I watched this drama just because... but I'm truly glad I did! It turned out to be quite a captivating watch.

This is the story of a woman named Mei Lin (ML) and Prince Murong Jing He (JH).

The story begins with a devastating fire that destroys Qingzhou, with JH accused as the perpetrator. In the chaos, ML loses her entire family and vows revenge. She joins the Shadow Works, enduring grueling training to become an assassin. When she finally graduates, her very first mission is to kill JH.

ML takes on the identity of one of the Xiyan beauties to get close to her target. She successfully infiltrates his circle, but soon discovers a shocking truth—the mastermind behind her mission is actually JH himself.

It turns out JH orchestrated everything in order to uncover the real perpetrator behind the Qingzhou fire. Now, working together, ML and JH dive into the investigation to seek justice for Qingzhou.

As they spend time together, their relationship slowly shifts from one of deception and hostility to trust and even affection. ML’s hatred turns into reliance, and JH finds himself genuinely drawn to her.

But can they uncover the full truth about what happened in Qingzhou? Will justice be served—and what about their relationship? Will the Emperor ever approve of their love?

That's pretty much the story without giving the spoiler. Now what I like and don't.

What I like:
+ Good chemistry between Liu Xue Yi & Wu Jin Yan.
+ A pleasant surprise to see Bi Wen Jun in the role of the second male lead—I’m actually happy he’s part of this drama.
+ The ending! Loved how they gave us an alternative ending within the final episode—no extra specials needed.

What I don't too like:
- At times, the development of the relationship between JH and ML feels too rushed. The way ML’s deep-seated hatred simply fades away, after everything she’s been through, seems a bit too easy and unrealistic.

Overall this is really one good drama to watch

I finally decided to watch this movie — let’s dive into the story…

It tells the love story between a man and a woman who are in completely different places but somehow become deeply connected. They begin to perceive each other’s emotions and thoughts, communicating in a way that changes both of their lives forever.

One day, An Yi (AY) accidentally hits her head and falls unconscious. When she wakes up, she suddenly hears someone in her head. It turns out to be Gao Ang (GA), a piano tuner, who has mysteriously become connected with her through brain waves. Not only can they hear each other’s voices, but they can also feel what the other is feeling; for instance, when one is hurt, the other feels it too.

From that moment on, their lives become intertwined. At first, neither of them accepts what’s happening, and they even try to make each other miserable out of frustration. But gradually, they come to terms with the situation and become the ones who understand each other best.

Just when everything seems to be falling into place, a new complication arises—AY’s longtime crush begins to show interest in her and wants to start a relationship. Fueled by jealousy and a gut feeling that something’s off with AY’s new boyfriend, GA tries to stir up trouble for AY.

Is GA just being jealous… or is there really something wrong with AY’s boyfriend?

Either way, tension builds between them, and their peaceful connection breaks down again as they argue and blame each other. AY, overwhelmed by everything, blames GA for the problems with her boyfriend. Unable to bear it anymore, GA makes a painful decision — he cuts off the brainwave connection between them.

And just like that, silence.

Suddenly alone without his presence, AY realizes how much GA truly meant to her — and how much she misses him.

So, what should AY do now?

Will she go to GA’s place and finally meet him face to face?
Or will she let this feeling fade away?

That’s pretty much the story—without giving away any more spoilers.

Overall, this movie delivers a beautiful message about love, connection, and understanding. If you're a romance junkie like me, this can definitely be added to your watch list.

I was quite intrigued by the trailer—and it also stars Off Jumpol! So once the show finished airing, I jumped right into it.
Let’s get into the story…

The story follows a girl named Jued, a fresh university graduate struggling to find a job. Unfortunately, she hasn’t had much luck and has been relying on her boyfriend for support—until one life-changing day.

