Finally this aired. Let's watch…

The story of Arisu and Usagi continues…

After finally returning to the real world, the two got married and began living a quiet, peaceful life—completely forgetting their time in Alice Town.

But that peace doesn’t last long. One day, Usagi mysteriously disappears, drawn back into Alice Town under the influence of Ryuji, a researcher obsessed with uncovering the secrets of the afterlife. Determined to bring her back, Arisu follows her back into Alice Town.

As Arisu re-enters Alice Town, he confronts a sequence of life-threatening games. When they progress through the first game, his memory of his time there also returns.

This season introduces the Joker cards, and the games become even more brutal and mentally taxing. The players face new deadly challenges, complex rules, and moral dilemmas that push them to their limits.

This season they introduce Joker cards & the games itself become more brutal and mentally taxing. The players face new deadly games, more complex rules, and moral dilemmas.

So Arisu is once more forced to strategize not just for survival, but for rescue and sacrifice.

Now the questions:
? Will Arisu finally find and reunite with Usagi…
? Will they make it out of Alice Town alive—again
And the biggest question of all…
? Who is the Joker?

That's pretty much the story without giving spoilers. Now what I like and don't.

What I like:
+ As usual the game itself quite intriguing to say the least. The effects not bad too...

What I don't like:
- Well this season feels unnecessary. But maybe for some people this is a need for closure.
- I kinda hope I can see the character from season 1 & 2 to re-join the game in this season. But instead they introduced new member
- Don't like the ending. The way Netflix messed this up… Like Squids Game or Money Heist

Overall I'm just happy I can put this as the title in my Alphabet challenge. Haha…

hm...

It’s not so often that we see Thai BL dramas switching up couples so frequently. So, it was quite a surprise for me to see Pond Ponlawit Ketprapakorn with a new partner, while his partnership with Earth (Cooheart) in Fourever You hasn’t even wrapped up yet. I know that series is still pending, waiting for a second season—and of course, I know Pond has every right to take on other projects. I’m not protesting, don’t get me wrong—I’m happy for him. I just found it unexpected—since it’s not the norm in the Thai BL drama world.

Because I’m a little impatient, I decided to start reading the novel. Thank goodness someone uploaded the entire book on Wattpad. To my surprise, they changed some key elements from the book for the drama adaptation—and those changes actually alters the overall tone of the story

Let’s discuss drama…

The story follows Armin Thiwanon, a renowned actor who tragically dies on the night of his greatest triumph—just after winning a prestigious award and discovering his long-time partner’s betrayal.

Instead of death, Armin wakes up 26 years in the past, back when he was a struggling, unknown performer in his early 20s. Once again, he must walk the path to superstardom

In this altered timeline, he meets Thada, a mysterious man who suddenly befriends him. Unbeknownst to Armin, Thada is the one who paves the way for his success. With Thada’s help, Armin’s rise to fame happens much faster this time.

As their bond deepens, Armin eventually discovers a shocking truth: Thada is actually TD—the mysterious, devoted fan from his past life. That revelation changes everything. The feelings Armin once thought were gratitude begin to shift into something deeper.

But amidst all these changes in his second chance at life, one question remains…
Who was responsible for Armin’s death in his past life? And are they still causing trouble for Armin in this life?

That's pretty much the story without giving more spoilers. Now what I like and don't.

What I like:
+ Seeing the possibility for Thai actors to change ships in the middle of an unfinished drama series…

What I don’t like:
- Although everyone seems to like Pond & Peterpan chemistry, for me it is a NO go. They don’t sell it for me. I still prefer Pond & Earth in Fourever You.
- Everything must add a BL element… It’s too much forcing the vibe… In the book Janine is a woman & more importantly, she’s married with kids. So why the drama needed to change her gender into male, even added a little bit of a romance vibe with Veynai. I really don’t understand it…
- For me Peterpan can’t sell me Thada character. He’s good, but he’s not Thada.

Overall this is an ok drama for 2nd chance. Forgettable in my book. But still a fun watch. Much prefer the book than the drama

Now the difference between drama and the book… Fair warning though, I’ll write with spoilers. So if you don’t wanna know, you can stop reading here.

