Does anyone know what that snake with face thing was?
According to a comment on dramacool
"Snake spirit: the spirit was based on a japanese water yokai Nure-onna which has a head of woman. That is why when it was killed by the grave digger, it rained."
I remember binging the original during lockdown and it was so good! Honestly though, I don't think you can go wrong with this genre (slice of life/ found family). It's all about exploring and building characters and their backstories. But I also think that people will constantly compare it to the chinese one and will be more critical of it. I'm guilty of this myself with A time called you (Someday or one day adaptation), I would've enjoyed it a lot more if I wasn't comparing it. I did this too with See you in my 19nth life drama and webtoon.
my blood type is also different from my parents... should I be worried?
No, it's way more complicated than that. You can be for example O type and your parents A or B type because they both have the O recessive gene but since A and B are dominant they are expressed. But if you are type AB and your parents are not A and B type then yes you should be worried.
You know most of the time a drama ends and it just leaves you with a happy feeling, you give it a 9 or 10 and then you read the reviews calling it mid and you agree with every single point they make. That's how I feel.
I think I just rate spontaneously (and I blame the people in tumblr that make the greatest gifs ever that I'm a sucker for). I kinda wish I rated with logic. The same thing happened to me for AoS season 2, it was kinda bad when I look back, but i was genuinely having a phase and I could look past all the flaws (I also blame youtube for that).
I like your review tho. I dont think it's hate, you're just stating the reasons why you didn't like the drama, I mean that's what reviews are for.
I don't know if this comment made sense, but yeah I liked the premise of the drama (they kinda fcked that up but it was still cute in my eyes). Should've been 12 eps tho.
ughh with a bigger budget and more episodes this could have been so much better.
I thought it would be another romcom but honestly I'm so glad it had more depth, it was such a pleasant surprise and it was very interesting.
At some point I stopped caring about the couples, I kinda wish they had more scenes (especially Max and Chanel) I wasn't that convinced with the romance, but it was cute nonetheless.
I liked the first few episodes but then the government parts ruined the flow and the final episode was mainly…
No, I think Almond's decision made sense, cause when Val asked him about his biological mother he clearly showed that he has no interest in knowing anything about her. He grew up in the farm, where it's actually kinda nice for him so why would he choose someone that he barely knows?
i will never shut up about someday or one day's soundtrack it's honestly the best but sorry where is sky castle?? did we forget about the most iconic ost of all 'we all lie'???
