Glad to know it’s not just me. I just finished episode 12, and this is how I’m feeling. ML is head over heels for FL, while FL is so halfhearted. As if she’s only with him out of guilt or obligation . It’s painful to watch ML try to be affectionate and FL acts like he’s forcing himself on her. Idk if I can finish this.

I’m very confused at the comments about this show. Everyone keeps mentioning how fun and light hearted this drama is, but it’s the complete opposite of that??

The FL spends almost the entire drama being sad and helpless because of all the scheming happening against her. Even the ML talks to her like shh at certain points. I could not find any enjoyment watching someone so pitiful.

Had to drop this. Unfortunately this drama suffers the same issue as many other rom-com Kdramas, where the first half of the show is funny and lighthearted, and then the last half becomes bogged down by drawn-out angst; losing the original charm that it started with. I just got tired of seeing the ML in particular just pouting and sulking all the time. Like please wrap this up already 🫩

Veronica Park was the real star of the show for me and I wish she had her own drama or more scenes at least.

Gyuri was the real villain of this drama. Never trust a bored rich girl 💀

Ahh I loved this drama so much. It was fun, engaging, and very touching? I saw many comments talking about the humor so I was expecting to laugh my ahh off, which I did, but I cried alot too. Season 2 can’t come fast enough 🙌🏼

We need a season 2. Their story is not finished, and 6 episodes were not enough for this masterpiece. At the same time, I feel kind of duped by the synopsis. The only character(s) with any kind of power or “special ability” are the mom and maybe the daughter? Everyone else is just skilled in combat. I wanted to see the family members have unique powers like the mom. But I understand maybe for budget reasons they couldn’t get too crazy.

AWFUL ending. I don’t even know how to rate this show because it was a 10/10 for me until it went off the rails. I’m so disappointed.

Criminally underrated show that deserved 12 episodes for more development.

This drama is so good omg. I haven’t seen such a good K-Drama like this in a while. Every episode has me on the edge of my seat. I love seeing what schemes and manipulations Ah Jin cooks up. Also, KYJ is killing it in this role. These last two episodes can’t come fast enough 😭

This drama was very touching and “human”. I cried a lot and I could understand the motivation and thought process behind the FL’s decisions due to her disability. So for this reason, I gave her grace and didn’t see her as toxic. Until the last three episodes.

That’s when the writers just went off the deep end, and the FL pissed me off. The resolution was basically ML just putting up with the bullsh*t because he loved her or whatever. Could have been a 10/10 show if it wasn’t for this.

I did not expect to enjoy this drama as much as I did. The story was engaging, the fashions were amazing, and the performance from the entire cast was great. It was also a breathe of fresh air seeing a natural adult romance where the characters actually behave like grown people and not children or awkward teenagers in their first relationship.

You’re not alone. I was really enjoying this drama until it became frustrating. I’m on episode 28, and I’m considering if I should drop or push through.
What’s killing me the most is the switch-up in the leads’ dynamic after finally communicating with each other and clearing up the misunderstandings. You would think their relationship would be better going forward. Yet somehow they’ve regressed instead. MY became awkward and avoidant with JBZ. And now you have JBZ sneaking shh into her food and withholding information because of plot. So much for being open and honest with each other 🫩
Then there’s the annoying 2ML who adds nothing to the story and is just taking up screen time. At this point, everybody just has me irritated lmao.

2ML went to the Hu Yitian muppet school of acting. Every scene is just 👁️👄👁️. I swear he wasn’t this wooden in LLTG.

This started off well until it became a tacky soap opera and got kind of boring. The ML was exceptionally bland, had no personality, and his face looked like Badtz-Maru the entire time. I don’t understand why the FL fell for him except for the fact that he was helping with her revenge. The 2ML and 2FL were the best part of the show even though they’re the villains.

I binged this in 3 days because it was that good. I loved every minute of it. The writing, the plot, the cinematography, the acting, the OST, the gorgeous leads, etc. I was in a drama slump until I came across this masterpiece.

I also cannot get enough of Li Yun Rui. His performance as Song Mo was so good. The way he could be a cold and fierce general one moment and then a loving husband with eyes dripping honey the next. Every time he was on screen my face was like 😍

I couldn’t get past episode 1. The FL’s constant whining, frowning, and pouting was driving me insane. The older actress was so charismatic and acted like a normal person. I know the writing is partly to blame here, but I think Eunji was miscast.

I can’t lie and say I didn’t enjoy this drama. Literally binged it over 3 days and cried at the end. The chemistry and romance between the leads was explosive and Arthur Chen is so handsome and charismatic. I can’t count how many times I was cheesing and kicking my feet.

At the same time the ML spent the majority of the drama being a jerk and it had me very irritated . It annoyed me even more that the FL would just put up with this behavior or think it was cute like girl please stand up. There was also never any consequences for the ML or a part in the story where ML had to chase after FL. She was always the one doing the chasing and being at his beck and call. It’s mentioned how FL is obsessed with ML and that’s really what it was giving.

Amazing slice of life show that has a little bit of everything. I loved the chemistry between the cast as it felt like an actual family. I could continue watching these characters’ story forever. I’m so sad I finished it.

Zhang Jing Yi is so pretty and Hua Zhi is one of my all time favorite FLs. Everything else was so good that I could look past it, but Hu Yi Tian was miscast for this role. He’s normally a handsome guy but he looked so goofy here. His acting was so wooden as well. Like I don’t think I’ve ever seen a ML who was this expressionless. Throughout the whole show the only face he made was 👁️_👁️ and then sometimes he would widen his eyes. When he spoke he looked like an NPC from a video game.

I can understand why this drama is highly rated. The acting alone is a 10/10. But imo the story completely lost steam after the serial killer was revealed. Yes there were additional twists that in theory should have kept me interested, but that wasn’t the case. The second half was such a drag and I found myself falling asleep or constantly pausing to do something else.
