Watch this for the MDL challenge. Lucky me this is easy to find on YouTube.

Story about the world of migrant workers from the Philippines who work in Hong Kong. It’s a quiet look at their struggles, dreams, and the search for belonging far from home.

The story follows Joy Fabregas and Ethan Del Rosario.

Joy is a hardworking domestic helper who struggles to make ends meet. To save enough money, she’s even willing to take illegal side jobs. Her ultimate goal is to migrate to Canada, where she hopes to finally practice her profession as a nurse and provide a better life for her family.

Ethan, on the other hand, is a charismatic and easy-going bartender dealing with his own family issues. Unlike Joy, Ethan is searching for stability and a reason to stay in Hong Kong after years of living as a “playboy” to mask his past heartbreaks.

Joy is a dedicated domestic helper. To save enough money for her dream, she takes on illegal side jobs—risky, but necessary. Her goal? To migrate to Canada, where she can finally work as a nurse, the profession she trained for. More than career, it’s about giving her family a better future.

Ethan is a charming, easy-going bartender who’s spent years avoiding seriousness. Behind his smile, he’s dealing with unresolved family issues and past heartbreaks. He used to be a "playboy"—not because he didn’t care, but because it was easier than facing pain. Now, after years in Hong Kong, he’s searching for something real—something that makes him want to stay.

Their story begins with a chance encounter. Ethan is instantly drawn to Joy—not just her beauty, but her strength, her fire, the way she carries herself despite everything. He starts pursuing her, persistent even when she keeps saying no. Her focus is clear: Canada. She can’t afford distractions. Love doesn’t provide for her family or buy visas.

But as they keep crossing paths—and as Ethan refuses to give up—something shifts. They start spending time together. Not grand dates, but small moments: late-night talks, shared meals, quiet understanding.

In each other, they find something rare: a sense of home in a city that treats them as outsiders.

Ethan helps Joy slow down, to see the beauty in the present—to remember she’s more than just a worker chasing a dream. And Joy inspires Ethan to grow up, to face his past, and take life seriously.

So now, the big questions remain…

Will they finally start a relationship—even though Joy’s time in Hong Kong is running out?
Could Joy ever choose to stay… for Ethan?
And if she still decides to go to Canada, what happens to them? Can love survive distance, duty, and dreams?

That's pretty much the story without giving the spoiler. Now what I like and don't.

What I like:
+ Joy’s persistence. She never weaver, not even when love knock on her doors
+ The complex family dynamics in both Joy & Ethan family
+ The picture of struggles, hope & dreams that we have & need to face in our life
+ The way Ethan in the end respect Joy wish & dreams
+ The tight family bond that all the migrant workers from the Philippines have with each other.

Overall this really one good movie that not only talk cr*p about love can conquer all…

Our first Omegaverse genre

ABO Desire is a groundbreaking 2025 drama series—and a major milestone as the first live-action adaptation of the Omegaverse (Alpha/Beta/Omega) genre.

Before we dive into the story, let me break down the world of the Omegaverse for you.

The series is set in a world reshaped by a global virus that triggered a genetic mutation—dividing humanity into four secondary genders based on 𝗯𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝘁𝘆𝗽𝗲𝘀:
> Alphas (A): The elite class. Dominant, physically powerful, and driven by strong instincts. They emit pheromones that can influence or even overwhelm others—especially Omegas.
> Betas (B): The neutral majority. Low fertility, no intense biological cycles, and largely unaffected by pheromones. They live quietly in the background.
> Omegas (O): The most fertile group—regardless of biological sex. They go through periodic "heats," during which they become highly vulnerable and desire mating. Despite their reproductive importance, they’re often marginalized, objectified, or treated as inferior.
> Enigmas (E): A rare, almost mythical class. So powerful they can override Alpha dominance—even turn an Alpha into an Omega. Few believe they exist at all.

𝗕𝗶𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝘆𝗰𝗹𝗲𝘀
> Heats (Omegas): A period of intense fertility and emotional vulnerability. During heat, an Omega feels a deep, instinctual pull toward an Alpha—often described as a desperate need to be claimed or "provided for."
> Ruts (Alphas): The male counterpart to heat. When an Alpha enters rut, they become hyper-focused, possessive, and driven by the primal urge to claim and protect an Omega.
> The Mating Bite (The Permanent Mark)
This is the most significant act of claiming. It occurs when an Alpha bites the scent gland located at the nape of the Omega’s neck. This creates a Permanent Bond. The two characters become biologically "synced," often allowing them to feel each other’s emotions or location from a distance.

