I do believe I've had it. When writers who've had 45 !@#%$# episodes to show off how smart a guy is (Do Gun Wu)…
I feel kind of inclined to disagree? Do Gun Woo has always been really greedy. And in this case, I think it's totally plausible to say that his greed for power and money trampled his smarts. After all, he was legitimately upset about the fact that his father wasn't going to die and his plan wouldn't work out as well...
But, I agree with you that he made some REALLY dumb moves. Like, how the heck would the president have gotten the will into the safe?? And what are the chances that someone doesn't check the CCTV and find that the only person who had gone into the safe was Gun Woo? He really did some dumb things, and that I think is the writers' fault and lack of thinking it through.
On another note, I think the president is definitely an awful person (however, there were clearly moments when he was not as tyrannical as he was), but I must say that I cannot stand his wife. She's just cruel--well, the whole family is--but I just cannot get over her attempted murder as well as the fact that the woman shows absolutely zero care that her husband is dying.
I actually commented just to say that yes I also ship Shin Young and Gi Tan, simply because Oh Soo Yeon is being ridiculous + she's an idiot.
Wow I didn't realize this had 24 episodes?~ I'm not caught up yet but omg it's so cute ;;
I love these two leads and wow hello to the second lead--I see you over there... creeping your way into my heart...
This drama is all messed up.. How can they make a joke in a funeral!!! Time to drop!
Honestly, I was recently at a funeral and I was kinda surprised by how upbeat things are nowadays. I think it's 'cause people don't like to focus on death and prefer to stay upbeat?
exceptional drama! just beautiful. but im confused as to why no one revealed to LYO that in fact he does not have…
Because he did. It stated (rather quickly) "Even if it wasn't the surgery that caused it, it must have been a traumatic experience." So his father's verbal abuse or "training" did cause an empathy disorder to appear. He really did have the problem of being unable to empathize. ^^ I don't know if you recall, but in the case with the news reporter's abused son, LYO says to the reporter "If he isn't treated (or something) for the abuse, he can become like me. He won't be able to empathize." It was kind of like a foreshadowing.

He was told. But it was in a vague way haha. When she came in and said that his surgery was perfectly fine and told him he was his father's failed experiment was when he found out. He then went to his house and confronted his father.
I can't even express how upset I am that this was cut. I really would have liked to seen the original story as it was supposed to be. I'm insaaaanely irritated, and despite being the cleanest wrap-up for a cut drama that I've seen, I can help but feel like everything is such a shame. ;; You can just feel the rushing they had to do (though it was seriously smooth.)
On another note, definitely a drama I love. It's a drama that's entirely about the characters. Plot is minimal and a lot of the cases are utilized to affect Lee Young Oh or other characters' feelings. The romance was cute and there wasn't any overwhelming melodrama. The characters were just amazingly done. They're sooooo real ugh. They have their bad sides and they have their good sides. They didn't feel like typical caricatures of people that you see in dramas.
Also Jang Hyuk is amazing ;; It was a really good drama if you can handle characters and a sort of slice-of-life feel. But don't let the comments hype you up, because your expectations may overshoot the drama's charm. :) .
Lol @ people always asking for season 2. What kdramas in a whole history of kdrama ever got second season (variety…
No problem~ Haha, I totally understand the struggle. Those are the only two I know of with continuing seasons though. VP Seasons 1&2, and GQ Seasons 1, 2, 3, and 4!
Amazing movie! The actors were amazing, and to be honest, I love crime films. The ending is insanely chilling as well.
To those who didn't like the ending, let's remember it's based on a real life serial killer case, and it mirrors the reality of the case.
