So somebody must have messed up on the timeline somewhere if that’s the case because 1) one why would they called her daughter Bai Ying when the female lead in the longest promise is not related to the Bai family at all? 2) we know that a woman from the Bai is supposed to marry the crown prince isn’t the crown prince in Mirror Tale of Twin Citied, the current child of Shi Yi who is Shi Yings half brother, so that would make them cousins, i’m surprised that even though these things happen in history that that would get past censorship lol. Unless between the events of the end of the longest promise and mirror tale of Twin Cities, Shi Yings brother is no longer ruling which is weird like why wouldn’t he be the current ruling emperor when that’s how they left it at the end of the longest promise. So somebody’s messed up the timeline somewhere because it doesn’t make sense 😵‍💫. Also, like I was thinking about the end of the novel because apparently in the novel Shi Yi is the one that dies, and Shi Ying ends up, taking over is regent but then I’m like that still doesn’t make sense because that’s still wouldn’t make the female lead in mirror tale of Twin Cities part of the Bai Family….. I’m so confused can somebody help me make sense of this? I also never finished mirror tale of Twin Cities I got bored lol

I haven’t watched a good vampire show in forever, I know there’s the Korean show heartbeat but it’s on prime, so I can’t watch it currently

I was a bit confused, because I was thinking by Yang wouldn’t be that be the daughter of or the descendant of Shi Yi and Bai Tell Xue Ying? because they had a child at the end

I would not say that the death of her parents were her fault I mean she told them to wait until she could come back with an explanation about Yuan, before she could come back her parents kind of jumped the gun.

I never red the novel either I accidentally stumbled across the ending when I came across a post about The Longest Promise on Reddit

Also don’t forget that even after he said she could’ve written him it’s like yeah because you were turned all the letters to you an open so even if she written to you, you never would’ve read it lol

Thing is like the novel had a happy ending so the thing that pisses me off is like why can’t they follow the direction of the novel and give yours a happy ending like the novel has. I mean yes I think it’s open to interpretation and I took it to be a happy ending. Since the novel had a happy ending, why couldn’t they do that instead of leaving it open for peoples interpretation

Remember when this drama came out as I said in my above comment and I was like really looking forward to it because I love Xianxia dramas Lego far enough to the part where they reunite or something and I stopped watching at that point I think I stopped watching with the intention of going back once more episodes were released and then as so often happens when I do that I just got bored and lost interest lol. But now that I'm watching the longest promise and I was like hey I know this mirror Taylor Twin Cities is a sequel but I was like is it Sumo story I couldn't even remember the name of the male lead so I was like I should go see if this is Sumo story and then I find out it is and I'm so disappointed because I'm like knowing about his tragic backstory makes me want to watch this now but I'm also because I lost interest originally and I've been reading people's comments about how bad it is and I'm like okay I probably won't watch this now or try to watch this again LOL

I remember when this drama came out and I really wanted to like it and I just could not for the life of me get into it. This drama is so forgettable that I couldn't even remember if it was about Sumo LOL. Since I am currently watching the longest promise and seeing sumo's backstory and how tragic it was I thought I'd come back to this drama and maybe try again but seeing everybody's comments about how bad it is just makes me think I'll pass LOL

I think back from the brink had the least amount of misunderstandings in Xianxia that I’ve ever seen. There’s literally only one, and although it took longer for her to heal for her feelings, the misunderstanding itself didn’t actually last for long.

I honestly didn’t know who he was so I had to like look to see if I’d seen any drama he was in.

The ending from Back from the brink was also changed,the ending in the novel the female lead sacrifices herself and then is reborn 15 years later. But in the TV show she wasn't Reborn it's kind of confusing but her spiritual power dissolved and so when she died she ended up spending the next 15 years Gathering her spiritual power to be Resurrected. Also since the story of Kunning Palace was postponed at the last minute who knows how they're going to change the story.

Actually, that’s not true. He’s had a kissing scenes in other dramas under the power, the blue whisper, forever, and ever.

And she mentioned this I kind of side because I was like with only 12 episodes and we’re already four in with her. Just get dang to know him I was like it seems like to be really complicated to have to find out why they were murdered or why she was murdered and he’s having attempted murder.

I think the last drama I saw her and was cupids kitchen alongside Ethan Ruan? It was OK. I thought she did a pretty good job. Unfortunately I didn’t like any of the rest of of the characters that her costars played everyone that was a jerk to her, including the male lead and I could never understand how she would wanna end up with him lol. in the majority of the mud modern dramas he plays his characters are Aholes lol.

I think I might be a while personally because his drama the outsiders just got an air date and I think it’s soon so I don’t know if they’ll want to release this at the same time as another drama that huge is in.