One day, Jued met a man and accidentally swapped phones with him. She unintentionally ruined his proposal to his girlfriend, and in retaliation, he sabotaged her relationship with her own boyfriend. But by the end of the day, something about Jued caught his interest. He gives her his business card and tells her to apply at his company. From the card, we learn his name is Boss

Boss works for a unique service — a break-up agency that helps people end their relationships. He’s their top employee, known for always getting the job done and prefer working solo. When the CEO finds out Jued received Boss’ card, he assigns her to work with him — despite Boss’ objections.

Boss is the perfect employee for that said job, because Boss believes love is fragile and easily broken. Unlike Boss, Jued, on the other hand, even though she just had her heart broken, is a romantic at heart. She still believes in love. She’s an idealist who thinks relationships can be saved, which puts her in direct conflict with Boss' cynical worldview.

At first, Boss tries various tactics to get her to quit or be reassigned to another team. But Jued is resilient, and surprisingly good at the job. Jued proves herself to be more capable than either of them expected. Eventually, even Boss acknowledges her abilities and agrees to keep her on the team.

Jued’s optimistic views on love begin to challenge Boss’s principles—and sometimes even interfere with their assignments. At first, this frustrates Boss, especially when Jued hesitates to break up couples she believes still love each other. But slowly, Boss begins to realize how much Jued matters—not just professionally, but emotionally. And slowly but surely, feelings start to develop between them.

Just when things seem to be heading somewhere, enter Tee, the company’s tech guy who gets reassigned to join Boss and Jued’s team. Tee is everything Boss isn’t — sweet, attentive, and supportive — and Jued begins to notice him more.

Meanwhile, a rival company called Destiny enters the picture. Unlike Break Up Service, Destiny focuses on reuniting people with their loved ones or helping them find true love. Destiny even manages to bring back together some of the couples that Break Up Service had previously separated.

So… how will this all unfold?
Will Boss and Jued end up together?
And what impact will Destiny have on the business?

That's pretty much the story without giving any more spoilers. Now what I like and what I learn.

What I Like:
+ It was fun seeing Off Jumpol paired with someone other than Gun
+ Every character has their own quirks and unique appeal.

What I learn from this drama:
* Love requires openness and honesty to thrive.
* A successful relationship needs both partners to share the same goals or values (like Baimon & Baimai, or Cherry & Bee).
* It’s often easier to see others’ relationships clearly than our own — just like Jued, who helps fix others’ love lives but struggles with her own.

Overall this drama has a lot to say about love. Yes, love is fragile—but when you're truly honest and open with your partner, there's nothing you can't work through.

Below I’ll write what couple they break for each ep… Start with the 2nd ep, because the first is when Boss & Jued break off their own relationship. Fair warning though, I’ll write a little bit of spoilers. So if you don’t wanna know, you can stop reading here.

> This time, the company is on an outing when—boom —Chan unexpectedly runs into his ex-wife at the hotel. She’s there with her fiancé for a pre-wedding photo shoot. Furious at the sight of her moving on happily, Chan immediately orders his employees to break them up.
> Much to his shock, he soon discovers that her fiancé is none other than the CEO of Destiny —the rival company that reunites couples. And of course, their wedding was arranged with Destiny’s help.
> At first, no one wants to go along with it — after all, they’re supposed to be enjoying the outing. But Chan dangles a huge bonus in front of them, making it hard to refuse.
> So, how will this mess end in the end? Who will come out on top? Will Chan’s team successfully break up the couple, or will Destiny win by making their wedding happen?

I had been curious about this drama for a long time, but it somehow kept getting pushed to the back of my mind. Haha…

Anyway…

Story about Ling Xiao Xiao (XX) , a girl who dreams of becoming an imperial chef in the palace. She’s constantly underestimated at home because of her gender. Determined to prove herself to her father—and to challenge the gender bias in the culinary world—she sets her sights on the palace.

XX eventually manages to enter the palace, but instead of being assigned to the imperial kitchen, she ends up in the Crown Prince’s (CP) kitchen. The CP is known to be a very picky eater; many chefs have failed to satisfy his palate. But XX believes his pickiness comes from boredom with the greasy, repetitive dishes usually served.

