Chinese laws are quite strict on fantasy releases now. I am assuming this is part of the delay.
I had read a comment from someone else a short while ago, where they explained that apparently the government thought that television was becoming over, saturated with these types of dramas, and had asked producers to slow down how often these dramas come out. I can’t a reliable source because I don’t know where I read it.
I don’t think it fails to be funny I was laughing quite a bit during the episodes. I’m sure the plot has a lot of similarities to others but I don’t think it’s basic. I’m still like to find out how he becomes a demon, and what she has to do with it
Agree! in my opinion when it's about reincarnation plots and past lives, C-dramas do it way better. So far I'm…
But in Chinese dramas, except for one, and only and forever and ever they can’t actually show reincarnation or past lives. The series one, and only and forever and ever was actually two parts of the same book. In the novel, though she actually remembered her past life, but in the drama, it’s actually taboo for shows to show reincarnation so they had to make it seem like she didn’t remember and that’s why there were so many Easter eggs . So I feel like Chinese dramas don’t do it better because they literally go out of their way to try to tell you that it’s not a past life lol.
For example, in back from the brink in the novel, the female lead was supposed to be reincarnated at the end 15 years later but they couldn’t show that so instead they change the ending to her being resurrected instead by gathering her spiritual essence
I will admit, they used to be a ton of interdimensional travel, dramas where somebody would be reborn alternate reality, but apparently somebody explained that because there was like a saturation of those types of dramas the Chinese department that controls what kind of dramas are produced clamped down on this particular genre. So that’s why It will show them as if they’re reincarnated, but then you’ll find out that it’s actually somebody who is transported into a novel, Or like joy of life the very first scene on the first episode is of somebody writing a story or talking about their novel.
Personally, I quite like Dustin with you as well as Hotel Del Luna. I just finished my marriage revenge and I liked the fact that they weren’t exactly reborn as they were from the future but they woke up a year in the past so it’s like they were remembering what hadn’t happened yet rather than being reborn as a baby.

Pretty sure the only other main cast that has released any dramas lately is Vengo GAO, Win-win drama was released in August and the female leads next drama doesn’t even have an announcement date yet.
The guy is too much of a lunatic to be a mastermind...
Interesting how everybody in the family seem to know that he was a lunatic and even the grandmother was like oh you killed again it's like you think they'd walk on eggshells around him more and would be careful on what they say since he could literally kill killing them and has literally killed them for that lol. Like even when he came home and he had blood splatter on his shirt his dad never even blinked it's me wonder if killing runs in the family like maybe his dad's a killer he can just control his urges better. Cuz why else when you
When she made a comment you've killed again pretty sure that she was talking to her grandson. I also think that she was somehow involved with the deaths of the female leads parents and but she took her into the family because of guilt.
1 - It's a drama, not real life2 - It's complex. She's been torn about her feelings for... every episode. Even…
I read in another comment it’s not that she was insane. It’s because she ends up being possessed by the spirit of his dad, or something so it’s his dad that kills him, and it actually isn’t her
There are so many dramas this year that are now never coming out because of the scandals that the actors have been in, so I’m wondering if I should just start down deleting them from my watchlist and if they happen to come out then I’ll put them back on but I’m tired of living in hope lol
Because I just read an article that said, he was originally going to do it as a favor, but they were only willing to pay him around 5 million I think, which is well below what he would currently ask for, so he decided not to take on the project
