Hmmm, interesting episode…. Why do I get the feeling that Ryo actually likes Sota, but Sota doesn’t really like her like that (but is too much of a ‘nice guy’ to refuse when she asked). And she clocked that. But when Ryo realized that Natsuki liked Sota, she decided to step back. Because she does love her brother dearly. Even though she mentioned to Natsuki that Sota was not her boyfriend but just a friend, there seemed to be something off about it.

I actually understand Mayama quite a bit. As someone who has a low self esteem myself, I can empathise with Mayama. It is not him being dense. It is just that his natural state of self worth is very low. Someone confessing to me back in the day would have probably made me think it was a prank as well. What’s charming about Asamiya is that he doesn’t beat around the bush. He likes Mayama and is not afraid to be bold about it.

I thought the same too. Sota is used to this ‘nice boy’ label thrust upon him by the world and has been going along with those expectations. Perhaps his relationship with Rio is something that fits those expectations as well. And then comes along our precious boy Natsuki, who feels things deeply - he laughs, cries, worries, and loves deeply. I feel like Sota will slowly change. I am really hoping for a happy ending for Sota and Natsuki as well! 🤞
