I didn’t even get that far. I’ve only watched a couple of episodes and I’m like this is painful. I can’t watch anymore.

It’s a taboo topic because the government doesn’t believe it’s real because it’s not something the government can control so therefore they don’t want people to think that they can escape their life being reborn into a different life from what I understand.

The thing is though is it still early episodes so I think that if the romance was here right now it would be too quick. I do agree that their opposing personality traits compliment each other like you said.

Is it just me or their interactions so painful? Like he’s trying to invite her to like talk to him and ask him about who he is or about his family and she’s just like no thanks and I am watching like 🤦🏻‍♀️

I also like him in the more mischievous roles, and felt like the way he portrayed the prince and the legend of AnLe Was that he was kind of bored, as you only saw him have any real emotion once and that was when he cried lol

I’m back confused because none of the character names seem to match the names in the synopsis lol

See, I didn’t like their relationship in the long ballad because he was supposed to look after her but instead he allowed his father‘s personal vendetta against the female lead to interfere with the emperors order to take care of her hence, the reason why she ended up being kidnapped in the first place Lol

It’s not really explained, but I took it as she resurrected after gathering her spiritual power for the last 15 years

Her background doesn’t really need to be explained because she had a heart condition which meant she wouldn’t have survived infancy. The only reason she survived was because his heart protective scale fell into her, which ended up protecting her heart.

It’s not that she was powerful out of nowhere. It’s that her power is sealed because they knew that she would be become a target if people knew that she had his heart protection scale. I think the reason why her power was activated was because she had it such a strong need to protect those around her. I also felt that it wasn’t really her power. It was his power that she had access to because she had the heart protection scale, but that’s just me..

Also, apparently in the novel he does take his own revenge,, she ends up, taking out the heart protection scale and giving it back to him so he will have access to his knowing that when she does, it is going to be a death sentence for her. From what I understand she gives the heart protection scale to a friend of hers, who then gives it to him in the novel, there are no misunderstandings. She tries to give it back to a multiple times and each time he refuses cause he knows she’ll die. She is then reborn 15 years later and that’s when they are reunited. since reincarnation is a taboo, subject in they made the decision to change the ending to make it so that she defeated the bad guy to show that her spiritual energy was disbursed and it would take her 15 years to regather it and be resurrected.

I am glad that they didn’t change any of the main leads because I hate it when they do that and it honestly turns me off the show. I couldn’t go back and watch every night 2 because they ended up changing the mail lead, I probably won’t watch Doulou Continent two because they changed all that actors. I like consistency in the shows that I watch

In order to understand, you have to watch season one first and since it’s been a long time since season one aired, it probably could do a refresher anyway

I really enjoyed it hope there is a part 3 although I have seen many Korean dramas end with this kind open ending this teases the possibility of another season so not holding my breath until I see it lol

Which I find really interesting because I just watched Young An Dream and although it made the male leads dreams of the female lead somewhat ambiguous, especially because what he was dreaming about parallelled what was happening in her current life. He even went to shaman, and the Shaman told him that they had entanglements in their past life, and when he brought the female to see the shaman, they kind of laughed off the idea of reincarnation is nonsense. They talked about it at the end of the show and said something along the lines whether it’s their past life or their current life that they would always be together. So I’m like how could that get past censorship but other dramas about past lives can’t I just don’t get it lol

Probably because that’s a taboo genre 😭

I’ll considering joy of life season 2 has just been released and this hasn’t why aired yet why can’t you watch both?

None of these types of dramas will be airing anytime soon with Chinas sentiments towards these relationships. I think way these types of Dramas will air is by removing any hint of a relationship which to me completely negates the story so then why bother making it at all

I fond the synopsis to be a bit confusing lol