So, she prepares something simple for him. However, before CP even tries the dish, he feels insulted by its simplicity and has XX kicked out of the palace. But everything changes when he finally smells and tastes her food—he’s completely mesmerized by the flavor and immediately orders for XX to be brought back.

XX agrees to return, but only after striking a deal with the CP—one that he reluctantly accepts.

From that day on, XX becomes CP’s personal chef. As days go by, she slowly grows closer to him. She eventually learns the real reason behind CP’s pickiness — and realizes that beneath his cold exterior lies a kind-hearted man.

Throughout her time at the palace, XX meets many people, including the Emperor and Empress. At first, she faces challenges due to her gender, but she ultimately wins everyone over with her talent and kindness.

As time goes on, the bond between XX and the CP grows stronger, giving rise to romantic tension. At first, XX doesn’t fully understand her own feelings, but moments of jealousy and separation help XX realize what she truly feel for CP.

So the question now is—what will happen to Xiao Xiao? Will she end up joining the Crown Prince’s harem, or does another destiny await her? And when she finally realizes that becoming the Crown Princess means giving up her dream and leaving the kitchen behind? In the end, which path will she choose?

That's pretty much the story without giving the spoiler. Now what I like and don't.

What I Like:
+ The food! It seriously made my mouth water while watching. The way the cast eats — with so much expression and enjoyment — OMG!!!! Feels like they’re teasing us through the screen.
+ The Emperor and Empress are surprisingly kind & reasonable characters. I’m so glad the story didn’t get unnecessarily complicated by having them disapprove of XX.
+ There are many interesting supporting characters , each with their own quirks and charm. Like the imperial consort, when have we ever seen imperial consort this fat but still loved by the Emperor. No offense intended, of course—I just said the fact.
+ The Interesting ending…. Oh I'll not write in here. You have to watch it yourself to know what I mean.

Overall This is such an underrated gem— sweet, heartwarming, and full of great food and romance and not so much drama or palace intrigue. it’s definitely worth watching.

Watch this because of YouTube fishing. It turned out to be quite interesting, so I decided to keep watching.

The story is about a girl named Tang Ling Long (LL), who dreams of opening her own restaurant. However, her father insists she take over the family’s traditional Chinese medicine business instead. One day, she stumbles upon a game on her computer. When she starts playing, she’s mysteriously transported into the game world — where she becomes the spoiled daughter of an ancient tavern owner in a historical setting.

As expected with this kind of drama, of course LL must complete a certain mission before she can return to the real world.

When LL arrives in this new world, she learns that her (in-game) father has just passed away. Worse yet, she quickly gambles away all the money he left her and even ends up in debt. Her mission is to pay off that debt through her own hard work, without taking any easy way out. For instance, at one point, she tries to sell her father’s paintings, but she discovers she can't do that, because time just reverses back before she sold the painting.

So, LL's journey to free herself from debt & out of the game world begins. Accompanied by her maid & servant, Ye Liu Xiang (LX) & later also by her friend, Lu Zi Ran.

Soon enough, we find out that LX isn’t who he seems. He’s actually the son of a marquis. LX initially joins LL to investigate corruption connected to her father’s past. But as time goes on, LX finds himself falling for LL, which causes his original purpose to shift. Later, we even find out he has another hidden identity beyond just being a marquis’s son.

So, how will LL’s journey unfold? Will LL successfully free herself from debt and back to the real world? And what will happen between LL and LX relationship once LL discovers LX reasons for getting close to her in the first place?

That's pretty much the story without giving the spoiler. This is quite an interesting drama at first. The story is good — it has a clear plot, good acting, no annoying BGM. And the other identity of LX is also interesting.

Overall for short dramas this is quite a good quality. Unfortunately this had a very big BUT in the end. Below I'll write what I mean by a very big BUT in the end. But that also means SPOILERS ALERT!!! Read it at your own risk.

