This is adapted from a Manhua. It is actually storyboard blocking exactly like the manhua. So, that's the timeline jumping editing decisions. For me, I always like it when the drama is storyboarded the same way the manga is. I think they are doing a good job with it. But I did think, for viewers who haven't read the manhua, it would seem a little confusing or have a jerking feeling.

Wow, what a great review. You really laid everything out. I thought I wouldn't like this series because of how season 1 made me feel as well but it was so much better. Mix and Earth blew me away with their acting in this series.

I'm pretty sure this novel 'peach lover' is based off the manhau BJ Alex.

There was a movie called 'Return to Me' that has the same premise - a person gets a heart transplant and meets and falls in love with the person's partner. It was actually based on a true story. This story is so heart moving and deep. A Tale of a Thousand Stars was so beautifully done. Thank you Mix and Earth for such an amazing portrayal.

DON'T WATCH THIS MOVIE. ITS FUUUUCKED UP AND WILL BE A TORMENT TO YOU. JUST DONT DO IT. NO MOVIE IS WORTH THE MENTAL AND SOUL FUCK THIS ONE DOES TO YOU. JUST TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF. THERE ARE TONS OF OTHER DEEP AND DARK FILMS OUT THERE THAT WONT DO WHAT THIS ONE WILL.

I didn't realize they made a live action of soul land! It would be easier to find if they just gave it the same title. Lol, I am watching Generation to Generation and just discovered Zhou Yiran, and I thought 'oh my gosh he looks like an anime character come to life!' And now I see he literally is playing an anime character! They see it too! Zhang Yuxi also does, she was perfect for this role too.

Because of this bts I can never get over either Ziyu and Tian or the characters. I fell in love with the characters more after watching the bts. And I've never adored any one more than Tian and Ziyu. How the F did we all get so lucky to see this footage?! How could we possible express the gratitude and love after getting to see them just as they are?! The sweetest, silliest, hardworking boys. We are all rooting for you both, success and happiness and health forever and ever!

really great review. It really is phenomenal because of all these things. It's so rare in drama to be so f-ing perfect. The thing I can't get over the most is Tian and Ziyu falling in love IRL having a parallel story. The drama couldn't have been cast any better. I literally just don't know what happened to have those two play those specific roles and then be themselves and all the sparks and story between them...can't get over any of it...wu sou wei and chi cheng...and ziyu and tian.
