Can someone please explain to me what was going on in Episode 6 with Hua Yong in the hotel room.? I am so clueless what he was doing with those alphas. I get he is partnered with Shen doing something for X Holdings but I don’t get what it is and I don’t know why it involves whips?!! I also know he is playing Sheng Shao You for a fool, but I am so confused.

I am in complete agreement with your assessment. I had high hopes for this drama but I find Prince Kanin an unlikable and a plot that keeps changing but for no good reason. It has been a disappointment for me.
I am finding this series very hard to follow. I get the ABO universe and it makes sense to me somewhat but I can’t figure out these characters and their motivations. If someone could point me to a character descriptor that would help - anything I have read just makes me more confused. I am interested in who they are and what motivates them. I am lost.
There is a song lyric that says there is beauty in the breakdown. I know a breakdown is coming for Chi Cheng and Wu Qi Qiong and I don’t think it’s going to be beautiful. I think it’s going to gut wrenching because they have fallen so hard for each other. Stories usually have this type of crisis arch which leads to redemption. I am just hoping it’s not a long period of sorrow. 🙁
Mild has the biggest case of trout lips going, every time I see him, it’s hard for me to take him seriously as the main love interest for Knight. I am simply mesmerized by Knights lips 👄 even though I know this story is just total bunk. I can’t stop looking at them. The same thing happened to me with My Stubborn and Boat (Sorn’s) damn eyes and hair and tight pants. I’m shallow. I watched an entire series because of it!
The drought is over for anyone who has watched Chinese BLs over the years. This is groundbreaking, earthshaking, and the genie cannot go back in the bottle after this. Episode 12 was incredible. The commitment of the actors for how well the relationship scenes were executed and the director for making it right (the behind the scenes shows how they worked at perfecting their reunion). It was so damn good.
I am ranking it really low of my current viewing. It started off really great but fizzled over time. There are. such good series out right now….Revenged Love, Reset, Pit Babe 2, Depth of Field, ABO Desire…I could go on. Give it a try though….I have to say, some series take time to catch on. I will finish this but its not been my favourite.