==================================================
SPOILER ALERT!!!
==================================================
As for the ending... I don’t quite like it. LX’s expression wasn’t very clear — it looked like he was confused about why LL suddenly jumped and hugged him. Haha! It left me feeling a bit unsure about his feelings at that moment, and it kind of took away from the emotional impact the scene could’ve had.

Could've been better

Long time want to watch these, but it's like they're at the back at my brain. Haha... Finally watched this.

Story about Jom and Yai finally meet up in the future, the timeline where Jom live. Longing for each other all these time, finally on a night of the meteor shower, the universe heard their pray & let them meet. So, how this drama special tell their story in the future...?

That's pretty much the story without giving the spoiler. Now what I like and don't.

What I like:
+ Jom & Yai still the sweet couple. I really wish I can watch their story in the past or the beginning of their story...
+ Quite happy to see Yai get to see the future

What I don't like:
Much like BL Compilations wrote: 'if you had a few minutes or a few hours with the love of your life for perhaps one final time, what would you do? Play a virtual reality game? Check your phone and ignore them over lunch? Do a dance and post it to social media?'

Yeah unfortunately the writer of this drama decided on one of the most stupid plot to start their reunion. And this special ep filled with all that stupid & unimportant stuff.

And that stupid & unimportant stuff are enough to make it into one of my biggest disappointment list

So... If you love the drama, my full heart suggestions just avoid this far far away...

Stumble upon this from my YouTube feed. So I just jump to it...

The story is about Hu Die (HD), a maid in the Shen family. The Shen family’s daughter, Qing Xia (QX), was planning to escape from an arranged marriage to the Nie family. By coincidence, HD meets Nie Zhen (NZ), though neither of them knows the other’s identity at the time. When HD returns home, she receives devastating news — QX has committed suicide after being raped, unable to bear the shame.

So, to uncover the truth behind QX’s death, HD decides to impersonate QX and go to the Nie family as the bride. She never expected, however, that her groom would be none other than NZ — and NZ is also surprise to see HD as his bride. But unfortunately for HD, NZ actually knows her true identity from the start but chooses to remain silent and go along with her plan. And so begins their game of pretending... and plotting.

HD starts investigating inside the Nie household, searching for clues about QX’s case. But as she digs deeper, her feelings for NZ begin to grow — especially after she learns that NZ truly fell for her the moment they first met. When HD eventually uncovers evidence linking NZ to QX's death, she finds herself conflicted and torn between her emotions and her quest for the truth.

Eventually, NZ proves he wasn’t responsible for QX’s fate, and from that point on, their relationship starts to blossom. Just when things start looking beautiful… QX suddenly reappears, alive in front of HD. QX reappearance brings a whole new level of chaos to the story.

Turns out, someone saved QX and fed her completely false information about HD and NZ. And being the naive girl that she is, QX believes everything without question.

So, how does the tangled relationship between HD, NZ, and QX end? And what’s the real motive of the person who manipulated QX?

That's pretty much the story without giving the spoiler. For short drama this still included in the good one. This has clear plot (begin, middle and end), good acting, good ost, no annoying BGM.

It just such unfortunate the plot kinda messy. I can spot the plot even before they start plotting. Haha... And sometimes the logic isn't there. And really unfortunate the more toward the ending the messier they are. I did plan to give this higher score, but after watching till the last ep, they really don't give me much choice... I really hope they give more ep to make it less messy than this one

So, even for short drama this still included in the good one. But the messy plot really make me can't give this higher rating. Do I still think this worth watching...? Oh yeah.... For short drama, this still worth watching in my book.

March 2025 recommendations challenge

Watch this for my March 2025 recommendations challenge by Jelena Petrovic. Interesting drama, I’m really happy I got to watch this.

Story about 5 adults who had regret in their life & giving 2nd chance by universe. Not to redo their past by going back to their youth, but more a chance for redemption of their regrets or you can said atone their sin.

Seksan, Songpol, Jaya, Jarunee and Amonthep all at age 55 years old. One day, after series of events in each of their lives, they all woke up with their face becoming youth again, to be exact, back to their 15 years old face & body. Hence the title 55:15.

