I like dramas where basically there’s just the male and female lead and that’s it. It’s so annoying when there’s an annoying, second male lead who won’t take the hint. Also, I think that when she asked him to make thos artefacts she didn’t understand that he had feelings for her at that point so how could she understand that he was giving her those out of love? I think you should read the comments of the majority of the women on here who you supposedly say, are the target audience and read their comments on how much they hate the fact that there’s a third wheel they’d much rather have just the main couple.

I think you can rewatch the show. Basically they were out fighting separately, trying, to clear The area of the darkness created by the negativity in people’s hearts. He was injured, but she wasn’t fighting necessary to save him she also was fighting to save everyone after everybody has been touched by the darkness.

When she goes through the door, Bo Yu Lan just says to her “Ming Xian I’ve been waiting for you for so long. “

Well, I feel that the sisters wouldn’t have answered her questions anyway to be honest. Even when she was trying to get Bo Yu Lan to see JZB they just met her with answers when she tried to question us to why she wouldn’t see him. Even at the end when she was like just a minute he’s just outside. They literally just tossed out lol

Besides, just because he meant to save her life when she asked him what was in it doesn’t give him the right to immobilize her and dump it down her throat

You don’t call him and immobilizing her with magic and forcing her to drink his heart blood blood Alexa against her well after she only asked what was in it is not crossing a line? What he did definitely cross the line lol. Even after she commented that he was just like a little brother to her, and she only saw him as a friend. She is evil, while it might’ve seemed that she was doing it to protect her son, Ming Yi”s mother had just died in childbirth, her aunt was grieving and I’m sure she was her father. Yet the empress chose to take an infant away from her grieving family members, forcing them to also lose a child. I’m sure she gave her son to Bo Yu Lan to raise, but that doesn’t take away from the fact that she expected everyone to be fine with her, using her power and influence to take their family and be OK with it.

Also it appears like she never once checked up on her son ever? If she had, she would’ve found out from Bo Yu Lan that he was missing? She then could’ve worked with the Jingxi Abyss emperor to train locate him? Although it appears she never looked for him at all. Honestly, she also didn’t treat her adoptive daughter very well either and was abusive to her never really loved her and only ever taught her that her worth came from being useful to her empire. That she had to lie to everyone around her since the disguise of being a boy was placed on her at birth.

I also agree she literally told him she only thought of him as a friend and even at one point although the way I think it’s just how oblivious she is the comment to him how he’d always viewed her as a big sister and she’d always viewed him as a little brother or something along those lines I was like girlfriend 🤦🏻‍♀️😅😅😅.

I have to disagree, I think the leads also actually are very realistic, interactions, and behaviours. They both show how someone who grew up in abusive background. Have their behaviours shaped as well.

Yup, I think it’s funny because everybody is like oh he just helps her without expecting anything in return and I’m like he does expect something in return. He expects her to develop feelings for him lol
