We missed out on that raw, unguarded intimacy!

I couldn't agree more! Splendid Match is really one of the very few dramas that actually took the time to show us their post-get-together sweet phase, and I wanted that so badly for Against the Current. I mean, I knew we probably wouldn't get it, but skipping straight to the pregnancy via time-skip felt like such a shortcut! 😭

We waited through all that slow-burn tension and heavy drama just to miss out on the actual pay-off. They had Liu Xueyi right there looking that breathtaking and gave us the bare minimum on romance!

Give the audience a little reward after all that angst!!!!