Shocked by the fact but can’t do anything about it, one by one they decided to enroll in school again, each for their own reason. In that school, by coincidence they meet & start befriends each other.

In this youthful body, each of them learn how to live as teenagers & the modern world. They also learn more about themselves, their family & friends & also about their own regrets. So, will they be able to transform back to their original body…? What will they learn with this journey…?

Below I’ll try to tell you a little story of their life & the reason for them to enroll in school again without giving too many spoilers.

1st story. Seksan (san).
Seksan is a voice actor, who had been fighting with his parents and running away from home since his youth. He lived his life full of spree with 1 regret. His first and true love, Prim.

After Seksan changed into his youth’s body, he saw Prim drop a girl to a school. With that, Seksan with the help of his friend decided to enroll into the school, as San, with the hope of meeting Prim there.

Soon, San finds the girl that Prim drops & befriends her & finally he can reunite with Prim. And then San learns that Prim is having marital issues, where her husband is abusive toward her, but doesn't want to let her go. So, how San will react to this & what will he learn from this experience…?

2nd. Songpol (Pol/Paul).
Pol is a son of a traditional & conservative Chinese family, who has been hiding the fact that he’s gay. Once his mother died, Pol with the help of his niece, Noinae, decided to find a date. But deep down, Pol actually had been in love for a long time with Mathee, a pianist in his restaurant. On the day he got young, he’s in shock & upset, because Mathee was planning for another marriage.

With the help of his family (his brother & niece), Pol also enrolled in the school as Paul. There, he meets Pipu (Mathee’s son) and becomes his friend. But soon, it turns out Pipu not only wants to be his friend, Pipu wants something more with him. So, how will Paul handle his feelings for Mathee & Pipu at the same time…? Will Paul be able to release his feeling for Mathee in the end…?

3rd. Jaya Janiya (Yaya)
Jaya is a singer, she was once very popular at her time, but now she's old, yet has diva behaviors while her popularity is not like it used to be. Before she gets back to her youth’s self, she's having problems because of her behaviors & her career is doomed.

So, now she enrolled in the school, with the name Yaya, to come at her rival, Grayta. Grayta became the thorn in the flesh for Jaya because her company decided to use part of Jaya's song for Grayta’s new song but they don’t give Jaya credit for it.

But through Grayta's insult, Yaya decided to give another chance to raise her name to the top again. She’s determined to fix her mistake as Jaya & as Yaya to have a shot to become a singer again. But soon,Yaya learned to become a singer these days not as easy as it used to, being pretty is not enough anymore. So, will Yaya be successful to be a singer again…?

4th. Jarunee (Jenny)
Jarunee is a strict teacher that every student doesn't like. Before she gets back to her youth’s self, she's having problems at school with her students and also receiving bad news about her health. She got cancer.

Now she is entering the school again, with the name Jenny, because she’s worried about 3 girls that have problems with her. In the school, she successfully be a little closer to 3 of them. But Jenny is still as stiff as Jarunee, so at first it’s a little hard to be closer to them, they like to mock her a lot.

Luckily after some time, she comes to the conclusion, while she needs to live in this body, why doesn’t she embrace it & live her life a little bit freely. So, Jenny lists 10 things she wants to do before her death. And little by little she managed to fulfill it…

Now the question is, what happened to her cancer…? Because when she’s as Jenny, the cancer seems to be gone, but she still experiences all the symptoms. Will the cancer be gone when she’s back to her old self or the cancer is actually still there but it just undetected…?

5th. Amonthep (Thep)
Amonthep was a talented boxer, but due to ill intentions by his opponent, they broke his leg & ended his career. Now as an adult, he's drowning in debt to guard his boxing arena. Why…? Cause the arena not only represents his youth but also the heritage from his adopted father.