Now, let’s begin the story.

It follows Sheng Shaoyou (SY), a cold and powerful S-Class Alpha and heir to a biotech empire. He is desperate to find a cure for his father’s "pheromone gland cancer."

During a business visit to rival CEO Shen Wenlang (WL), SY unexpectedly encounters Hua Yong (HY)—a striking Omega who perfectly fits SY’s ideal image: beautiful, fragile, and emotionally vulnerable. HY strikes him like a vision: a "delicate little orchid" waiting to be claimed. Determined to claim this “delicate little orchid” for himself, SY begins to pursue HY relentlessly.

But here’s what SY doesn’t know: HY isn’t just another Omega falling into his orbit.

They’ve met before.

When they were just boys, SY saved HY from being bullied. That single act of kindness changed HY’s life forever. That moment left a deep impression on HY, who fell in love and quietly devoted his life to SY. From that day on, HY had only one goal: becoming SY’s mate.

Now grown up, HY is playing a long game. He deliberately puts himself in danger, creates situations where he needs saving—all so SY can feel dominant, in control, and emotionally invested. Every move is calculated. Because for HY, this isn’t just love. It’s destiny.

And beneath it all… HY hiding a big secret about his true identity, whether in Omegaverse or business world.

The secondary storyline focuses on Gao Tu (GT), an Omega working as a secretary for Shen Wenlang. But no one knows his real status—not even his father more over WL. GT has spent years pretending to be a Beta, using dangerous suppressants to hide his scent and avoid detection.

He does it to survive.

GT’s decision to hide his Omega status began with his mother. After suffering abuse herself, she feared her son would be exploited by dominant Alphas. To protect him, she forced GT to live as a Beta, teaching him to suppress his true nature.

Despite his high salary, GT lives in poverty while supporting his sick sister and debt-ridden father. GT has secretly loved WL since their university days, but knowing WL’s hatred toward Omegas, he never dares to reveal either his feelings or his true identity.

Because of his parents’ toxic marriage—where his Alpha father was manipulated, in his eyes, by his Omega husband—WL grew up believing Omegas use their biology to trap Alphas. He sees heats and ruts not as natural cycles, but as biological traps. He’s even made chilling remarks about aborting any child an Omega might carry.

Now the questions remain…

? What will happen to both relationships—SY-HY, and WL-GT…
? What is the real secret Hua Yong is hiding about his identity…
? And when the truth comes out— will it change everything between them all (either SY-HY or WL-GT)?

That's pretty much the story without giving any more spoilers. Now what I like and don't.

What I like:
+ The twist of SY-HY relationship. Not reading the summary before watching helps me a lot for this…
+ The chemistry between all the couples.
+ The friendship between WL & HY, eventually even to SY.
+ I know I'm not supposed to like this. But seeing an arrogant alpha male eventually drop to their knees for their partners is somehow satisfying

What I don't too like:
- The ending of WL-GT relationship… I really hope we can get a special episode just for their gap relationship…

Overall for the first of Omegaverse, this very satisfying result….

Watch this for the MDL challenge.

A short film for the song 'ยังไกล' by BOY PEACEMAKER.

Story about Pete. Pete has been in love with his friend, Hana, for a long time. But Hana doesn’t feel the same way—she’s in a relationship with someone else.

The story begins when Pete and several of his friends go on a trip together. During the trip, Hana is in a bad mood because she’s fighting with her boyfriend.

Pete, unable to stand seeing Hana so downcast, tries his best to cheer her up. As the day goes on, the dynamic between Pete and Hana starts to feel like it’s shifting toward something more.

So the question is—will Pete and Hana finally end up together, or will Hana return to her boyfriend?

This short film beautifully captures the ache of unrequited love. You can truly feel Pete’s pain throughout the story. Copter delivers a stunning performance, and you see every emotion in his eyes, even without many words.

It’s a bit unfortunate that the film has no subtitles. Thankfully, it’s only about 15 minutes long, and the story is easy to understand even without much dialogue.

