To be honest, his character is the type of secondly character that happens in a lot of historical dramas. Usually it’s women, but sometimes it’s men. I honestly didn’t like his character at all, I would’ve been much happier, if after she told him that she only thought of him as a brother that he would’ve accepted gracefully, and then continued being supportive and her friend. But no, he was the Delulu betrayed the Zhenxi army after they were nice enough to save his life was dishonest with her tricking her and then couldn’t seem to understand why she was angry at him at the betrayal of trust. And even after he lived, he threw a hissy fit when he saw them together and came even more delusional, and a servants didn’t help matter saying that he had to live in order to wait for her to come around. I’m like dude what are you doing? Why are you feeding him into delusions when she already said him she only sees him as a brother lol.

I just have a question and I’m kind of confused. Maybe it’ll be explained later or I missed something I’m on episode 17 and they keep talking about the commander-in-chief and how he needs to be replaced because he’s not a very good person or emperor I guess but it’s mostly shown him and his lead concubine being together so yes, I’m kind of confused to what makes him such a bad ruler can somebody clarify?

Just watching a short while ago. I think the one thing I would have liked to have seen was the older brother to actually tell the dad the truth about the swimming incident when they were boys. I mean I guess it's staying true to his character until the very end but instead he just gave the dad some non-specific answer about having work done abroad. I feel like the lamp he had has always been faked just to make his brother feel guilty when it was never his brother's fault in the first place. I don't know I never understood why his stepmom always insisted that the male lead keep it a secret about what happened it was the male lead who had to live with such a traumatic incident and never even got any empathy from his dad.

😂😂😂 oh it's like he slept with her before he was with the other chick didn't know cuz she never said that she was pregnant so I was kind of annoyed that the other trip just left without waiting for his explanation since he obviously was completely shocked LOL

I did understand Your point I just don’t think it was a double standard because he knew first and recognized that she was from the future because he would’ve been able to see her timestamp. Where is she never knew he was from the future at all until the very end, so I think she does have a right to be upset especially because yes he had trauma. His brother tried to kill him, but he still had the loving support from his family, where she never had love and support from her family ever, she she was constantly being shown or told that nobody could ever love her so obviously, even though he shown her and helped her get over her trauma it’s not surprising that she would have a gut reaction like that.

Yeah, it’s called trauma and the fact she grew up with knowing she couldn’t trust anyone constantly filled with self doubt so it’s no wonder that she had a gut reaction. It’s called PTSD. She even said to her mom that she felt like he was only with her out of pity and it was her mom that clarified that no one does for someone as much as he did with her unless they truly love them. So the fact that he knew all this about her and knew the fact that she was from the future, and didn’t say anything of course, it’s going to rattle her trust in him. He was understanding about it, which is why he was willing to leave because he understands that even though he knows he didn’t do anything bad that she will have an abnormal reaction because she has trauma.

Can someone tell me because I might have missed it, I thought somebody mentioned there was a scene where you raw was living in the second male leads home and being treated like a slave washing dishes by his mom and sister? I got to the end and was looking for it and didn't see it I was really looking forward to seeing a scene like that because I was like that would be such good karma LOL

So even though she wasn't his biological daughter because he was around her from a very young age like a baby he acted like he was her natural father and because she didn't know anything different the mom just never said anything. At least that's how I always felt it was

Based off of a webtoon for one. But also she had mentioned it in the very beginning when she mentioned having died once and her life flashing before her eyes he could have used that opportunity to say something but he didn't. So all this time he already knew that she would have been from the future as well because he would have been able to see her timestamp and he still didn't say anything and kept her in the dark. Also she has trauma she was systematically abused mentally physically and emotionally her whole life. So of course she would have an initial emotional reaction which once she thought about and talk to somebody about she went back to him and they talked about it

Which I find kind of confusing because I’m like I thought their souls were supposed to go to hell but obviously the deals he makes these people are being reborn, not going to hell forever lol

Like seriously the families just a den of vipers lol. And the one son, the fact that he was so out of touch in reality when it showed him in that one scene when his mother is confronting him about drunk driving and he’s like I didn’t know it was a person like WTF?! I don’t know what happened although I’m assuming he had hit someone but what does he mean like he didn’t know it was a person you still like hit someone 😂

I also was wondering about her I feel like it’s like very goblin like because in goblin, the lonely and great God God was like a peddler by the side of the road.
