I've finally caught up to the latest episode and now I'll have to endure the wait for new episodes. I like Blood River. Somehow I really click with this drama. So far, there haven't been any boring episodes. The main and supporting cast are convincing. Many characters have their own interesting quirks. The plot always moves forward and has surprises in store. The fight scenes look cool. I just hope Yumo gets more screen time soon. Is she really part of the main cast? So far, it doesn't seem that way.
I've seen four episodes so far... and I'm already invested. I started watching without any expectations and without knowing anything about the other series from the shared universe. I really like the dark aesthetic, all the black and gray colors and the night scenes. This captivating atmosphere and the plot about assassins are the main reasons why I became aware of this drama.
I love the focus on friendship. I'm surprised that I've encountered such an emotional and exciting bromance here, especially since episode 2. I really like the flashbacks about the connection between Muyu and Changhe. I also think Yumo is great. She is such a confident and strong woman. I love how she fights and flirts with Lianyue. I look forward to seeing how all the conflicts and character dynamics unfold.
I like the investigation aspect of this drama, especially the fact that the group travels to different places to search for new clues and answers. That creates a good plot flow. So far, I find the black market in Buhuan Tower's Floating Abyss the most interesting. It has a dark and shady atmosphere. The set looks good. I'm excited to see where the investigations will lead and how the group will develop.
I'm really proud of Thailand for doing this. Mandate is a really well-made political drama. Watching Nong and Vee become increasingly entangled in politics and its gray and dark sides was interesting, shocking, and fascinating. Of course, I hope we get a second season, but even if we don't, I think the ending is fitting, sharp, and poignant.
Is WeTV the platform where you have to pay for each express episode individually? I can't remember it and can't find enough information. It's nice that they are now making the last episodes available via express, but maybe I wait...
That sounds good. Bronze Door is also available on WeTV like Time Raiders - so I can continue to use my subscription. I should also watch Mystic Nine at some point.
I'll either watch another version of the ship arc (The Lost Tomb 2) or continue with Adventure behind the Bronze Door, which comes after Ultimate Note. I'm still unsure π Do you have any plans after Time Raiders?
The first episode was very good. I'm already hooked. Now I'm really curious how the story will unfold and how the friendship and teamwork between the characters will develop.
In general, I really like it when episodes are only 35 minutes long. I think it's a good middle ground. Not too long, not too short. But these cliffhangers and waiting for the next episode are not easy. I can't believe we only have 6 episodes left π
What is this series exactly about? Is this something similar as The Seven Relics of Ill Omen???
It has similarities to Seven Relics of Ill Omen. In both series, a group of work partners, friends and soon-to-be-friends go on adventures and are confronted with dangers and mysteries.
I often feel tense and a bit stressed while watching it. But the feeling suits the series. It's not a fluffy and feel good drama. Xu Yan has to put on a fake smile and lie all the time to achieve her goal. She has to be careful and calculating. What an exhausting life. She doesn't seem happy. I'm excited to see her development.
IT'S SOOOOOOO GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD. god i feel like one needs to scream this every week because if the geoblock restriction…
It's such a shame that the series is difficult to access internationally. I have so much fun watching it. It's such a cute and wholesome BL. And I absolutely agree with you: Hill really is a sweet character, so endearing, soft-spoken and kind-hearted. He deserves all the best.
Now we're back to just one episode a day π’ I find this adaption enjoyable so far. Each episode goes by so quickly. I'm excited about the secrets and dangers of the shipwreck. I hope they conclude the story well.
It's almost time for the next episodes! I haven't felt this hyped for an ongoing drama in a while. I'm so thankful that they finally released it. Chinese adventure and tomb raiding dramas are so much fun and exciting π₯°
I thought Pan Zi is not Pang zi. He is the right hand of San Shu and not the member of iron triangle. And also…
Yes, I know. The Pan Zi we see so far is the right-hand man of Third Uncle. I think the actor fits very well and I enjoy the fact, that Pan Zi and Wu Xie already know each other.
But I'm really excited for Wang Pangzi's first appearance - I can't wait to see our complete Iron Triangle! βΊοΈ
I think the first three episodes are really good. I recognized scenes from the book. I really like the eerie atmosphere and the shots in the nature are so beautiful. My eyes are glued to the screen.
The friendship between Wu Xie and Pan Zi makes me smile every time. So far, I really like Pan Zi's actor. I find him very interesting. He gives Pan Zi such a cool, hot and at the same time playful vibe.
Xiaoge is, as always, the exciting mystery, quiet and calculated. And Wu Xie... oh Wu Xie, he's still a bit naive and definitely lacks experience... but that's understandable. This is his first big adventure. I find him adorable, especially when he wears his glasses. I'm looking forward to the coming days as the adventure unfolds with each episode. Ahhh I'm so happy π₯Ή

We need more adventure dramas in general π
"Some like veggies, others meat. But me? I thrive on delicious junk food. Because that makes me happy."
"I'm a walking vending machine."
"Wu, breathe this 500-year-old air. Feel it~~~!"