==================================================
SPOILER ALERT!!!
==================================================

The different from the book:
* They take the mystery around Armin’s death more seriously. In the book is strictly just the beginning of the story. And this is the primary reason that changes the tone of the story. The book is just about how Armin took better chance in his 2nd life, not surrounding the mystery of his death.
* Phat & his mother, Armin’s friend who is never mentioned in the book. But they bring such a good vibe for Armin’s character. I’m happy the drama added these 2 characters.
* Thiwthit, Thada’s brother as such an important character. Thiwthit is never mentioned in the book. And I just don’t like that they added this character.
* In the book, Armin never really left Venus, instead, Thada just silently bought Venus behind the scene. Haha… And he’s more of a shadow figure behind Armin’s back instead so flown upright like in the drama.
* In the book, Thada is more mysterious. He’s the embodiment of a mysterious rich guy who controls everything behind the entertainment world. And when he announced his relationship with Armin that when the world was shaking… He really made a difference with Armin than any of his “fling”.
* The beginning of their relationship… It's just so weird in the drama. I don’t like it.
* The way they change the fact that Thada is also experienced back to past life. Yes the book mentions this for their special chapter, but for a totally different story. Not like in the drama.

What a watch...

Watched this for my Alphabet Challenge—and when I saw that Zhao Li Ying’s drama was only 8 episodes, I just clicked play… Hoho.

Lately, Zhao Li Ying has moved away from simple idol romances. All her recent dramas are serious, well-produced, and artistically driven. While this shows her growth as an actress, it also means not all of her dramas are my cup of tea. Nonetheless, they are all amazing in their own right. And this particular drama… Left me completely speechless.

Let’s talk about this drama…

The story follows Xu Tian (XT), an Uber driver who becomes obsessed with a girl named Jia Xiao Duo (XD).

XD frequently books his service, and with each ride, XT’s obsession grows. Desperate to understand her better, he signs up for a beta test of a virtual reality (VR) system where users can experience life from another person’s perspective—specifically, he plans to enter the world as XD.

But just before he begins the VR session, XD books his car again—so he leaves to pick her up instead.

While in the car, XD is on a phone call, but XT mistakenly thinks she’s talking to him. It turns out she’s arguing with her boyfriend, Wang Yang Ming (YM). Not long after, YM shows up and blocks XT’s car. Worried for XD’s safety, XT follows them and eventually catches up—only to witness their fight escalate before XD returns to his vehicle.

After taking XD home, a frustrated XT finally enters the VR. Inside, he experiences himself as XD and gets into a Virtual Escape Room (VER), where XD works as an NPC or host. In the VER, he experiences something out of the ordinary—it feels incredibly real.

The next day, YM books XT’s ride — this time to explain everything. He tells XT that he and XD have already broken up, but XD refuses to let go. YM claims he’s now with someone else and that XD often harasses him. He begs XT to “man up” and take XD off his hands. He even calls XD "crazy" and says she likes to twist the facts. As proof, he shows XT a video, claiming that what XD said about their relationship is different from the truth.

XT, however, doesn't seem to care whether XD is "crazy" or not.

After his meeting with YM, XT returns to the VR world. This time, he chooses to revisit the first time he met XD, wanting to see what her first impression of him actually was.

In the VR world, many strange things happen, and XT "dies" there. When he wakes up, he is shocked to find himself as XD — not XT. Even more disturbing, the VR operator tells him he has always entered the simulation as XD, not XT.
Now completely confused, XT visits a psychiatrist the next day... and that’s when the real truth begins to unfold.
And here’s where I’ll stop — because revealing more would spoil everything.

What I like:
+ The entire cast plays their roles beautifully, especially the two leads, Zhao Liying and Yin Fang.
+ The drama takes the concept of obsession to a whole new level—psychological, intense, and deeply unsettling.

What I don’t like:
- The plot can be confusing and hard to follow at times. Some twists don’t feel fully explained until the very end.
- This is one of the hardest reviews I’ve ever written — there’s just so much to unpack, I don’t even know where to begin or how far I should go with it… haha.

Overall, this is a truly wonderful suspense drama. You won't fully understand it unless you watch until at least episode six. This is definitely not for everyone, but for me, with only eight episodes, it was absolutely worth my time.

My July 2025 recommendations challenge

Watch this for my July 2025 recommendations challenge by 𝑱𝒆𝒍𝒆𝒏𝒂 𝑷𝒆𝒕𝒓𝒐𝒗𝒊𝒄. Let's discuss movies…

This is a classic story about two best friends who have been stuck in the friend zone for years.