Another drama of Big & Park. Let's watch…

This is a story about Phopthorn and Suriya.

Phopthorn has always felt unlucky in life. On the very day he finally wins the lottery, he gets into a terrible accident. When he wakes up, he finds himself reborn in the body of Apo, the son of a billionaire family.

Apo is engaged to Suriya, a handsome man who has the ability to read minds. From the very beginning, Suriya knows that Phopthorn is not the real Apo. He can hear Phopthorn’s thoughts loud and clear.

Since the engagement between Apo and Suriya is more of a business arrangement between two powerful families, Suriya makes a proposal: they’ll keep pretending to be a couple—for the sake of maintaining the family alliance. Thus, their fake relationship begins.

At first, it’s just an act.

But as days go by, something shifts. Phopthorn and Suriya start spending real time together, talking, understanding each other, they start slowly develop genuine feelings for each other. What started as pretend slowly turns into real feelings.

Meanwhile, they also begin investigating the truth behind Apo’s accident—because it wasn’t random. Someone wanted him gone. And now, they’re determined to find out who and why.

Now the questions:
? Will they successfully carry out the plan all the way to marriage...
? Will Suriya’s family remain unaware of Phopthorn’s true identity?
? If the truth is revealed, what will happen to their relationship?
? And what about Phopthorn himself... Will Phopthorn return to his original body or world? If he does, what will happen to his relationship with Suriya?
Most mysterious of all: what actually happened to Apo? Is he dead? Or did Apo and Phopthorn consciousnesses somehow swap?

That’s pretty much the story—without giving away any spoilers.

What I like:
+ Big and Park being paired together again.
+ I’m quite impressed by Park’s performance. He took on a character very different from his past roles—and pulled it off beautifully. Love how he pulled of both as Apo & Phopthorn.
+ The family dynamic in each of the 2 families

What I don't too like:
- The story is sometimes quite predictable. But still quite enjoyable

Overall this quite a good drama to be watch

My December 2025 recommendation

Watched this for my Recommendation Challenge from 𝑴𝒊𝒔𝒖𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒕0_𝒐𝒅.

One movie that I don't think I'll ever click watch if not for the recommendation challenge & Misunderst0_od. Haha…

Let's begin…

The story takes place in a world quite different from ours—one where humans and monsters once coexisted. But no matter the world, humans remain selfish b*tch and power-hungry. Eventually, they drive the monsters away in their desire to dominate everything.

Now, the story kicks off with a war in the monster realm. One powerful monster wants the throne, so he starts a rebellion against the king, and he wins. Now, he’s hunting down every member of the old king’s family and loyal ministers to eliminate any remaining threats.

This is where the paths of our main leads begin to collide…

The queen, barely escaping with a few loyal guards, encounters Tian Yin (TY). Knowing she doesn’t have much time, she makes a desperate choice—using magic to transfer her unborn child into TY’s body.

So now, TY is pregnant—and inside him grows the baby Monster King—an existence everyone wants to control or exploit.

Enter Huo Xiao Lan (XL), a monster hunter who initially protects TY only because she plans to claim the baby monster for herself and sell it for a high price.

But as they travel together, facing danger after danger, things start to change. XL and TY begin to care—not just for each other, but for baby monster king. They start seeing the baby not as a prize, but as someone worth protecting.

Meanwhile, the queen’s loyal guards are still out there, continuing their search to find and protect their rightful king.

Now the questions remain:
? What will TY and XL do with the baby monster king…
? Will they still sell him like they first planned…
? Will they raise him themselves…
? Or will they finally return him to his rightful guardians….

That's pretty much the story without giving anymore spoilers. Now what I like and don't.

What I like:
+ Funny movie that’s not exaggerating.
+ Good songs
+ Good CGI, cute baby monster
+ Good story about friendship & family

Overall I am quite happy to watch this movie…

My November 2025 recommendation

Watched this for my Recommendation Challenge from 𝑨𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒏𝒂𝑻𝒉𝒆𝑺𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒓𝑿

"Even If" is a short film that sheds light on school bullying and excessive violence, while also highlighting the struggles faced by LGBT individuals in a judgmental society.

It tells the story of May and Cin—two close friends who fall for each other.

