He's emotionless because he has alexithymia due to PTSD...that is the whole point of the story....her positivity…
I was referring to "ABL" in case you're talking about "Smile Code". And why he has this is secondary, my point was that both MLs in both dramas suffer from similar symptoms, and in "ABL" the death of the ML came out of nowhere, and I just hope that "Smile Code" ends better.
An emotionless ML? I remember something bad that wasn't long ago. I hope the ML doesn't get killed of screen and FL gets mental problems and hallucinations 🤐. Hopefully we get a nice ending.
idk why but i've mixed feelings about the endingsometimes i feel it'll be a happy satisfying ending (but still…
As long they don't completely deviate from the novel out of nowhere like in ABL (ML was killed off screen and the FL was left with a trauma and hallucinations like wtf????) it's fine.
After the mess of "A beautiful lie" and the traumatizing ending, I hope that TWOT gives us a proper ending as far as possible (if you read the novel u know), I don't want the next drama that I've been waiting for a long time getting ruined. I just hope that in the end they both end up peacefully in their house in the village with the White Olive Tree. A time jump and her son tells what happens to both of them after the end. If that happens, I'll be happy.
But we'll never know because it'll never be broadcast...
I don't know why I waited so long to watch it and I'm glad I finally did. What a beautiful journey of emotions. It's certainly not for everyone, because some people might consider it "boring" or "slow" and that's ok, but for me it was a wounderful drama with the right pace, despite that ending with too many cliches. The OST was perfect and is almost on the Level of "AoS" or "It's ok to not be ok". Some songs defintely end up in my playlist. Just give it a try and see if it suits your taste.
But we'll never know because it'll never be broadcast...
what a disappointing ending, the start was so good and then something like this...
