They all use mandarin. There are a lot of regions in China so when they speak mandarin, some of them have an accent. To mask the accent, they use dubbing on dramas. However, I think the biggest reason for using dubbing is because it's cheaper. A lot of dramas are shot at the same time so there are of lot of noises on set. So they use dubbing to record the voice in post production. However, asking the actor himself cost a lot so using professional dubbers are cheaper.
Another reason can explain the use of dubbing. It's because some actors voices doesn't match with the character played.

It's true that less dramas reached 10k since October... but I think it's not the only reason. Compared to early 2023, Youku didn't air a lot of dramas after October so of course fewer dramas reached 10k.

Yeah you're right, I will wait and see how the score is evolving and adjust when I can see a clear tendency. But with what I see, I can tell you for sure it didn't change a lot. I still believe it's harder for an iQiyi drama to reach 10k than Youku because they don't evaluate in the same way...
For me, reaching 10k in Youku is easier than reaching 10k in iQiyi. And reaching 10k in iQiyi is easier than reaching 33k in Tencent...

She filmed this drama in early 2023. It was before the time she gained popularity. I think this drama is her last short drama because after the airing of WIFTY and EF, she only acted in "long" dramas. Unfortunarly, they are supporting roles...