When they're wondering how to get the money for the arena, Amonthep got the idea to win the championship. The only problem is they don't have a champion. At first Amonthep turned into his son, Pangpond (Pond), only to get strong opposition from Pond. So when Amonthep turned into his youth’s self, he enrolled in the school, with the name Thep, to search for a champion.

But, the search is no fail & the date for the championship is getting closer each day. Suddenly, Thep realizes his leg is not so hurt anymore, he goes back to his youth body & so his leg. So, rather than keep waiting for a champion, Thep starts to train his body to be ready for the championship himself. Now, with the support of his wife & son, Thep aimed for the championship.

But after learning from Jenny’s case, my question is… Is Thep leg really healed, or is it just hidden behind the youth body…? So will Thep successfully win the championship & save his arena…?

That's pretty much the story without giving any more spoilers. Now what I like and don't.

What I like:
+ Interesting intact regarding reincarnation. Usually we got someone back to their life a few years / decade ago & that’s for them to redeem their own mistake. But this one, they got back to their youth’s self but the timeline is not swifting, it is still running normally.
+ How they really learn to redeem themselves
+ They have true family & friends on their side. Although their story seems so absurd, their family & friends believe them & support them all the way.

What I don’t like:
- Quite bored with the song. Haha… Jenny really only sings 1 song the whole time.

Overall this really one interesting story about redemption & reflecting your life.

Recommendation Challenge feb 2025

Watch this 2 times. 1st because of Neo & all the CGI & cast, but drop it cause I don’t feel this is my vibe. 2nd because of the Recommendation Challenge from Hanshu. And since it’s a Challenge, of course that means I need to get this done… Haha… But till the end I still stand with my first impression; Great drama, amazing CGI, amazing cast, but still not for me. Haha…

As usual, story first…

Story about a great demon, Zhao Yuan Zhou (YZ), who visits & was captured at the demon-hunting bureau. At the same time, the demon-hunting bureau suddenly received the task to unravel the mystery regarding the water demon. And with the Chong Wu Camp order, they formed a team; Wen Xiao (WX), Zhuo Yi Chen (YC), Pei Si Jing (SJ), Bai Jiu (BJ) & lastly YZ.

YC started the journey with a huge grudge against YZ, cause YZ is the one that killed YC’s family, YC & YZ also had a pack that YZ will die in the hands of YC. But with this journey their feelings toward each other also changed.

SJ started the journey with a huge scar regarding her younger brother. BJ started the journey with a mission on his own & problem with his dad at home.

WX turns out has a special status. After searching, they find out she is the reincarnation Bai Ze goddess. But with the revealing of this fact, their journey just began to a whole new level…

Together they embark the journey to bring peace for humans & punish the demon that made the chaos in the world. Before the journey started, each of them had a burden on each of their shoulders. But this journey finally teaches them how to hold it together, how to share their burden to each other & not only think it as their own burden, cause now they have each other.

That's pretty much the story without giving any more spoilers. Now what I like and don't.

What I like:
+ Great CGI, great fighting choreography, great acting, good story
+ Great friendship between all our lead
+ Good nasty old villain. The villain is one of the most evil in the Xian Xia story.
+ The ending... Where the cast dancing... Oh yeah that's quite a show to watch...

What I don't like:
- I don’t know what, but it just doesn't really click with me.

Overall this is quite an interesting story to watch.

Recommendation Challenge feb 2025

Watch this for my recommendation challenge by Crafty. One heart-warming story of a family. Sometimes the most beautiful family is not the one we were born into, but simply the one that we found later on in our life. As usual MDL summary is quite messy. Let me tell u the story from my perspective.

Story about Mo San Mei (SM), who has been lost in the world. SM feels forced to do his family's business for generations; to arrange the funeral for the dead one, they offer their service from doing make up, rearranging the body if the body is crushed by accident, until providing the urn after they're being cremated. One line of work that we often look one eye at because we think it brings bad luck, but also one important job to escort our loved one for their final time…

One day, when SM was preparing the body of an old woman, he got attacked by a child. This child is Wu Xiao Wen (XW), the old lady is XW’s grandma who was dead during her sleep. So, XW’s grandma never said her last goodbye to XW & XW has no one except her grandma, feels SM took her grandma from her. Since no one really cares nor pays attention to her, XW slips to go search for SM's car & begins harassing SM to give her grandma back.