Palm and Gink have been inseparable since high school. Gink's parents didn't have the best marriage — they divorced because of her father's affair. In fact, it was Gink herself, along with Palm, who discovered the truth about her father’s infidelity.

Palm has had feelings for Gink since high school and even tried to confess back then. But Gink, deeply affected by her father’s betrayal, rejected him. She didn’t want to risk losing Palm as a friend, believing that friendship is safer because "you can’t break up with your best friend.”

Over the years, they continue living their lives and each enter different romantic relationships — but remain each other’s closest confidants.

Whenever Palm breaks up with yet another girlfriend, Gink is always there to scold him— and comfort him. And whenever Gink fights with her boyfriend—no matter where she is in the world—Palm, being a flight attendant, will drop everything and fly to her the moment she calls.

Then one day, Gink begins to suspect that her current boyfriend might be cheating on her — and calls Palm to help investigate.

Then one day, Gink grew highly suspicious of her boyfriend and called Palm to investigate with her.

Amidst the chaotic emotions Gink felt about her boyfriend, Palm's long-repressed feelings for Gink also resurfaced. The tension became palpable until Palm could no longer hold back his feelings. He finally asked Gink to choose between him and her boyfriend. Shocked and overwhelmed, Gink is left stunned, unsure of what to do next.

So, what happens next?
Will they remain just friends at the end, or will something finally change between them?

That's pretty much the story without giving the spoiler. Now what I like and don't.

What I like:
+ A heartwarming, classic take on the friend-zone trope
+ Good chemistry between Nine & Baifern.

What I don't too like:
- The story doesn’t offer anything particularly new or surprising. From the very beginning, it's obvious how special Gink and Palm’s bond is—so it’s just a matter of when, not if, they’ll cross the line.

Overall, this movie is quite good. It covers every aspect of the classic "friend versus relationship" dilemma and explores all the questions about whether to cross that line, what happens if you do, and what if that relationship ultimately fails.

Why... Why... Why....

I forget about the existence of this special ep, but when I'm arranging my picks of the month, it just came to me... So here I'm finished watch this...

Story about Cir & Phu in other world. Cir in this world has a foul mouth, people called him dog's mouth, cause be can only talk in harsh words. Phu in the other hand is a very shy guy, he's only talkative when talk about Cir with his friends. Haha...

In this world, they have reverse role, it's Phu who been in love with Cir since middle school & all this time, Phu kinda becomes stalker to Cir. But all this time, Cir never really notice nor care about his admirer.

And it's all change since Cir go to The White World (our original story, I called it white world cause Cir represents by wearing White Clothes) & wake up thinking it just a dream.

When Cir wakes up, he starts noticing Phu just in every corner pay attention to him, yet still try to hide his existence. And with the help of Wim, Phu finally get closer to Cir. So, how will their story develop in this world...?

That's pretty much the story without giving the spoiler. Now what I like and don't.

What I like:
+ I can see Boss in more Payu's hairstyle. Haha...
+ Wim & Jim are already in relationships in this world.
+ I really like Cir & Phu in this version

Overall I'm quite happy about this special episode. But this special episode also leave a bitter taste in my mouth. That's why I'm lowering the score again. Below I'll write what I mean by the bitter taste. But that's also mean SPOILERS ALERT!!! Read it at your own risk.

==================================================
SPOILER ALERT!!!
==================================================

Why... Why... Why they must leave the world in Payu's world (I called it Payu's world cause Cir represents by having Payu's hairstyle) hanging in the middle just to back to the White World. I NEED TO WATCH THE CONTINUE OF CIR & PHU IN PAYU'S WORLD. What the heck happen after that kissed.... What is Phu reaction to it... Ughhhhh....

I really need to read to the book ASAP!!!!

Another Earth-Mix drama here we come...

After watching the first episode, I decided to watch this week by week, rather then wait to binge it. Cause this is really quite a chaotic drama, I don’t think my mind is going to hold up if I binge it in 1 sitting. Haha…

Anyhow…

Story about one property consultant company & its employees. Heng is the one of the consultants, he's one messy & sloppy guy, yet he's quite attached to his mom, not like mama boy but like his mama takes care of his life from cooking till cleaning. One day, his mama got sick by the sloppy Heng & decided to go from home & threaten Heng to get a girlfriend if not she'll not come back.

