Yeah, I agree. The ending for Kidnap was also perfect for me- not rushed, what happened made sense for the characters,…
I appreciate your opinion. However, my point was that the way the ending was written for the show was very much like the one for this as per your original post.
1) Loved that Heng's handle online is a reference to 1000 Stars, intentional or not.
2) That last scene was sooooo cute!!!
3) I don't really get why they changed the story to the boss having a daughter versus having a wife in the original. The original was a much more compelling story and balanced out the silliness of the main plot, which as much as I love is also very cringe to me at times. The daughter is just coming across as a spoiled brat to me.
The finale was pretty solid. Loved seeing Gems, from Battle of the Writers, make a cameo at the end! Not usually one for an age gap irl or on-screen, but him and Mark....
But overall good show. Very cute, very fluffy. Teerak was pushing it a bit with acting a bit too childish/immature/innocent, but he still stood his ground with his father towards the end, so I respected that.
RealHia were the *perfect* secondary couple. Loved all of their scenes!
Nomjuet is *really* living up to his name... Yeesh. And why does the actor remind me of Banky so much???
I was hoping for more Fong & JJ in this series, but doesn't look like we'll be getting it. Did enjoy Fong's acting tho. JJ seems to be doing much of the same, which is fine for me. He does well in comedic roles.
Then there's the teasing of Tenon in the intro, but he might not have anything to do with Pete...??? Give us SOMETHING Starhunter!!! lol
The GL side couple was probably my favourite part so far.
The way I watched most of the 3rd episode on 1.5x.... This could be the first show I actually drop. Sangmin, Dinneaw, Tor, Athit are the only ones saving this show. And there's a lot to save. I honestly don't even mind the shady hotel/resort owner.
And they're literally saying "year two" or "year three" in Thai and a translator might choose to say "sophomore" or "junior" in the English subtitles.

And apparently the first black woman to make a Thai BL series??? Ok, let's go!
