I haven’t read the novel but from reading other comments who have JZB sounds like and ass lol. He looks down on women. Sure the scenes are spicier but even after starting a relationship with the female lead he carries on multiple affairs and relationships with other women. I think someone even he says MY catches him doing something intimate with a maid 🫣. He is also married to the princess for political reasons. Since he has his harem Ming Yi also starts her own male harem at the unfairness lol

When they were talking, she even mentioned him before the friends comment that she views him as a little brother, I thought it was hilarious because after everything he’s done for her, she even commented that he sees an older sister and I was just like 🤦🏻‍♀️. Seriously though she’s made it so clear so many times how she views him. He needs to come back to reality now although I know he’s not going to.

She is not responsible for his actions at all. She has repeatedly been kind, gentle and firm, and trying to show him that she only views him as a friend. She’s repeatedly told him she only views him as a friend even in the latest episode she literally points out that she sees him as a little brother and mentions about him seeing her as an older sister. Obviously, she doesn’t connect the dots that he’s actually doing all this because he has feelings for her and his delusional state. She’s tried to push him away. You know she literally friend zoned him, and he still kept trying to force his presence on her by inviting her out for dinner, JZB showing up and making it all incredibly awkward to the point she was basically like I’m leaving you guys go out for dinner together then later, they tracked her down to a restaurant and wouldn’t let her eat in peace because they kept trying to order food for her and force her to eat it to the point where she just got up and left 😂😂😂😂😂

They don’t think it’s cured. They think the symptoms are just suppressed. Since he was able to use Zushui Trchnique to buy her more time by suppressing the symptoms. It’s reasonable that they would think a similar technique taken directly from his blood might actually work. The only thing they couldn’t explain was her power is coming back.

When is show that I’m like it can’t have been the recipe how would he get a hold of it because it was always on her person or her master had it so how was he able to steal it? It just didn’t make sense. I could see him showing his dad a fake, and then destroying it as a way to manipulate him.

So apparently JZB has a relapse and ends up getting super sick so I think that Buxui end up telling her so that she can try to save him. Apparently it’s at this point that she finds out that STL? Has the core ingredient needed to make the golden dream Millet and tries to manipulate her into marrying him if she wants to save JZB.

The other thing too is, I was like how would she put it together that she might’ve been given the antidote when she saw him destroy it right in front of her and she knew that was the only one or thought she knew.

There are lots of discussions on their backgrounds and why they’re not great at communication. Communication has learned from your parents when you don’t have parents or your parents don’t teach you how to communicate properly or our emotionally supportive and teach you to talk about your emotions then you also won’t know how to properly assess how you feel and talk about your emotions lol communication doesn’t come easily to everyone. It’s a learn skill from those around you. If you grew up in an abusive environment, you don’t learn these skills.😂

She isn’t avoiding him. It’s just now that she has admitted she has feelings for him. She’s a lot more shy, awkward and uncomfortable lol. This is why she could be so decisive when turning down STL, even he points out that if it were JZB standing in front of her, she wouldn’t be nearly as decisive.

See this was one aspect that kind of annoyed me because I was finally like OK we’ll get a proper explanation but then no they were just cryptic lol.

I understand Bo Yu Lan not necessarily having the courage to face JZB, because she did wrong him quite badly, as if it hadn’t been for her, abandoning him he wouldn’t have ended up as a slave being experimented on.

It probably didn’t occur to her to think oh how can I be a descendant when she thinks the empress is her mother? No one’s really given her any reason to refute or doubt that claim so far. I think also she was more single minded in thinking about the cure and saving her life than the fact that she was allowed to enter because of her blood. Well, I can understand Bo Yu Lans sister, not recognizing her own child because she died during childbirth. So she would not have been aware obviously of the events in the same way that Bo Yu Lan was. Somebody pointed out in another comment that the sisters commented that they are basically still there because they have somebody worshipping their portraits. We know that JZB was worshipping his masters portrait, so who was worshipping the sister’s portrait? The real father of Ming Yi.

I’m not surprised because she knows that there was some kind of conflict because MY left? When she was talking to JZB about it and a previous episode she does admit although she doesn’t know what happened causing MY to leave but she feels that there’s no problem that can’t be solved with communication lol

Their goals are opposite he wants to kill MY. Which is why he poisoned her in the first place, but the other guy still has his obsession with her. And doesn’t necessarily want her dead. I think he just wants some separated and hold some more resentment for JZB.