Mo, is the other consultant, mo comes from out of town & reassigned back to the company in Heng place. Since Mo had no place to live, Heng asks Mo to live together with him, what Mo just needs to do is cleaning house & cooking for Heng, yeah basically do what Heng’s mother did. Haha…

One day, Heng accidentally sees his boss' phone's screen & is shocked to see his face in it. And not long after, his Boss confessed his feelings for Heng. And since Heng can't quite say NO to his boss, his boss thinks Heng is also reciprocating his feelings. So, the misunderstanding started….

When Heng told Mo about it, turn out Mo also had feelings for Heng.

So… How will their story roll from here… Who will Heng choose in the end…?

That's pretty much the story without giving any more spoilers. Now what I like and don't.

What I like:
+ Quite a unique story about a man who couldn't say NO to his boss & still needed to do all the work with the chaotic feelings.
+ Earth did an amazing job. Never expected I can see this side of acting from Earth.
+ The journey of Heng-Mo-Boss relationships growing

What I don’t like:
- How childish & chaotic Earth behave in the drama. Quite a headache to watch in the first few episodes.
- Not really a fan of the song & all the dancing. Haha…
- Sometimes watching too many Thai’s BL means we already know the couples & that erases the surprise or excitement element in guessing who is gonna end up with who. Like this one, if I just blankly enter this drama without any knowledge about Earth-Mix CP, I’ll just be at the edge of my seat, who will Heng end up with, the boss or Mo or even Chicha.

Don't know to put it in the like or not. But the confuse feeling of Mo. I don’t agree with how he potray his relationship with Heng. Especially these day, when same sex marriage is accepted everywhere, and even legal in Thai. It's like such an outdated topic. Maybe cause this is adaptation from Japan & at that time it's like that in the drama, but for me this topic need adjustment when they did the Thai adaptation.

Overall, it's a chaotic yet fun mess in the end. I am really confused about what score I should give this. Haha…

Everyone on the feeds keep buzzing about this, and this also has Zhang Ling He. So let me just check this out…

Story about Shen Xi Fan (XF) & He Su Ye (SY). XF is a manager in a 5-star hotel. Our story started with XF suffering from insomnia and migraines due to her problem with her boyfriend, Yan Heng (YH). Her parents suggest XF to see a Chinese medicine doctor & consult about her insomnia. So, obeying her parents, XF goes to see a Chinese medicine doctor and meets the gentle and handsome Chinese medicine doctor SY. Although reluctant to take the bitter medicine, XF’s parents make sure she takes the medicine.

Charmed & falls in love at the first sight with XF, SY tries to pursue her. But he finds out that XF has a boyfriend & he’s the root problem of XF’s insomnia. So, as a good doctor & friend, SY often tries to cheer XF & give her suggestions regarding her problem with her BF. And slowly but sure, their relationship grows into something more.

XF on the other hand, although also been charmed by SY, but at first she still has a BF. So XF tries to match SY to her best friend, Xu Xiang Ya (XY). But soon, XF's problem with YH grows even larger & one day YH just asks for a break up through text & that’s almost devastating XF. But thanks to SY’s companion, XF finally cheered up.

So, now SY & XF have mutual feelings for each other & both are single. Does that mean they will be in a relationship? No, not really. Cause the problem now, XF has plans to go abroad to study for her master's degree. And since XF had a bad experience with YH regarding a long distance relationship, XF doesn’t want to start a new relationship before she goes. And not only that, suddenly YH also started coming back to XF life, demanding for them to reconcile. So, how will SY & XF take control of their relationship…?

That's pretty much the story without giving any more spoilers. Now what I like and don't.

What I like:
+ Mature relationship. All the couples here are really mature adults who’s not make small problems into ridiculous fights.
+ How they promote Chinese medicine & its benefits against western medicine.
+ SY’s relationship with his dad. Usually in the drama, you either had a good or bad relationship with the parents. But here, SY’s relationship with his dad feel falls in the middle. He had a grudge against his dad & I don’t think he quite forgave him, but on the other hand he’s not really angry with his dad. So, although SY doesn’t really have the best relationship with his dad, he still can be civil with him.

What I don’t like:
- Annoying BGM. Sometimes they overuse BGM. It feels like all the romance feelings must be highlighted with BGM.

