This is not about the jae pil... story is about two girls and the friendship... jae pil was there because that allows the writer can tell about two friends.. The third characters in kdrama haven't anymore details than jae pil You can compare this with you and everything else.

When it comes to dealing with tension, [this series] has its own of confronting it; It has a subtle and gentle approach with a delicate rhythm and performance. Its a rare way of building a world and portraying it. Thats called creativity and Innovation. That's why people said characters have complexities and complain about that... because the series handle it very softly and without getting on viewers nerve. Its pure joy.
