks for reminding me about the first two movies as I have been wanting to watch them but totally forgot about them. For Our Times I watched it and I LOVED IT! XD Happy weekend guys! :)
Interesting article! :D Although I do not entirely agree with you on Masters' Sun, I agree with you on You Who Came From the Stars. I did like it but it was not that special, and it took me a long time to finish it. Looking forward to your next popular dramas that you dislike articles! XD
Also, great article! :D