Overall this is a really good drama in my book.

Tan Song Yun & Zheng Ye Cheng of course here I come… Another messed up summary from MDL. Let me tell the story from my version.

Story about Ji Ying Ying (YY) a girl from a famous brocade family in Yizhou. Her father created a perfect color of red, that has been said to overcome all red. That made a lot of people envious of YY’s dad & finally they plotted to kill YY’s dad. YY’s dad was accused of making a fake brocade as a tribute for the emperor & being murdered as the result. The young YY who witnessed her dad murdered, traumatised by the red color.

After YY’s dad died, even though their family gets amnesty & can live normally, Ji's family still have a tainted reputation because of their dad affair. But all the problems didn’t make Ji’s family avoid brocade business. Now, the kids in Ji’s family grow up. YY is very skillful in coloring the silk thread while her brother, Ji Nan (JN) is a weaver expert.

YY had a childhood sweetheart that’s also her fiance, Zhao Xiu Yuan (XY). For years they determine to be together no matter what the obstacle in front of them. But it all became extremely hard when a daughter of the influential Niu family, Niu Wu Niang (WN), took interest in XY. And finally XY gives up YY in order to protect her & ends up marrying WN.

On the other hand, YY also met Yang Jing Lan (JL) when she’s still a little girl & JL fell in love with YY, but now when they met up again YY doesn’t recognize JL. JL went back to town as the new brocade inspector, & YY entangled with him to investigate all the things related to the brocade industry. The strange feeling getting warmer & trust build up with every case they investigate together, making them getting closer with each other. Slowly but surely YY’s feelings also start to grow for JL.
And when YY and JL feeling finally became mutual with each other, YY once more got entangled with more serious and deep trouble. And because MDL already spoiled us, it’s all related to the prince of Nanzhao Kingdom. So, how YY & JL take care of the problem & be happily ever after with each other… ^^

That's pretty much the story without giving any more spoilers. Now what I like and don’t.

What I like
+ The good chemistry between Tan Song Yun & Zheng Ye Cheng.
+ I’m quite surprised to see that China is more and more daring to put hidden LGBTQ+ in the drama. Hoho…. I’m talking about the relationship between WN and her maid. Oh don’t lie to ourself that it’s the usual relationship between master and servant, that’s GL all the way from hidden till so obviously standing in your face… Haha…. ^^
+ The friendship between YY & all her brocade friends.
+ The cute prove themself for JN & Sang Shi Si (SS) to their woman. Especially SS. I’m really happy when he turns out not just good for nothing man.
+ The hard fact how so easy to hide or even turn the fact and lie upside down if you have power. This drama really tells us so early about the reality or the fact behind YY’s dad's case, but so so hard to turn it over. And how easily Niu Jin (NJ) uses his power.
+ The smart woman who takes power. In this drama, I think I’ve seen the most how women take control in business in costume dramas (ancient times). I mean like in Yang & Hua’s family is the wife that takes care of the business & the man, especially in Hua’s family, only enjoys & takes advantage of the fact.

What I don’t like
- The stupid case of how sometimes people really overestimate relationships and underestimate people's greed for power. I’m talking about NJ & his superior. How his superior never thinks NJ can betray him just because he already helps NJ in so many ways.
- Once more just how they made ML seem invincible. I know we see many times how JL almost died. But it’s like every time he successfully turns it around.
- I don't understand how easily Cheng Feng Ze turned around the fact that he was almost captured but easily got away with it…

Overall this is an interesting drama to watch. But I can't say you lose something if you’re not watching this…

Quite curious when I heard this will gonna have special episode... Well... unfortunately much like Eliot_Rulez wrote: "While the series was bad, this was even worse. It added nothing to the story, except to have two leads of the original Thai "Love in the Air" in it."

Anyhow... Story first...

This story like Thai special revolve only about our 2 couples love life. All of them couple now, and because Arashi & Fuma make their lovers jealous, of course not deliberate even though they make it seem deliberately, Rei & Kai fled to go on their own vacation.

I don't know what the purpose of making this special episode, maybe except to please us, the Thai fans, with the show up of Boss & Fort. Although I'm still a little bit not satisfied. I really hope Payu & Prapai have interaction more with Arashi & Fuma instead just with Rei & Kai.

