To be honest I think for this type of drama they're kissing scene was actually one of the better scenes I've seen LOL. I love the fact that she took the initiative to kiss him because normally it's the guy that kisses girl and then she just stands there like a board or a plank and doesnt put in any effort. He at least was kissing her back oh it's kind of I guess natural that he would be if it hesitant since you know he is a virgin 🤣

It will never happen because apparently there was a bunch of plagiarism issues surrounding the show plus the two leads have said they have no interest in going back and revisiting those characters

The legend of Fu Yao’s ending drove me nuts 🤪. the two leads were fighting, because he was trying to bring her back to herself, and just hacking away to each other, and she finally was able to bring herself back. Their friends were running around trying to find them had no idea where they were and then literally faded out and then the next scene was them running around, laughing with him, giving her a piggyback. I remember commenting at the time that I thought they had died and we’re together in the afterlife and somebody was like no they lived and I was like where is the logic?😂

I also read somewhere that apparently both leads said they have absolutely no interest in going back to PA for a second season so that’s basically dead in the water now.

It’s because they’re regulations now that episodes can only be 45 minutes long max

I like things that have more of a romance vibe but there’s quite a few TV series that are historical based more in reality. There is a romcom called royal rumors, which was hilarious. It had one of the healthiest relationships I’ve seen between the female lead and second female lead the emperor and the male lead. Who is the Crown Prince also had a fairly healthy relationship. There was nothing toxic about this drama. There is a historical drama called faith or is it faithful? but it was pretty dark and I had to stop watching it a couple times. It’s basically about a man who runs an embroidery Academy? But he is a predator and uses his position of power and authority to assault the girls under his care. So the female lead was also assaulted and her friend as well. The differences that her friend refused to stand back and do nothing, even though ultimately her fight at the time resulted in the ration of her family, and ultimately her death. So the female lead gathers people around her who’ve been wronged by this guy to bring him down basically. Is not something I would typically watch, but it definitely peaked my interest because I feel it not a topic that they would normally allow to be shown I think? There’s also the sword and the brocade as well as Destined. Oh, and there was also the legend of Zhouhua. They are out there if you just look for them.

I saw this too, which surprised me and also Allen Ren said to look forward to her other drama, the demon hunters, romance live at the IQIYI scream night which I think only aired in December or January hopefully this means that there is some help.

I was super surprised when I saw a segment of Marcus here and he talked about how one of her older dramas might actually be airing soon I think which surprised him so we’ll just have to wait-and-see

It had gotten its distribution license, so there shouldn’t be anything that actually keeps it from airing as far as I know.

I’m sure that was only an excuse they were using to explain why the eight episodes had to be removed. The truth is there is currently a hiatus for any BL related content in China as the Chinese government doesn’t want the stuff to be airing at all since they consider it to be morally wrong.

The longer we have no news the more this comment section will gradually die down until it’s just the other show that’s forgotten about 😭

It’s not that they can’t go out to work. It is just that they can’t go out to work in the public eye because the Chinese government doesn’t want young people to see them, committing illegal acts and follow their example. To be honest, if they were smart, they would see the example that the government has made by other actors such as Fan Bing, Bing and Deng Lun and would think twice about thinking that they can get away with this kind of stuff.
