Your Synopsis is really confusing It doesn’t even sound like the same show because she married her ex-husband when he was a poor scholar against her family wishes pretty sure she’s not a virgin since she was married and they slept in the same bed.

Pretty sure the guy wasn’t drugged in episode one because he knew exactly what he was doing and even was grabbing onto her and calling her dear also for being drugged he woke up pretty suddenly and wasn’t even confused. Also, pretty sure they killed him Later, as her ex mother-in-law and ex sister-in-law were standing in front of a bloody body of a man

I haven’t read the novel but from spoiler comments I’ve read about it. Oh, she’s suffers. She suffers horribly. It actually makes me feel sort of sorry for her to be honest because I feel like what happens to her I don’t feel like anyone really deserves that. I mean, I don’t really consider her evil. Not a very nice person for sure and I think what she’s done is Horrible but what happens to her? I think it’s really sad.

I’m confused they had to kill off Tong Er because the actress went back to school since she’s a high school student so why would they have to kill him off?

Honestly thought it was interesting that he asked her if that's what she really thought. I thought why would you care what she thinks unless you actually suspect that she's your wife and after all the awful things that you did to her why would you have thoughts that she would still admire you in any way you scumbag

The truth is I don't think he really loved her my opinion is that he was just using her to maneuver himself into a more powerful position that once he had a stronger and more powerful backer than he could leave her in the dirt. I think he cared more about what was the fastest and easiest way he could take to get to a better position with higher status which he never been able to do on his own because he comes from a poor family.

Think that he couldn't divorce her without having a good explanation because then that would ruin and taint his reputation. I think once he and his family decided to drug her and set it up to have her reputation ruined to completely get her out of the picture because she was sexually assaulted so she would always be able to come back and say that that she was drugged and that she didn't know that man. The fact that she was perfectly healthy if she suddenly died then that would raise suspicions and an autopsy might have to be performed so yeah I mean I guess he could have said that she took her own life through poison... I think that although they thought it out to ruin her reputation I think actually killing her wasn't very well thought out and was done in a moment of panic especially because the drug didn't work effectively she woke up and then he could hit her
