Some of them do have continuity and a lot of them do give you Easter Eggs and hints to the previous adaptations but I understand what you mean. They are different then the usual second, third, fourth season...

It depends on what I have to look at, to be honest. As an intro into the story, The Lost Tomb from 2015. Comedy and story wise I also like Reunion a lot. Adventure wise definitely Tomb of the Sea.
The best overall package for me is definitely Ultimate Note though.

Hi, to be honest it has been some time so I don't really remember what happened in ep 48 but according to the shows afterwards, Er Yue Hong survived the events of M9 but his family died due to him not having kids.
As for the Li clan nothing much is mentioned afterwards, I do think the family is kind of active afterwards though?
Regarding Chen Pi, he without a doubt, survived and appears in some of the other adaptations ;)

If this ends with him dying anyway and her accepting it because the past is the past, then I will revolt. I am having hope it won't end like this though with ep 4, as they did bring him back, just made Ha Rin realize she can't have everything and bringing him back might cost her a friendship or more. I understand that and I accept that sometimes even changing the past can't give you everything but I do want him to stay alive! She was hurting so much when she lost him and it wasn't just because she did not get to tell him she loves her. I really hope she won't have to go through that again.

I am thinking of giving it another chance over the next few months. So many people like it, so maybe I will like it more in the later episodes. Hope dies last ;)

It fits the category very well. If I write a second part I will definitely include it. Personally though, I didn't like it and dropped it. I just...don't like the characters much to be honest.