The only problem? They’re both girls. And as teenagers, that alone makes their relationship a target. At first, their friends seem supportive—or at least stay silent.

But things change when Tae, a charming new student, arrives and starts teasing them. His influence makes the other girls, who are drawn to him, begin bullying May and especially Cin. The pressure builds, day after day.

So how does their relationship hold up in the end?
Can May and Cin survive the judgment of those around them?
Or will they break apart under the weight of fear, shame, and constant bullying?

That's pretty much the story without giving anymore spoilers. In the end this truly highlights the challenges faced by the LGBTQ+ community—especially for young people trying to love openly in an unaccepting world.

For just 27 min, it’s really worth your time to watch it…

Another drama of Jimmy-Sea. Let's watch!!!

Story of Dr. Thapfah (Fah) is an ICU doctor and Inthu (In)—a clairvoyant and tarot reader.

It begins on In’s graduation day, when he suddenly collapses. A man comes to his aid and introduces himself as a doctor. To In’s surprise, the man turns out to be Fah—the older brother of his best friend.

For unknown reasons, In begins experiencing vivid visions—each one foretelling a series of tragic events in Fah’s near future. Troubled, he tries to warn Fah about an approaching streak of misfortune that could cost him his life. But Fah, a rational and skeptical man, doesn’t believe in horoscopes, destiny, or supernatural signs. So, when In warns Fah of an approaching streak of misfortune that may cost him his life, Fah doesn't buy it.

But then, one by one, In’s predictions start coming true—manifesting as a string of accidents and near-death experiences for Fah. Each time, In somehow manages to save him. Concerned for Fah’s safety, his family insists that he leave the city for a while—and they ask In to accompany him.

Now, away from the chaos of their normal lives, the two find themselves alone together. As days pass, they grow closer, learning more about each other and forming a bond that slowly turns into something deeper and more romantic.

So, what will become of their relationship? And will they finally uncover the truth behind the person orchestrating the dangerous accidents targeting Fah?

That's pretty much the story without giving spoilers. Now what I like and don't.

What I like:
+ Chemistry between Jimmy-Sea never amiss
+ I like to see for once First playing an unconventional role. It kinda suits him.
+ Kinda like the 2nd couple. Although their chemistry still needs to be polished.

What i don't like:
- The plot is kinda forced. Stupid reason for Kasidis to go after Fah after he's stop being his wife doctor.

Overall I quite like this drama. I just hope this will not be Jimmy last drama…

My Sept 2025 recommendation

Watch this for my Recommendation Challenge by 𝑵𝒐𝒊𝒓𝑹𝒐𝒔𝒆𝑯𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒕.

This is the story of Masaki and Tsukasa. They first meet when they argue over using a basketball court—the facility manager had accidentally double-booked it for the same day and time. To resolve the issue, they agree to split the court in half: one side for Masaki, the other for Tsukasa.

For some reason, Masaki finds himself drawn to Tsukasa, and he quietly checks in on her from across the court. When it’s time to go home, he offers to drive her—and from that small gesture, their friendship begins to grow.

Over time, Tsukasa slowly opens up. She shares with Masaki the story of her past: a severe car accident during high school that left her with lasting injuries. She now lives with memory impairments and uses a wheelchair. But despite everything, she refuses to let her limitations define her—she’s determined to live life fully and on her own terms.

Masaki, a taxi driver and passionate basketball player, admires her strength more with each passing day. And as they spend more time together, Tsukasa begins to see him not just as a kind friend, but as someone truly special. Soon, their bond deepens into love, and they begin a relationship.

Despite facing challenges—and resistance from their families—they fall deeply in love, supporting each other through every obstacle.

So what will be the next challenge life has in store for them?

That's pretty much the story without giving anymore spoilers. Now what I like and don't.

What I like:
+ Both Masaki & Tsukasa are really facing real life problems, but despite all it’s one of the greatest love stories that doesn't only show us the sweet side of love but also the bitter side.
+ How both parents' concerns are truthful. Both parents love their kids, and the way they show it is raw…

What I don't like:
- Unfortunately I find the story quite boring… And the type of story I'll forget what this about if I'm not write the review
- I can't quite make a different between past stories & the future... It's confusing sometimes

Overall, despite having a meaningful love story, if not for the challenge, it’s one of the movies that I’ll stop watching after 30 min.