Watch this for my MDL 2024 challenge. Quite interesting, it just has a very big but…

Story about a widow named Tampopo. Her husband died not long before, and she struggles to maintain the ramen restaurant left by her late husband. One day, a truck driver, Goro, comes to the restaurant & sees Tampopo being harassed by her customer. Can’t just stand by seeing that, Goro decided to help Tampopo, but just to be defeated. But from that accident, the friendship between Goro & Tampopo started.

Tampopo who struggles about the restaurant finally has the courage to ask Goro for help. Goro, with the help of some people, helps Tampopo gather the perfect recipe for ramen… And later even to renew the shop for Tampopo...

That's pretty much the story without giving any spoilers. Tampopo is a really clever woman, she managed to trick a few people / chefs to give her the recipe without them realizing it. It was so fun to see her gather the recipe.

This is actually really quite an interesting old movie, even though I watch it today time, I don't feel it's too old. But unfortunately, the scene in the movie mixed with the scene unrelated to the story. I don’t know it just the style at that time or what, but it really affected me who watch it today.

Watch this for MDL 2024 Watch Challenge and also Xu Lu & Bi Wen Jun. hang on till the end just because of the Challenge. Bi Wen Jun really needs a good script. Such unfortunate he still got this kind of script.

Story about Shan Dan Dan (DD) and Pei Pei (PP). DD is an eccentric business-minded woman that is determined to become a jade specialist, crosses paths with PP, a playboy who hails from a jade merchant family yet does nothing but engage in frivolous activities.

DD’s character attracts PP’s mom & by any means she pulls DD to be near PP’s side. Short story, DD ends up as PP’s maid. And with the help from DD, PP’s family managed to get through some problems. In the end, PP’s family managed to rise from their downfall. And of course DD & PP relationship is getting closer with each problem.

That's pretty much the story without giving any spoilers. Overall just another drama on my list. For me the only good thing about this drama is the good and kind hearted PP’s mother.

Below I’ll write a little rant about this drama. But that also means SPOILER ALERT!!! Read it at ur own risk.

==================================================================================
SPOILER ALERT!!!
==================================================================================
- If I must put a word to the script I think is: childish script. Ugh you know the feeling like they put any trope that can be put into here.
- PP is so childish…. Ugh…. I really hope this is just an early project of Bi Wen Jun that just aired now. Not really his new drama. Watching PP is really tiring.
- Really boring overall plot. Ugh… How should I put this… The plot itself is really uninteresting to follow. Boring villain, boring main reason to did the bad things & everything is simply just too easy for the protagonist…

Another drama of Zhao Lu Si & Liu Yu Ning, of course here I come...

So, how will DW & ZJ successfully going through all the trouble...?

That's pretty much the story without giving anymore spoiler. Now what I like and don't.

What I like:
+ Zhao Lu Si & Liu Yu Ning at my screen. Haha... Whatever people said about them, for me their quite a match for each other.
+ Zhang Jin Ran is a really gentlemen till the end
+ Cui Shi Jiu (SJ). This woman is so interesting one way or another.
+ Zheng Zhi Heng (ZH). I love how he genuinely love SJ.

Overall this quite good drama, but surely forgettable & have some holes. Below I'll write the holes that I notice, but that's also mean SPOILER ALERT!!! Read it at ur own risk.

==================================================
SPOILER ALERT!!!
==================================================

I feel the plot sometimes like jumping from scene to scene. It's like something supposed to be there but they cut it in the final edit.
- The attack that ZJ & JR experience. What the heck what's that... It's like one moment they ready to attack the next moment it's them who's under attack. Of course later is feel more clear after we find out about who's the betrayal. But still it's a little bit weird, feel something missing.
- The crazy and important cause that make ZJ's family assassinated. Or it's just me that really not take the grab of it...
- The amazing JR. Haha... JR a few time ambush his enemy by hand behind the scene. Haha... I don't know other word to put it, that's how I feel it. Like when he arrest ZH. Oh come on.... That's clearly lazy writing there. I hope they show us more like investigation or stalking or anything that indicate Zhang family is on the radar.
- The way DW been capture & the blood pearl suddenly be remembered again after been forgotten for half of drama.
I already a little bit forget some of it, gonna fill it later when I remember then... Haha...

Oh Sh*t...

Quite wonder about this drama. Finally finished aired. Let's watch it...

