How does me expressing my perspective bring it down? If you disagree that’s fine, but my point of view is no less valid that a more approving one, and you don’t get to silence other members for holding different opinions. There’s nothing to stop you scrolling past dissenting views.

Last episode I dubbed Duang the annoying cocker spaniel. This episode, for the first time in my life I want to hit a dog. As someone who doesn’t like inanity or small-talk I keep hitting pause. Qin can’t do that. He can only walk away or issue threats. I’m 100 % on Qin’s side. Duang is a pain. Even if he’s a sweetheart, he’s a nightmare to be around.

Hmm, the “gay for you” trope seems homophobic to me. It feels like it’s suffixed with “but it’s okay, because I’m not gay”. It was the biggest irritant for me in Revenged Love. I’m also thoroughly fed up with the bad communication trope.

I may be developing type two diabetes.

This is one reason why I’m not a fan of these locked in pairings. If you get one actor that’s just naturally talented, like Joong, it’s frustrating when their partner needs serious upskilling. Dunk’s gorgeous, but he’s just not Joong’s equal. Think of all the other skilled actors who’ve been paired with guy’s streets behind. It can be learned. Earth in Fourever You season one was abysmal, but he nailed it in season two. Pond wasn’t limited to working with him though, and we got Reset with Peterpan. I wish the pairings were all that flexible.

I know. I suspect the Heart Killers director worked out how to get the best out of him, where nobody else has.

It bored me, until they started going properly into why Sorn was so ephebiphobic. Before that it was “annoying nonsensical young man rubs uglies with beautiful but distant tall guy”, and very little else. There was zero real development of character or story. I might have enjoyed it more if Jun wasn’t such an idiot, but even in the extra episodes he irritated me. I hope Oat’s next characters are more likeable, because between that and his real life flub life seems to be imitating art, and I don’t like disliking actors. I’m aware different people get different things from watching the same productions though. I wasn’t meaning to imply it was universally dull.

I dropped it. I was finding the discussion more entertaining than the series, which was a bad sign. I’ll keep reading this so if it goes beyond a string of NC beads I can pick it up again. Smut just isn’t enough to hold my interest. I had the same problem with My Stubborn. I only ended up watching the ending because of the discussion indicating some character development 🙃

Duang is giving serious cocker spaniel vibes. Slightly annoying spaniel. I hope he chills out a bit soon.

😆 So true. I have to say I’m struggling to finish watching it though. The writing and direction are abysmal.
