The vast majority of Thai BL are not good, but we watch them anyway. There are obviously exceptions, but let’s not delude ourselves

When you say you love payback, are you talking about this series or have you read the novels or manhwa?? He’s not exploiting Sun at all. They are both using each other for their own means and they are both aware and ok with that. That’s not exploitation.

Huh?? The fat men aren’t actually gay. They’re straight, but use their power to get sexual favours from ALL the actors (male or female) in the industry who want a sponsor. What they’re doing isn’t about sexual orientation, rather a power dynamic. The actors aren’t even all gay. Sunny and Sun are, but the others arent. Most of the named characters are actually totally straight but they are playing the game. The ‘niece’ is another actor being pimped out to increase her chances (and her ‘uncle’s’) of getting a role and influence. Sunny is a ‘materialistic gay man’, but Sun isn’t, so why are you getting pissy about stereotypes?? Are there even any transgender characters in this??

The pimping out….it is 1000x worse in the novel. It’s a brutal sex ring. Brutal gang rapes, brutal sexual sadism. I don’t think this will be included in the series as it’s really horrific and they’ve already tamed down some aspects from the novel

This is insanely good!! I love the who,e concept. It seems common that some actors get so immersed into their role and this must be true for some straight BL actors. There was a Korean BL with a similar storyline and the famous Korean actor said he got like that and his wife confirmed it but said she wasn’t worried because he;s like that in every role he plays.

It is absolutely astounding. I am truly in awe of Fourth’s acting. Never watched one of their dramas before, but I was seriously shocked at how amazing they are. As you know, there are a lot of mid and not good actors, but they have huge a following, so they keep getting cast. Also, loads of baaaaaad Thai dramas, yet they have a popular cp and rated high. This is NOT that. This is cinema. Truly. I have no negatives other than I want 16 episodes lol.