Watch this for my Alphabet challenge. This short drama turned out quite good.

Let’s start with the story…

The story is about Ye Ke Le (KL), an unlucky and ominous person — so unlucky that everyone he touches ends up with bad luck. KL helps his mom run a tea shop in Wanle City, which his father left to them. Unexpectedly, he gets entangled in a mysterious murder case involving a strange perfume. When KL is nearly executed as a suspect, Lan Qing Yue (QY) intervenes—saving him from the death penalty. In return, she asks for his help in solving the case.

Turns out, despite his terrible luck, KL has an incredibly sharp sense of smell. QY, an investigator, needs his unique ability to track clues others can’t detect. To assist in the investigation, KL becomes a patrol guard—though he ends up unintentionally working as a spy.

On his way home after the conversation with QY, he meets a pretty girl named Xiao Qi (XQ). When XQ runs out of money at a food stall, KL kindly pays for her food. Accidentally, she touches him—and to his shock, nothing bad happens. XQ remains completely unharmed, not instantly struck by bad luck like everyone else who’s touched him. It turns out she’s his polar opposite: a girl who has been incredibly lucky since birth.

Once he arrives home, he sees his mother being harassed by thugs who are demanding payment for a debt. They want her to give up the tea shop as payment. QY, who witnesses this, wants to repay KL's previous kindness by promising the thugs she’ll come up with the money within one hour.

Easy money in an hour? Of course, the answer is gambling. Haha.

So, KL and XQ head to a gambling house to win the money for the debt. At the gambling house, XQ proves her luck, they win enough to pay off the debt. However, the gambling house doesn’t take kindly to newcomers winning big. They can’t accept a newcomer walking away with all the money, so they resort to violence, trying to force KL and XQ to give the money back.

Just then, the thugs arrive, demanding payment from XQ. Seizing the opportunity, XQ quickly points to the gambling house goons and says, “They have the money.” And just like that—a chaotic fight erupts between the thugs and the goons. While the brawl rages on, KL and XQ make their escape.

After their wild escape, XQ tells KL she needs a place to stay. She came to town to visit relatives, but no one’s home. In return for shelter, she offers to work at the tea shop to pay for her stay.

And that’s how XQ ends up working with KL. With her bright ideas and infectious energy, she starts bringing new life—and customers—to the tea shop.

Meanwhile, KL continues working with QY on the mysterious murder case. But the deeper they dig, the more complex it becomes. What started as a simple investigation soon unravels into something far bigger—eventually implicating the royal family.

So, will KL eventually crack the mysterious murder case? And what about his relationship with XQ? And what about the tea shop — will it continue to grow and thrive?

That's pretty much the story without giving the spoiler. Now what I like and don't

What I like:
+ An interesting short drama with a clear storyline — a proper beginning, middle, and end.
+ No annoying BGM
+ You can find the full version with eng sub on youtube. Haha…
+ Great performance by the cast

Overall, for a short drama, this one is well-produced and definitely worth your time to watch.

My Aug 2025 recommendation

Watch this for my Aug 2025 recommendations challenge by 𝒖𝒏𝒃𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒆𝒃𝒖𝒃𝒃𝒍𝒆.

This one of the times I don’t remember is this from my PTW list or not. Haha… But either way, I’m really glad I watched it. Sometimes, simplicity truly is the best approach.

Let’s dive into the drama…

The story follows Cha Seok Jin (SJ) and Kang Kyung Joo (KJ) — two academic rivals, with KJ always ranked first and SJ stuck in second place. SJ has been holding a grudge for a while, frustrated that he can never seem to beat KJ.
This semester, SJ thinks things will finally be different. He heard that KJ would be a student exchange student abroad, leaving him to claim the top spot. To his surprise, when the semester begins, he still sees her on campus.

Later that day, SJ joins a drinking party with his friends and some new students. During the party, his friend dares him to become the top student — whether KJ is around or not. If he fails, he has to wear an embarrassing T-shirt and perform a tap dance in front of the whole campus.

The next day, SJ regrets accepting the challenge and tries to back out—but his friends won’t let him. So he starts thinking: how can he actually win? He can’t just make KJ too exhausted to study—she’s already juggling part-time work and still managing to stay at the top.

