I haven’t gotten that far yet, but it made me really sad when he was talking about the fact that one of the reasons why he never asked for anything after he came back from the village was because he was so terrified of being sent away again and my heart just hurt for him 😢

Because he was using her and the connections she had to her ex boyfriend’s family, he should’ve been honest from the get-go because of his actions act and Someone else sabotaging her reputation is now tarnished, even she makes the choice to be transferred in order to hopefully never see him again. She’s also demoted.

I started watching this after seeing a clip on Facebook when her mother and her ex's family Blind Side her with the wedding and they get into that explosive argument and the mom slaps the female lead. In all serious though the mother is so insufferable that I can't stomach watching the drama and she's one of the few parents that I outright hate for the amount of grief that she's caused in her daughter's life without showing a hint of remorse or acknowledgment of her wrongdoings when she meddles her kids lives and makes their situation even worse. I love Xu Kai and Yang Zi why I started watching this drama even though I don't normally watch very many modern dramas but I just can't in all honesty stomach the mother so I'm dropping this

Well, this might be true, but when her daughter repeatedly tells her they’re broken up and without even finding out the reason as to why they’re broken up or if there was an issue, she goes behind her daughters back anyway repeatedly, and only ends up making the situation worse. I can understand wanting what’s best for your child, but when you know the family is a bunch of snobs and not only insulting you, your daughter and your family in front of you Do you not think that even if they’re married and they’re not not living with his family that they wouldn’t treat her like crap when she’s around them?

I honestly find her mom completely and sufferable the fact that she stated she wanted to cut ties with her daughter smacked her and then tells everyone that her daughter was the one who cut ties with her. I really hope somebody gives her the smack down at some point..

she is honestly insufferable, she just doesn’t so far take responsibility for her actions like she was the one who told her daughter that if she walks away, she won’t consider her her daughter anymore and then smacked her. Then in front of the grandma, she blamed her daughter and said it was her daughter who wanted to cut ties with her. It’s like no ma’am you said it first! 😡. She talked about her daughter, wanting to be happy, but then repeatedly went behind her daughters back and meddled with things that she knew nothing about and then always made things worse and then refused to acknowledge that they were worse because of her.

I just decided that I'm just going to take all these dramas that are now on Hiatus off my to watch list if they do come out later then I'll read them

I recently saw post on Twitter of this was in the announcement lineup for 2024 or something, and I was really surprised as there hasn’t been any news at all About her investigation and whether it’s been concluded. I have gone to her Weibo which is still up, but nothing has been posted recently

Watched a segment of Marcus here and he did mention that I guess people have been asking him for news and that he hadn't heard anything but he would definitely update once he hears anything else about the show

I’m not talking about the mail lead though I’m talking about Ajiang.

So kind of really annoyed at the second male lead he hears a female lead has been framed for murder instead of like trying to reach out to the mail and give him a warning. He just tries to act by himself and then gets caught. I don’t know what it is like. He’s comes off his being really smart, but then he doesn’t act like it and he’s impulsive aggravating..

Because it wasn’t a soul switch, he just swapped their faces lol

They are completely different genres though because in Blossom is a historical where this is a Xianxia so they can’t really compare…

Maybe because she didn’t know that was her father? As he had been sealed away before she was born and her mother died shortly after her birth. Her mentor or master had never explained who her father was so how would she know?

I also watched a few minutes of the review today before I turned it off bu, she usually doesn’t have very good things to say about Xianxia dramas tbh.

One thing that I I really liked about the beauty inside was the unique way that it chose to show different forms of love and would someone be able to accept one day and your partner was a old when it comes to having a partner with a unique disorder. With China's current sentiments towards some things I wonder how they will explore it or if they'll explore it at all.

I think that’s the problem though is they always have to just shove it in your face the parallel world aren’t real lol. I was watching drama called literally parallel worlds with NiNi and Bai Yu? And not only did they have an acknowledgement at the beginning of each episode about how the story is fake, but then they had scenes where they randomly inserted someone who was pretty much telling a story to somebody else. Eventually got tired of it and just stopped watching.

the other male lead I think had a lot of backlash and negative attention for taking this role so he decided not to return. Which would have been fine if the premise wasn't that only your soul mate or perfect match can allow him to see color. I haven't watched it but from what I had heard it focused less on romance and more on the search for his mother
