The movie is the content of the first two episodes of the series. Names are partly different, so are parts of the story. I haven't read the book yet, but I read here that the series is closer to the book.

To be honest this is not the best, but it is not bad. There is so much to watch and I wouldn't keep watching if it wasn't that short. Mainly watching for the visuals of Yoon Jun Won.

If you liked this movie and haven't seen it yet I highly recommending to watch The Guest k-drama. It's unfortunately not on Netflix anymore, but I am sure you can find it at the usual places.

Try to see Love in the Big City, that is the best for me, but this comes second.

It’s both based on the same novel. The movie covers ep. 1 and 2 of the series.

The movie tells the story of ep. 1 and 2. Some is the same, some similar and some totally different. Also the atmosphere of the movie is completely different. Both versions are excellent 👌, I personally would recommend the movie first. I watched the series on Monday and the movie tonight (European premiere at Korean film festival in Frankfurt.)

I was a bit disappointed that Mi Ae completely disappeared later in the drama.

One of the best Korean dramas I have watched for a while. I would not categorise it as BL as a lot of others here have before, but as a LGBTQ+ show. And even for western standards it is strong serious stuff. Has anyone here read the novel it is based on? I would love to know if they are very similar or different and especially if the end is the same in both. Tonight I will watch the film version at the cinema, which seems to cover only a part of the novel.

The story is set in 2012. People wouldn't have cared then. People are oversensitive these days and cancel culture has never been that strong as well.