Following his friends' crazy suggestion, SJ comes up with a plan: make KJ fall in love and get into a relationship so her grades will suffer. So, he makes a "fake" love confession to KJ. To his surprise, KJ sees right through his actions and decides to take the challenge herself by accepting his confession.

And just like that, their “fake” relationship begins. But as they spend more time together, what started out as a calculated move begins to grow into something real. They slowly begin to understand each other beyond the rivalry and academics.

Now the questions are:
> Will KJ’s grades actually suffer because of the relationship?
> Can their ‘fake’ relationship turn into something real?
> And what will become of their rivalry?
That's pretty much the story without giving the spoiler.

Overall, this is a short film centered around a simple but powerful idea: you’ll never truly understand a person until you take the time to get to know them. And for just 60 minutes, it’s absolutely worth your time.

Watch this for my Alphabet challenge. This film is about reconnecting with family members who have long been out of touch and how to blend two cultures together through a single dish.

Once again, MDL’s summary is absolutely on point. So, I’ll not bore you with another summary, just read the summary provided by MDL.

What I like:
+ Interesting to see the family dynamic of Masato. How he managed to search and reconnect with his maternal family.
+ It’s so funny to see how easily the grandson is able to soften his strong-willed grandmother’s heart.
+ It's interesting to see Japanese people dare to walk through an exhibit that shows their brutality during World War II. And to see Masato actually show remorse—there’s something profoundly honest and reassuring about that moment.

What I don’t too like:
On the joke side, I just wish they had shown us more of the dish. Haha…

Overall this is a journey of Masato to find and reconnect with his maternal family.

Watch this for my Alphabet challenge. This short drama turned out quite good.

For once, MDL’s summary is absolutely on point. So, I’ll not bore you with another summary, just read the summary provided by MDL.

What I like:
+ So funny to see how Choi Se Hoon (SH) tries to win Lee Yi Ryung (YR)'s heart.
+ So impressed by SH’s action to win YR’s heart. Even though he didn’t really understand why he did what he did, his heart was there.
+ Although a little impossible, but so happy they choose to portray a woman that’s so naive like YR. It really shows not everyone can be seduced by the beautiful side of the celebrity world.

What I don’t like:
- A little bored with the story. Quite forgetful drama in my book.

Overall, this short drama had everything that could capture your heart at first sight. However, for me personally, nothing really stood out enough to be memorable.

I forgot how I came across this title, but here I am — done watching it.

It's a story about Riku and Keita, who are in a relationship but keeping it a secret.

Riku is the popular guy in school, while Keita is just an ordinary student. Their secret relationship sometimes makes Keita feel insecure.

It turns out Riku isn’t hiding the relationship for himself — he’s doing it to protect Keita. As a popular student, Riku doesn’t know how their classmates might react if their relationship becomes public. He’s afraid that coming out could put Keita in the spotlight for all the wrong reasons.

By the end of the story, Keita’s growing insecurities force Riku to make a decision about where their relationship is headed. Will they finally go public, or will they break up? And how will their classmates actually react when they find out — will they be supportive, or will they mock them?

That's pretty much the story without giving too much spoiler.

Sometimes, the simplest stories are the most powerful. Riku and Keita don’t need grand gestures or complicated drama to make us root for them. Their love story quietly but deeply captures the internal struggle between true feelings and societal expectations.

At just 17 minutes long, it’s absolutely worth your time.

Watched this one for my alphabet challenge. It’s an okay movie—nothing groundbreaking, but it does offer a touching reflection on life, love, and sacrifice.

Story about Kim Su Jin (SJ), a woman who has just ended her relationship with a married man. Heartbroken and lost, she wanders the streets and stops by a convenience store. There, she buys a Coke but accidentally leaves it on the counter. Remembering it moments later, she heads back—only to see a man holding a Coke. Thinking it's her Coke and that the man just wants a free drink, SJ chugs the Coke in one gulp in front of him. But she later finds out it isn't hers. So, yeah, a classic awkward moment where you just consume something that belongs to a complete stranger.

The next day, SJ sees the same man again while accompanying her father on a site visit to a construction project he’s in charge of. Turns out, he’s one of the foremen—Choi Chul Soo (CS)—a carpenter with aspirations of becoming an architect.