Frustrated yet not knowing what to do with XW, SM only could call XW’s uncle to take XW back. But it turns out XW uncle's household did not allow them to take XW in. The desperate uncle finally turns to SM for help. At first only for a few days, but soon those days turn into permanent.

SM with the help of his friends / employees Yin Bai Xue & Wang Jian Ren, adopt & take care of XW. From XW, SM learns how to take responsibility, how to be a dad & find a new meaning for his life & learn new appreciation for his line of work. And XW herself learns that someone loves & welcome her.

When everything looks beautiful, comes a new problem; XW’s mom returns & asks for XW back. So how in the end SM handle the situation…?

That's pretty much the story without giving anymore spoilers. From this movie we really can see how selfish adults are, & also how beautiful the child love is. Really one beautiful story to be watched.

Stumbled upon this on the feed. Happy to watch this... Much like Shasha wrote: "it is not a BL: it is a gay story. It is not fantasy, it is the real life."

Story about Kan & Tul, 2 young actors who meet at a film workshop. They hit it off immediately & later we found out they actually falls for the each other.

But unfortunately Tul has different plans for his life: he wants to get married and have kids. So in the end they just carries on with their life.

That's pretty much the story without giving any more spoilers. In the end this really one reality check for gay life story

One of the drama that just go by in my mind, but I do re-watch it. Haha... Turn out I've watched it last year, but this still in my YT list, so I accidentally re-watch it again. Haha... Let's leave a review so I really remember that I indeed watch this. Haha...

Story about Yuan Chu Yu (CY) & Liang Ze (LZ). CY met LZ back in the university. That time LZ passionately chasing CY & they started dating. However, just when their love reaches its peak, LZ leaves without saying a word.

Many years later, they meet again, but this time LZ turn out to be CY's boss & he hides his identity from CY. After sometimes, LZ finally admitted himself, turn out he hides his identity to protect CY. And with that revealing, their relationship reenact again.

When everything look perfect, comes a woman name Su Qing (SQ) into the picture. SQ is LZ friend sister that been entrusted to LZ. Later we find out SQ is a kind of '绿茶 (lv cha) / green tea' woman that like to disturb LZ & SQ relationship. And from CY side, there's a man name Xue Zhi Yao (ZY) that's like CY. So how in the end their relationship rolling from here...?

That's pretty much the story of this short drama. For short story this actually kinda good, the plot has a clear beginning-middle-ending story, good acting too. But the one that make this fall into bad categories is how everything wrap or edited, more over the usual annoying BGM also make everything worse.

So, decided urself to watch it or not....

Once more YouTube fishing successful hook me into this drama. Haha... In the end I'm really glad I'm watching this. Simple yet heartwarming story.

Story about Yang Zi Xiang (ZX), a son of a businessman, who looked like a useless 2nd generation who just like to have fun with all daddy money. Deep down ZX is just eager to escape from his familial duties, cause he feel his place is not there & his brother, Yang Zi Cheng, is more fit with the role. And Shao Peng (SP), a young man who are deaf & mute.

Our story start from the moment ZX is sent to Taiwan by his dad for business negotiations but is immobilized by a sniper attack en route. He persuasively asked Feng Jie (FJ), to employ SP as his caretaker, hoping to seize the opportunity to flee for freedom. At first SP hesitant to accept the job, cause he doesn't like ZX. But frustrated in job seeking due to his deafness and muteness, he finally accepted ZX offer.

Later when SP discovers he's being used by ZX, SP angry & decided to leave. ZX felt guilty yet feel attracted by SP genuine care, decided to apologize & asked SP back to take care of him. When SP decided to hear ZX reason & be understanding about the reason later, SP expresses his empathy for ZX & decided to stay & take care of ZX.

