Today it was finally revealed that GiChan only knows that Catherine is the evil bitches English name and has no idea she stole it from TaeO’s sister. Your analysis of GiChan’s character as more complex than a standard villain is very accurate and the actor plays it perfectly. I think she and Theo would make a good couple but I doubt that will happen. Especially after today’s episode when she reminded him that he said he would wait for her.

wow, so this was the plan now that the end is near. No shock that Gi Chan has terminal cancer. They kind of set it up for us. I posted after yesterdays episode that he needs to turn himself in. I guess the writers had the same idea. I’m guessing that they won’t deal with SeRi till the very end. Also, it looks like Jae In has given Do Yun hope. JiHo is still calling Jae In mom, why?

Excellent analysis and I feel the same as you. While the things you mentioned above that GiChan did are too evil to be forgiven, seeing him take off the mask as he realizes that his mother taught him to value the wrong things. It’s like the light bulb went on, albeit too late. I’d like to see him earnestly apologize to Jae In and turn himself into the authorities and turn on Se Ri. Of course that won’t happen, but anything short of that won’t allow him a redemption arc in my book.

OMG, I shouted at the screen “Don’t drink that!!” He’s not that stupid. I loved that scene when Tae Oh told her that It’s always been about her and how he finds her disgusting and not to pretend it’s about Ji Ho. He’s definitely got her number. He would never be fooled by her lies like stupid GiChan did.

Totally agree. Great scene. Both actors were wonderful. Less important: That purple suit is so ugly and distracting and needs to be thrown out!

Here’s another possibility. Right as SeRi is about to kill Jae In, Gi Chan steps in and sacrifices himself to save her. He dies, Do Yun rushes in with the police and SeRi is arrested for murder. Her other crimes are revealed and she gets life in prison.

Your observations are spot on. Especially about GiChan. I agree with you that he has finally recognized why he is so flawed and how he was taught that money “Tune Tune” (phonetically what I hear) equals happiness. His conversation with his mother about not being happy was the first time in 93 episodes that I felt bad for him. That being said, he deserved to be punished. I think he should live and serve a long prison sentence and spend his life repenting for all his sins.

I do feel bad for NaRa. Although she is a shallow, annoying young woman, she didn’t seem as evil as the rest of her family except that she was not supportive to Jae In through her horrible situation in that family. She truly seems remorseful though and she should break away from that toxic family and get counseling.

Well SeRi and GiChan will not be around much longer to raise him. They will be in prison. Parents like his are toxic and the whole family is dysfunctional. I do agree that taking him out of the country could be traumatic after he loses his parents. I feel like he could use someone comforting like Jae In who was a positive presence in good life. There really isn’t a good answer for this.

Even though I’ve watched every episode, I’m not sure I understand exactly what the duplicate contract with H &;K means and how it benefits SeRi and Gi Chan. Can someone explain it?

Episode 92 was another great one. I keep checking how many minutes are left. I wish they were 45 minutes long.
