To enjoy the story to the fullest, is it better to watch in chronological order or release order?
One note though, there is a new adaptation out that apparently also incorporates The Lost Tomb and The Lost Tomb 2 so maybe that would be more up your alley. Although I don't think it has fully aired yet.

Sorry for the late reply. It depends on whether you want to understand the full story or reaaaally value quality. Because, as you can imagine, if you go from the best one to some of the less quality (as in camera work, music, acting, etc.) ones, it might be hard to watch. Further, it depends on your experience with long Chinese dramas, as they might get draggy at times. Personally, I recommend starting with one that seems fun to watch but is not one that we warned against. So, if you like historical ones, you can start chronologically with The Mystic Nine. If you prefer to go modern right away, go to The Lost Tomb. And if you really don't care and want to just have a fun time, go with Ultimate Note or after all with Reunion. Reunion might be the last ones but it is good quality and fun to watch.

Hi, sorry it took some time for me to see the notification. To be honest, I would not recommend starting with Adventure behind the Bronze Door, simply because it is very lore/story-heavy on the Zhang family/clan which anyone who watched them can tell you: it's very complicated.
But if it's about connection to the series and the movies you mentioned? None of them are really in any way connected to Adventure btBD. Except for Time Raiders you mentioned, all of them are Side Story movies. Meaning they do not influence the main story in any way and just feature the same actors as in the main show they belong to.
For example: I recommend Flowers Bloom and Tiger Bones if you liked the actors from The Mystic Nine. But I would recommend watching the Mystic Nine first or at least have started it so you know who is who.
Funny enough, Hua Mei features the character Liu Sang who also appears (as the same actor) in the Reunion series. For this one I do recommend having at least watching Reunion until Liu Sang appears and his character is explained a little more. You do not have to have watched Tomb of the Sea for Hua Mei though. Same for Bang Ren and Ran Gu, I feel like you don't need to have watched Tomb of the Sea, but it's a plus, in case you want to see some of the characters more (as in, same actors as the main show).
Overall, Adventure btBD is very story heavy so I recommend starting with Ultimate Note (which is chronologically before it) just to get a better overview of who is who and what is what. All the movies you said, you can watch them however you want, as they are not influencing the main series, although the The Mystic Nine ones might be complicated if you don't know who is who. Another option you have, of course, if watching the movie and whenever you have a question about a main character you can spoil yourself on the wiki to find out some context if something is unclear....
And how do you squish the movies in between?? 👉👈... or are they ripoffs?

At the moment it's like 2 episodes per day for VIP subscription on WeTV but I think maybe it's only 1 episode on Saturdays and Sundays...it started on August 26th...so...time for math, I guess? XD I think the schedule they put out is always only a week ahead...

To be honest I don't know why I still keep watching this. Maybe I hope Mnet will improve? ...Can I just say, if they really have to hit home the battle between the two groups then they should be fair and say from the beginning that it's gonna be 10 people debuting and 5 from each group. Then I have absolutely no qualms in them battling it out between G and K. Like sure, go ahead. That would actually be an interesting concept. But like this we all know there will be more Korean contestants in the end group. The whole battling thing is just for show at this point...
And I agree with most comments in this section, that there were some performances in the 1 vs 1 where G group definitely should have won (or at least some members should have won). Also as a Jiwoong fan I do have to say, do I appreciate his fan service? Yes. Do I think he needed to pull it with his mouth and sacrifice his line? No. Will I still vote for him? Yes. I feel like everyone has like 1-2 people in this show they will just defend even if they do stupid stuff. I honestly admit he is that person for me. He has to do real bad for me not to vote for him. Which hasn't happened yet. But I honestly stand by and admit my choice is biased in that regard.

I mean I would get it if they would make a 10 member group and make it necessary that 5 from each group. In such cases I would get it but since they are building one group with mixed members depending solely on voting I don't get it.
Ok, so let me just say I did not watch the Girls Planet show but I did read a lot of the criticism for it, especially in regards to Korea making itself better than the trainees from other countries. Just from what I heard from that, I do have to say Boys Planet is doing okay so far. I think there is a light incline towards the Korean trainees but so far it is to a degree that I personally deem ok. The things which bug me for now: - I agree with people saying that the shows seems to be focusing on like 20-30 trainees only. - Why do they highlight the battle between both groups so much. As some said in the comments aren't they planning to make 1 group? I do think you notice that they are trying to make it fairer in regards to what was critizised in the previous season...but we will have to see. I'm curious how it's gonna develop.

I think it's because the BL community is pretty big and it will give the show another boost if they can get some fans to watch. So I think from a marketing perspective it's not a bad decision. To be honest, while I understand what others are saying about him not being as "wow" as others, I do have to say he seems pretty stable in what he is doing, so I totally support him. I do think he definitely deserved the rating he got in the first test. I do love that even his friend says "there has to be a character like me" and "it's a concept" XD
