A good person doesn’t force somebody to take something against their will. He literally immobilized her body and forced her to take it. That’s not being a good person. He literally could’ve just left it there for her and left and allowed her to take it on her own time.

The reason the ring is able to corrupt him is because he’s always been weak. That’s not new. He constantly inflict his presence on the female lead, even after she said, quite clearly that she thinks of him as a little brother and also as a friend. Just say he’s been helping her without expecting anything in return is not true because he obviously expected her develop feelings for him and that’s something in return.