They get to know each other, and soon SJ falls in love with him. It turns out SJ's love isn't unrequited; CS also reciprocates her feelings.

Their relationship grows, but they soon face their first challenge: SJ’s father. Given her father’s high status, CS is nervous about being rejected for not coming from the same background. And he’s not wrong—SJ’s father initially disapproves. But seeing the determination in his daughter’s eyes, he eventually gives his blessing.

After getting married, CS finally passes his architect exam. Life seems perfect—until SJ receives devastating news about her health.

In a moment of fear and selflessness, SJ asks for a divorce and wants to return to her family, not wanting to burden CS. But CS refuses. To him, “in sickness and in health” isn’t just a vow—it’s a promise—so he won’t leave her side. She’s his responsibility, not hers to carry alone.

As her condition worsens faster than expected, the question looms: will they stay together, or will SJ return to her family?

That's pretty much the story without giving too much spoiler. Now what I like and don't.

What I like:
+ A relatable story about how illness can change everything—especially in young love.
+ A very human portrayal of illness and love—it makes you wonder what you'd do in a similar situation.
+ It was quite shocking to realize that such an illness can affect someone so young.
+ Happy to see how CS stays by SJ’s side even after her health deteriorates.

What feel lack:
- From the beginning, we never really learn much about SJ’s past relationship. Did she know her boyfriend was married from the start, or did she only find out later when his wife confronted her? The film never clarifies. It’s not crucial to the main plot, but more context would have felt like a plus point for the story.

Overall It’s a decent movie—emotional, heartfelt in parts, but also somewhat forgettable. Worth a watch if you’re in the mood for a romantic melodrama with a touch of tragedy, but don’t expect it to linger long after the credits roll.

Watch this for my alphabet challenge. And I'm glad I've watched this.

Story about Seon Eun Woo (EW) who was dumped by her long time boyfriend, Baek Seung Gyu (SG). And she can’t get over her feelings for him and wants him back.

Just as she’s stuck in her heartbreak, her childhood friend Yoon Jae Won (JW) suddenly reappears in her life. JW returns to Korea to take over the café of his old crush and friend, Kim Hye Won (HW), while she handles her business abroad.

On the very day JW reunites with EW, the café catches fire. Devastated and overwhelmed, JW ends up getting drunk with EW. The next morning, EW wakes up to realize she’s somehow offered JW a place to stay at her home—marking the beginning of their unexpected cohabitation.

During their time together, EW tells JW about a superstition known as the Curse of Wednesday at 3:30 PM. According to legend, it’s the worst time of the week for women—when tiredness and stress peak, making them feel and look a year older. For EW, the curse feels painfully real, as her breakup with SG also happened precisely at 3:30 PM on a Wednesday.

To thank EW for letting him stay, JW comes up with a plan to help her win SG back. They call it the Wednesday 3:30 PM Project. JW will “date” EW every Wednesday at 3:30 PM and post their outings on social media—hoping to make SG jealous and want her back.

But over time, something unexpected happens. EW starts looking forward to their dates more and more—not for the sake of getting SG’s attention, but because she genuinely enjoys spending time with JW. She begins to forget her original goal entirely.

As the weeks go by, the feelings between JW and EW begin to change. Their bond evolves beyond childhood friendship. Just as their new routine starts to feel like a sweet ritual, SG begins to show signs of jealousy. And to complicate things further, JW’s crush, HW, also returns—reigniting JW’s past feelings.

So what will happen next? Will they go back to their former loves? Or will they take a leap and turn their childhood friendship into something more?

That's pretty much the story without giving the spoiler. Now what I like and don't.

What I like:
+ The adorable, natural friendship between JW and EW. From the beginning, it’s clear how well they fit together. They understand each other on a deep level—without needing to spell things out.

What I don’t like:
- How JW & EW become stupid people when it’s about their feelings.
- The concept that worker can just excuse themselves everyweek at Wednesday at 3:30 p.m.
- I kinda pissed actually when JW finds out SG is a jerk but chooses not to tell EW. Come on—She's his friend first above all. You should tell your friend if you know their partner is a b*st*rd.

Overall this is a really good short drama to watch.
