You know, sometimes Iām really glad that I donāt read the novels because then I can enjoy the show on its own for what it is. Like Iām quite enjoying the legend of only without being a normal reader.
So somebody must have messed up on the timeline somewhere if thatās the case because 1) one why would they called…
You also explain something else to me because I'm kind of confused I feel like there's a lot of late discrepancies between the shows like I never completed mirror tale of the Twin Cities like I remember Bai Ying having to take it apart in some kind of ceremony to be eligible to marry into the royal family which is similar to the stargazing ceremony in the longest promise. But in the longest promise no one had to remain pure and no one inherited some kind of power. So I'm like I don't feel like it's consistent to make sense does that make sense cuz I remember the female lead in mirror tale of the Twin Cities had to remain pure of heart or something in order for it to hurt it inherit the power of the Earth to be eligible to marry into the Imperial family and when she fell in love with someone else even if she didn't realize it she didn't inherit that power but that whole aspect was never in the longest promise so I feel like they just completely forgot about certain aspects in the show that this is supposed to be a prequel to. Also the other thing that confused me is because at the end of the longest promise the Merfolk had retreated to Bilou Sea for shelter. So Sumo built a free person at the end of the longest promise does it explain in Mirror of the Twin Cities how even became a slave? I feel like they're just a lot of discrepancies between when the longest promise ended and when mirror tale of the twin cities began
Not a fan of ambiguous endings and hate that many Cdrama directors tend to go this route. However, after doing…
So somebody must have messed up on the timeline somewhere if thatās the case because 1) one why would they called her daughter Bai Ying when the female lead in the longest promise is not related to the Bai family at all? 2) we know that a woman from the Bai is supposed to marry the crown prince isnāt the crown prince in Mirror Tale of Twin Citied, the current child of Shi Yi who is Shi Yings half brother, so that would make them cousins, iām surprised that even though these things happen in history that that would get past censorship lol. Unless between the events of the end of the longest promise and mirror tale of Twin Cities, Shi Yings brother is no longer ruling which is weird like why wouldnāt he be the current ruling emperor when thatās how they left it at the end of the longest promise. So somebodyās messed up the timeline somewhere because it doesnāt make sense šµāš«. Also, like I was thinking about the end of the novel because apparently in the novel Shi Yi is the one that dies, and Shi Ying ends up, taking over is regent but then Iām like that still doesnāt make sense because thatās still wouldnāt make the female lead in mirror tale of Twin Cities part of the Bai Familyā¦.. Iām so confused can somebody help me make sense of this? I also never finished mirror tale of Twin Cities I got bored lol

I was a bit confused, because I was thinking by Yang wouldnāt be that be the daughter of or the descendant of Shi Yi and Bai Tell Xue Ying? because they had a child at the end
Getting out of the wedding before would implicate her family and the entire Crimson Clan because the Azure Clan…
I would not say that the death of her parents were her fault I mean she told them to wait until she could come back with an explanation about Yuan, before she could come back her parents kind of jumped the gun.
Getting out of the wedding before would implicate her family and the entire Crimson Clan because the Azure Clan…
Also donāt forget that even after he said she couldāve written him itās like yeah because you were turned all the letters to you an open so even if she written to you, you never wouldāve read it lol
Much has been said about the ending already so I'm just adding my 2Ā¢. They made the ending so that you can interpret…
Thing is like the novel had a happy ending so the thing that pisses me off is like why canāt they follow the direction of the novel and give yours a happy ending like the novel has. I mean yes I think itās open to interpretation and I took it to be a happy ending. Since the novel had a happy ending, why couldnāt they do that instead of leaving it open for peoples interpretation
So I tried to watch this one because itās a sequel to The Longest Promise which is currently airing. I was interested…
Remember when this drama came out as I said in my above comment and I was like really looking forward to it because I love Xianxia dramas Lego far enough to the part where they reunite or something and I stopped watching at that point I think I stopped watching with the intention of going back once more episodes were released and then as so often happens when I do that I just got bored and lost interest lol. But now that I'm watching the longest promise and I was like hey I know this mirror Taylor Twin Cities is a sequel but I was like is it Sumo story I couldn't even remember the name of the male lead so I was like I should go see if this is Sumo story and then I find out it is and I'm so disappointed because I'm like knowing about his tragic backstory makes me want to watch this now but I'm also because I lost interest originally and I've been reading people's comments about how bad it is and I'm like okay I probably won't watch this now or try to watch this again LOL
I remember when this drama came out and I really wanted to like it and I just could not for the life of me get into it. This drama is so forgettable that I couldn't even remember if it was about Sumo LOL. Since I am currently watching the longest promise and seeing sumo's backstory and how tragic it was I thought I'd come back to this drama and maybe try again but seeing everybody's comments about how bad it is just makes me think I'll pass LOL
Did you watch ep 12 ? A hidden prophecy is revealed and says that the fallen god doesn't care for the 3 realms…
I think back from the brink had the least amount of misunderstandings in Xianxia that Iāve ever seen. Thereās literally only one, and although it took longer for her to heal for her feelings, the misunderstanding itself didnāt actually last for long.
Just saw this hope its true.
