OK, I had posted a comment about why Google was calling eng Xian the Crown Prince and was really confused so somebody explained that he was originally the crown prince but their comment stated that he was abandoned because he didn’t have the red or blue veins or something. So they ended up finding a long lost relative that had recently given birth to the female lead and swap the babies and that’s why he was abandoned.. so I’m just curious as to what comment is true well more true

Can anyone who has read the book or the novel explain why her mother who is the empress feels that she has to hide her daughter’s identity behind a male exterior? Because it’s like I feel like that’s not something that could be maintained long-term? Also, if her mother is the empress, does that make her the crown, Prince? I know that Google isn’t really accurate, but when I was googling something about her, I mentioned that the identity of Meng Xian was Crown Prince Meng Xian and now I’m just so confused 😅

I think you misunderstood what I was trying to say not saying that she shouldn’t have had consequences for lying but it doesn’t seem like she lied with malicious intense. She lied out of fear after having witnessed two of the servant of the first wife murdering someone. She told an adult. I think I’m gonna watch the episode yet and her mom was the one who told her to lie. Should she had faced consequences in that life yes. Should innocent people who had nothing to do with that incident have been cursed no. It’s one thing for her to curse the spirits of the people involved, but no, she cursed not the spirits but the entire bloodline as well. So then innocent people who had nothing absolutely nothing to do with the incident were also victims of her curse.
