I haven't even watched it once but the comments are so tempting for episode 25 tell me he gets to know the truth!!!!!
An episode 25 he starts to connect the dots. He does actually admit to himself that that it is Ming Yi who is poisoned not Ming Xian. While he continues through his thought process of connecting the dots though it ends with him thinking Could she be…. And then switches over to another scene. He does acknowledge later that because she’s a habitual liar obviously that she’s not gonna tell the truth easily lol. He then sets out for the rest of the episode to needle her and make her as uncomfortable as possible to try and get us response out of her so she’ll admit the truth. It’s pretty funny.
The thing is if you think about it, I think he’s confusing gratitude with love. I get that Ming Xian was the reason that he wanted to be stronger and that gave him hope. I feel though that he wasn’t really that obsessed and didn’t really care about the female lead much until he saw her draw her bow and then he realized that she was the god of war, I think that it was at that point he started to build a relationship with her in his mind and make himself out to be more important to her and the relationship, then was actually true. This is what stalkers do lol

I know those effects were so awesome. Also, I don’t know what she did with the Pommel? but those things hanging in the air that came out out of. It was really neat.
I saw a spoiler of their conversation at Zhangwei mountain? Obviously since the episode is not out yet, I’m not sure if it’s 100% accurate.
It goes something like this:
JZB: You. You are Ming Xian MY: ….. JZB: If you want to leave, I won’t stop you, think about it carefully because this is the first time and the last time I’ll ask you. Are you Ming Xian? How many people have already watched or rewatch episode 25 multiple times? Not me. 😅 having re-watched it two times. I was planning to start watching blood River, but I can’t. Because he already knew from the very beginning that she was Ming Xian and I never stopped him from pursuing her lol. The thing is I don’t think he truly loves her, but she is his obsession so I don’t think her being from an enemy kingdom matters to him.
I think MY mentions in episode 25 that he severed it, I’m not sure, though if he really did sever it or just blocked it. Since he obviously knew her location because he was there just in time to see. Si Tu Long picking up her unconscious body and carrying it away, how would he know that unless he could feel an echo of her emotional pain?