Gradually, ZX is getting more and more attracted by SP's genuity and tenderness, particularly moved by his optimistic facade that masks his anger and insecurity about his deafness and his doubts about love. And SP who also moved by ZX vulnerability & ZX honest feeling for himself, slowly but sure feel something different too for ZX.

And when ZX & SP try to understand and accept their feeling for each other, the other trouble comes in the shape of ZX's fiancé & all the misunderstanding start to take its shape. So, how in the end ZX proof his feeling is real to SP & how their relationship begin after this...

That's pretty much the story without giving any spoilers. Now what I like & don't

What I like:
+ The chemistry between ZX & SP
+ The sign language. Oh I love finally there's someone who really appreciate sign language & decided to make drama with it.
+ The good family of Jiang's family. How supportive SP's parent for their relationship.
+ The cute 2nd couple, FJ & Wang Xin Jia.

What I don't like:
- The ending once more feel like hanging. I really hope we get the scene with ZX's dad really give his blessing than just hinted like this.
- ZX & SP relationship feel rush. It just like they suddenly be in a relationship.

Overall this like I said in the beginning, simple yet heartwarming story.

I forgot how I stumbled on this one. But I want to watch a movie, so just randomly selected from my PTW.

Story about a woman [Tian Xiao Le (XL)], who fell in love with her classmate [Cheng Da Ye (DY)], but being a teenager, she tried to hide her feelings.

XL & DY have been friends since DY decided to help XL with her studies. XL & DY get attracted to each other without them realizing it. DY feels attracted by free spirited XL; while XL feels grateful & attracted by DY who helps her sincerely.

In this movie the writer took us through the journey of their love story. Even though XL & DY know they love each other, but being the teenager themselves, they don’t want to admit their love to the others. And later we witness they try to hide their feelings by having another relationship, while still putting the jealousy in their attitude. And later life also forced them to be separated & finally how life / universe in the end forces them to admit their feelings for each other.

I prefer the other title of this drama, 18 Things First Love Taught Me. Cause in this movie XL & DY each tell us what they learn about their feelings for each other, what lesson they get from this first love. XL & DY each share with us 9 lessons. So hence the 18 in the title comes from.

Let me elaborate what the lesson they learn from their love without giving any spoiler / more context. Really just what they told us throughout the movie.

𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭: 𝐓𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐗𝐢𝐚𝐨 𝐋𝐞
1st lesson:
When a woman feels vulnerable she’ll surely be moved by the care of a man no matter how little it is.

2nd lesson:
A woman can get crazy for someone she loves

3rd lesson:
Even though a woman knows that love is only an illusion, she’ll make the best of the mistake

4th lesson:
It’s better to walk into a man’s eye in a second then to walk into his heart for a lifetime

5th lesson:
The great cruelty is to sacrifice yourself to serve others.

6th lesson:
To love someone never means cheap or not, it just means willing or not

7th lesson:
Control urself in love, and you'll almost be out.

8th lesson:
The way to make love disappear quickly is to make it a burden

9th lesson:
A person is most important to you when you feel that you are about to lose him.

***************************************************************************************************************************
𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭: 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐚 𝐘𝐞
1st lesson:
A man's love starts from compassion.

2nd lesson:
Women are unreasonable but charming creatures

3rd lesson:
It's a mistake to point out woman's mistake

4th lesson:
They get angry easily even with the little things

5th lesson:
The woman in love is a, leading politician

6th lesson:
Women often have 2 faces, but they are more clear about what is right and wrong than men

7th lesson:
A woman's heart is like a needle at the bottom of the ocean, but it's men's duty to look for the needle in the ocean.

8th lesson:
When you begin to learn about love, you can only see the shadow of it.

9th lesson:
Parting is to cut the Gordian knot, but the hurt will last for a lifetime.

Overall this is quite a unique movie about first love. But nothing too special too… Do I agree with all they're thought? No, not really...
