I didnt watch ALP but from TLI, his parents are not together right? :')
Since I never actually saw the ending I have only read comments of what other people that have watched it. itās one of those really broad endings I think where it can be interpreted either way, like the logical ending is that his dad is gone because he sacrificed himself to save Shang Gu. I think I remember reading a comment though where the dadās spirit reappeared in like the last five minutes so it could be interpreted that he came back? But again I never actually saw it, so I just read remember reading a random comment where itās possible that he did come back because she couldāve seen him at the end or something.
The whole point of ancient love poetry was that Shan Guās spirit was basically reincarnated every 10,000 years or something in order to be sacrificed to keep the realms at peace against like a cataclysmic event. The reason why she was born is because the God who supposed to be sacrifice before her decided he didnāt want to be sacrificed and turned to the dark side lol, I think itās one of the reasons why the three male gods tended to be kinda like really relaxed when it came to her behaviour and to actually teaching her about her powers, because they knew that it was pointless since she basically had to die anyway. So the whole premise around the show was the one male God, who, basically at the start was the one teaching her for much of her life or life decided that he didnāt want to actually sacrifice her so he decided to subvert or find a way for her to not be sacrificed. Except he didnāt tell anyone else that thatās what he was doing so they tried to stop him and the mail. xu Kaiās character realized too late that thatās what the other guy was doing and stepped up to continue the work that this other guy had started when he was killed. So I feel that him coming back the end would have erased him sacrificing himself in order to save her.
Does anyone know if this will have a happy ending? I never actually watched the ending of ALP because of the ending. I mean Iāve heard how it ended but I donāt consider a truly happy ending.
We dont have much confirmed date. But I am looking forward toLegend of Shen Li, hoping it will air in January 2024.In…
To be honest, I donāt think prisoner of beauty will be released because another drama of hers romance of the Demone Hunter was supposed to be released before prisoner of of beauty. so until her tax issue is resolved, none of her dramas will be airing.
Well, there must be some truth to it though, because apparently the former employee use the real name and can actually be charged themselves if they filed a fraudulent claim. Well Iām still hoping that itās not true the fact that she came out and didnāt refute any of the rumours and say it wasnāt true and has been silent for so long. I think itās suspicious.
the frustration.. when it looks like such a beautifully made drama with amazing cinematography and an enticing…
Itās because the actress that plays the female lead is being investigated for tax evasion, so while she never actually came out and denied it, and there hasnāt been any recent news, even though itās been a couple months, her silence is suspicious.
1⢠Not a completely happy ending since they only ended up together in another life. 2⢠Story was a waste of…
The thing is I had read a comment from somebody who read the novel who said they didnāt end up in this life together anyway. Because apparently, and then novel, she and the original soul of the male lead didnāt have any romantic feelings for each other at all. So once the soul of the spirit that had been haunting, her was released from his ācurseā she was free to live her current life without being haunted. So I think it makes sense that they couldāve ended up together in another life because that follows more closely with the novel I think.
Chinese laws are quite strict on fantasy releases now. I am assuming this is part of the delay.
I had read a comment from someone else a short while ago, where they explained that apparently the government thought that television was becoming over, saturated with these types of dramas, and had asked producers to slow down how often these dramas come out. I canāt a reliable source because I donāt know where I read it.
I donāt think it fails to be funny I was laughing quite a bit during the episodes. Iām sure the plot has a lot of similarities to others but I donāt think itās basic. Iām still like to find out how he becomes a demon, and what she has to do with it
Agree! in my opinion when it's about reincarnation plots and past lives, C-dramas do it way better. So far I'm…
But in Chinese dramas, except for one, and only and forever and ever they canāt actually show reincarnation or past lives. The series one, and only and forever and ever was actually two parts of the same book. In the novel, though she actually remembered her past life, but in the drama, itās actually taboo for shows to show reincarnation so they had to make it seem like she didnāt remember and thatās why there were so many Easter eggs . So I feel like Chinese dramas donāt do it better because they literally go out of their way to try to tell you that itās not a past life lol.
For example, in back from the brink in the novel, the female lead was supposed to be reincarnated at the end 15 years later but they couldnāt show that so instead they change the ending to her being resurrected instead by gathering her spiritual essence
I will admit, they used to be a ton of interdimensional travel, dramas where somebody would be reborn alternate reality, but apparently somebody explained that because there was like a saturation of those types of dramas the Chinese department that controls what kind of dramas are produced clamped down on this particular genre. So thatās why It will show them as if theyāre reincarnated, but then youāll find out that itās actually somebody who is transported into a novel, Or like joy of life the very first scene on the first episode is of somebody writing a story or talking about their novel.
Personally, I quite like Dustin with you as well as Hotel Del Luna. I just finished my marriage revenge and I liked the fact that they werenāt exactly reborn as they were from the future but they woke up a year in the past so itās like they were remembering what hadnāt happened yet rather than being reborn as a baby.

Pretty sure the only other main cast that has released any dramas lately is Vengo GAO, Win-win drama was released in August and the female leads next drama doesnāt even have an announcement date yet.
The guy is too much of a lunatic to be a mastermind...
Interesting how everybody in the family seem to know that he was a lunatic and even the grandmother was like oh you killed again it's like you think they'd walk on eggshells around him more and would be careful on what they say since he could literally kill killing them and has literally killed them for that lol. Like even when he came home and he had blood splatter on his shirt his dad never even blinked it's me wonder if killing runs in the family like maybe his dad's a killer he can just control his urges better. Cuz why else when you
When she made a comment you've killed again pretty sure that she was talking to her grandson. I also think that she was somehow involved with the deaths of the female leads parents and but she took her into the family because of guilt.
