Jilan

Just watched the teaser and my eyes are teary, thousands of years ago and mere slave rose to Empress dowager revered by all and rules a realm, Then, many of us today are no different. Hopefully, we will all find our way to our destiny along this journey.

tou ba yu literally let her be almost r+p'd by a old man for having an political advantage, no matter how he protects her in later eps doesn't out do it for me. he just watched from outside. really toxic

isnt the voice of li changle in the princess wei young, and li qing yue in fued same?

it's very sad 😔 i cant see her more works, 😢 Such a magnificent facecard and such refined acting, it is visual treat to watch her paired with high productions, just sad, wish her best, take care.

guys did u see the aunt-neice empress poster released for yangmi's birthday?!! finally I see a different colour palette in costumes, it's very earthy and serious.

Tilan??? why is the synopsis sound like a arc from novoland: pearl eclipse!? can anybody bring light to me?

Same old story made for kids, but the leads really held the film on their shoulders, nothing unpredictable, sort of classic story but on low budget and high acting skilled actors, its like the actor did acting for more than they might been have paid for.

guys who watched it, where can I watch it?

any recommendation like this drama??! im watching siren kiss, I need more

I don't recommend, after reaching ep 26 i realised I could have used 2x playback speed to watch it 🥲, since then im watching with 2x playback speed to cover my guilt of wasting time, now i feel im achieving something 😂.

it's been so long since I genuinely await episode release while it airs, im growing impatient 🙃. Han Seola has charmed me too...

Thought Nan yan had possible reverse harem, turns out her mom had it and not her

currently at ep 32, half of the custome and set is borrowed from fox spirit matchmaker yuehong production. beginning was promising but now I feel editing and direction can be done better by an amateur, than these crew. over qualified actors of shallow script and shabby writing. linghe and Jing tian act for 1000s of dollars while the series paid them 2 dollars. 🫡😂

They don't do this type of direction anymore. a artistic perspective. it gives a clean and neat feeling. I personally think writing everyday plot while still weaving main plot into it is harder as a writer. because writing big impactful chaotic scenes as easier. if your attention span isnt spoiled by media, then Im sure you will enjoy it. I prefer to watch it after work in the evening or night. for a relaxing watch.

not heavy, just sufficient TL.

It's very interesting, and I'm getting impatient waiting for the next episodes to air. I guess that's the charm of watching an ongoing drama. It has started influencing me so much in my everyday life that I’ve begun keeping a poker face like Seol A, and I often catch myself daydreaming about the plot.

how the hell did they convince Jing tian, play this lousy script? im surprised, just on how poorly executed and directed this drama is, they keep spinning yarn, and low effort plots and it was good at the beginning

it's had my attention for first 9 Ep, then i found myself drfitng from 10 to 13 Ep. it finally picked up in 14, but the poor direction and shallow writing is bothering me, currently in Ep 20. let's see how things will turn out

When I started watching this, the direction felt oddly familiar, like I’d seen it before. Then around Episodes 4–5, I heard a BGM that instantly clicked—it was from Novoland: Tribes and empire, Storm of Prophecy. That’s when it all made sense: the excellent direction and the music.

Hard to digest for some, but reality is far worse 😅
