This! She definitely showed more character and strength a lot of the ones talking about her doesn’t even have nor know about it. Esther is always smiling and trying to make everyone’s day with her smile. She bothers literally no one but because of her family being rich an she wanting to take the dream of being an actor she gets condemned. Is that fair? No, it’s not. To think people who rather rich kids not have goals or dreams is ridiculous. Everyone is blessed with a gift and talent. Esther’s is acting, signing and being a good person.

I do agree with the first half of your comment. My biggest ick is that most Asian countries like to push blonde foreigners full front face in drama as if the world hasn’t seen them enough. So yeah that was one of my initial comments got tired of seeing them add them in as background characters towards the Asian actors. Just felt cringy and ick to me. I agree I rather see more of the people of the country than some foreigners. But I’m only on episode 5. So hopefully I will soon.

Yes in Japan being this type of female will get you far. Most of the times some will act westernized but many will stick with the principle.

Omg this I’m 36 and is 5”5 I always get called a 17-21 no one thinks I’m my age. The other day at a store an Indian man said I looked like baby lol 😆. It doesn’t help I also talk just like Esther but my mother was short and had a baby girl soft voice. I wish people would just stop looking for the obvious and worried about themselves. she’s not harming anyone.

I’m 36 years old and Japanese. So for me it’s not too old. I understand everyone has a preference but being older doesn’t make you not able to enjoy these types of dramas. Shoujos are some of my favorites and this drama is definitely that. It captures what I grew up loving and watching. Sorry you feel that way but maybe you’ll find something you do enjoy. 😊

they really should give the first poster back. it just sets the scene and mood for how epic this drama is about to be. I’m on episode 3 and so far I have enjoyed this drama. I usually fast forward a drama when it feels like it’s becoming draggy or not moving fast enough. But I gotta say this is my first drama where I haven’t done that. I’m afraid I will missed little details. Esther Yu is bringing her A game. If there’s any doubts from anyone about her acting please show them this drama. Yes, I’m way behind others but just in these few episodes I’ve watched. I can attest that her acting is really good. He Yu also is giving his A game per usual. His emotions in his body language, eyes and speech give way to the character. These aren’t just famous actors anymore playing characters, no these are the actual characters.

This is my sweets first ever drama like this as a FL. I can’t even freaking believe it. I’m truly excited for this.

novel has happy ending but some spoiled retuers showed Ml dying in FL arms as she cried. I hope that’s only temporary and he comes back alive.

people are talking about how good she looked beside actor Li Run Yi during Tom ford brand event. Many would like to see a drama with these two. It even made it to HS on Weibo multiple days. I wouldn’t mind this pairing once she’s finished looking over scripts.

She grew on me. Her first drama for me was I’ve fallen for you. Loved that drama and her. She’s also pretty evil in a SFL role in The Advisor Alliance. She plays a spoiled evil princess her depth and range was amazing. I also loved her in her guest role A love so romantic. Now I did not like Moonlight, dropped LBAFD, Did not like Love game eastern fantasy,ski into love, sword and fairy 6. I’m currently on Viki watching A romance of a little forest. It’s on hold but so far loving it. Many will give LBAFD and My Journey as her biggest roles. But I loved her other roles. This one is particularly interesting and in a good way. I was one of those though who didn’t like her acting or voice. But I was more so a fan of hers when it comes to her musical career as a singer. But now watching the dramas I mentioned she’s become one of my favorites. She’s adorable and sweet. I follow her Weibo page an she has such a quirky personality which makes me wonder why she gets so much hate. She bothers no one and I also love how my top favorite actress follows her and adores her. So that’s a plus. I hope these dramas I mentioned helped you like they helped me. 😊
