is it true that in the novel, joo admired him for 15 years and was literally obsessed with every detail.??
No. He kept track. He started out thinking he was a happy, socially accepted success, but found over time that he was shunned, bullied, and maligned. At one stage he exposed someone who slandered and framed him. He came to admire him professionally, and personally, over time, mostly recently, observing him, then working with him. That turned into caring, despite his wish to hate him.
for evyeone complaining about the age gap: why do you even bother watching it? the description is quite clear
Yeah, the younger of the two is in his 20s. At his age I had an older partner too. The only way this would be a problem is if the older person was a creep of some sort, because in your 20s you can still be pretty naïve, as this kid is. so far there’s no sign of the love interest being a creep.
I’m on the second to last episode, and the espionage plot is where it should have been in episode four. The pacing of this drama has all the regulation and consistency of a detached Catherine wheel. Should I bother to finish? I’m just getting annoyed at this stage, which is nuts, given I’m near the finish line. It’s plotted as though it’s a 16 episode series, instead of being half that.

It’s also fine for me on Gagaoolala. Try a reboot.