Story about Sheng Wang (SW), a boy who just move back to town & enter new school. The first scene actually just give view that he just come to town, but later when SW flash back, we know that actually he's lived there when he's little. So, SW move back to town due to his father re-married. In this new school, he get a shocking news, the school have a harsh test rule. They quick to learn new subject & then test. But thankfully, SW is a clever boy, he quickly adapt with the school system & got himself friends.

On the other hands, there's Jiang Tian (JT), a top student in the school. SW's dad married JT's mom & that's make them brothers & they also lived in the same house. At first, SW quite reluctant to ask for JT's help, cause JT also like build a wall so no one can go near him. But slowly but sure we can see how special SW in JT's eye. JT silently help SW to adapt with their friend & in the end also JT & SW both help each other in their study.

So, slowly but sure we can see how their relationship get closer and closer. But of course like any other teenager, SW quite struggler with his feeling for JT. On one hand, JT is SW brother. But on the other hand, SW notice JT is quite special for him & SW also notice how JT think him as special man too. So, how will their relationship evolve from here...?

That's pretty much the story. Now what I like and don't.

What I like:
+ The perfect chemistry between JT & SW. Oh I love how they put the atmosphere between these boys....
+ Usually I quite hate or don't like if actor in their 30s or edge of their 20s act as teenage boy, but for these cast I beg the different. And unlike the recent Thai drama that force their luck with the actor, both our main lead surround by the actor of their age.
+ The funny and perfect little school life.

Overall this quite good a drama. But why I only give this 6.5...? Because one big thing that I really hate... But that's also mean BIG SPOILER ALERT!!! Read it at ur own risk. Without the drawback actually I'll gonna rate this 8.5 - 9

==================================================
SPOILER ALERT!!!
==================================================

What I don't like:
THIS IS THE OPEN ENDING WITH THE CLIFFHANGER!!!! They leave us when SW start notice his feeling for JT & want to 'cure' it, return it to just brotherly feeling between them.

But still this one series that I still excited to wait for season 2. I really hope I'm not wait for too long

Watch this for my Zhang Bin Bin. Turn out to be one of the best medical drama. Let's talk drama...

Story about Zheng Ren (ZR), a prodigy doctor who's not easy to give up. This drama open with ZR witness his father jump from the building, cause the malpractice accusation. So yeah, this drama open with ZR try to unravel the mystery of his father accusation & also the reason ZR go to Haicheng Hospital. But that's mystery soon be solved & with that mystery ending, now is the turn for ZR to open the curtain & all the nerve-wracking story about doctor's job begin...

In Haicheng, ZR met Su Yun (SY), a good doctor with traumatize history that make him can't hold the scalpel. ZR also changing Su Li (SL) the perspective about running hospital or become the doctor itself. ZR remind SL about her initial purpose to become doctor is to save people, not only about making the hospital into profitable business. With the changing perspective in SL mind, she start to form star team with ZR as the centre.

At first ZR as the star doctor get opposition from senior doctor at Haicheng Hospital. Of course, he is a young & new doctor, many senior & old doctor at Haicheng not accepting him as the face of Haicheng Hospital. But soon that old fella have to admit ZR is a prodigy doctor & deserve the title as the star doctor.

Slowly but sure, the team start to form. And when the Haicheng Hospital get the case to separated the conjoint twin, the team has been formed & ready to go for the surgery. The team include He Qian, an anesthetic doctor; Xie Yi Ren, equipment nurse; Lin Yuan second surgeon; Chang Yue orthopedic surgeon; later we get introduce to Rudolf, a foreign doctor that be mesmerize with ZR technic. And of course the most important member SY, after he get heal from his trauma.

Now what I like and don't like.

What I like
+ The Bromance between ZR & SY. Hohoho... If this from other country, I think they already ship that bromance into romance. Haha...
+ The bickering between the doctor, but at the end the most important thing for them still to safe people, not just for their ego.
+ All doctor also normal human. They can be traumatize or have grudge.
+ How doctor can be reminded again about their original purpose to become a doctor.
+ No hospital politic. Pure about medical field...

Actually I don't have something that I don't like. So maybe just what I don't too like:
- I don't too understand all the medical operation & term.
- Oh how much I wish this from other country. So we can see the relationship of ZR & SY transform to deeper relationship. Haha...

Overall this really one good medical drama.
